Best curry in town use all the time

Beef curry could have more beef in, was like a mushroom curry rather than a beef curry. But very tasty. Short woman could have more respect for customers instead of rushing customers to order, apart from her everything is fab

Brilliant!! Staying here for a few days and needed some food in the town centre. I got a all in one box special which only cost £5.70 and I got char siu pork, rice noodles and in a sweet and sour sauce. The meal could of honestly fed two at least. I really enjoyed it and didn't have to wait long.

Ordered food 2 hrs late so ordered else where , offered them 25.00 in stead of 25.46p they rejected and left no doubt gonna be a re heat happy eating people

tasted like mould😟 don’t think food should taste like that. egg fried rice was brown and overcooked with no egg??? egg fried rice surely should have egg, idk maybe i’m just silly n use egg. maybe shouldn’t have a restaurant if the food can’t be cooked correctly. soggy prawn crackers💔💔 was so upset, cried for an hour after tbh. only thing good was the can of coke which i could’ve got from bossman round the corner.

Absolutely distgusting, by far the worst chinese food ever. No beansprouts in the chow mein, sloppy overcooked noodles and you could have rang the grease out of the chicken balls 🤮 straight in the bin.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Best place if you are looking for the real taste. Very friendly staf. I'll order again for sure.

Can't review on atmos or food as my food DID NOT turn up, it was due at 8pm at the lastest and was still another half an hour beyond that when i tried calling the resturant to get some information. It took me 20 tries with my phone saying line was busy before it started ringing, then hung up on me without speaking to a single person. Judging by how long it took just for the line to be busy tells me others are having the same struggle tonight. Apauling service. I order from them the most compared to other takeouts and never had such a bad experience. If there is a problem, please answer the phone when it rings and inform your customers or even close your Just Eat account for the night instead of just taking their money. 0 stars. 👎 (Post script) 21:42pm, driver just arrived with the food after i cancelled it. Had to tell him i didn't want it after almost 2 hours late.

AVOID!! We used to always order from here, after tonight, never again, the last 2 times the rice wasnt fried it was boiled and tastless yet we ordered egg fried rice, it looks like they just stuck bits of egg in it n boiled it as it was all mushed together like mash, disgusting. Also it took an hour and a half to be delivered.

Finally got my food after 3 hours, delivered by driver who can't talk. Definitely my last order

Walked in here on a whim one night and Will be DEFINITELY back. The food was absolutely stunning, cooked perfectly not greasy or unpleasant at all. To top it off the guys behind the counter are absolutely lovely - thank you very much you now have a bunch of new regulars!

Food was rotten waited 1and half hours for it to come freezing cold chips were like ice chicken not cooked and cans of pop warmer then the food was it’s a no from me

After waiting an hour and a half for delivery, the food was absolutely disgusting and I had to throw it all away. Everything tasted and smelled like old oil and the sauce was sour. would NOT recommend

Food was 1hour 21Min late. No one called to let me know.i called and the first person said that it was leaving shortly.after 30min I called again to be told it was only being prepared. When the food arrived it smelt and tasted of old oil. £20 wasted and restaurant declined to refund or rectify it.

Phad Thai is nice but needs less onion and more noodles 🍜

Food is nice if they get it right or on time ordered from there several times first few were great last couple have been terrible one took over 2 hours to arrive and others the order has been wrong! The staff are very polite but do not listen to what you say will not be ordering again would rather order elsewhere and get a better service

shocking service. food was okay but waited 3 and a half hours for it. called up three times, each time i was told it would be arriving soon but then didn’t receive food till 9:30 ( i ordered at 6). food luke warm on arrival. i have never left a review before but this was ridiculous - there was absolutely no care when i rang up, and when the food did arrive the driver did not apologise but instead moaned about somebody else’s gate not opening when he took it to the wrong house

Placed an order at 19:06 this evening through Darloeats. Order accepted a few minutes later and advised delivery at 20:30. Okay, your busy, it's Saturday night. Order arrived just before 10:00. I had called twice and they said it was out for delivery. Its 1.2 miles away. It's fast food. On the phone they refused to give me compensation. Told me me to speak to Darloeats. Can't comment on the food because I still have not eaten it. We had to feed the family earlier.

Over 3. HR for delivery. Rang 3 time told on way would be 5 mins.

Just had the best Chinese iv had for a long time. The Singapore chowmein was cooked to perfection. Omg the salt and pepper chips where the best iv ever tasted. The food arrived hot and on time. Would highly recommend and definitely 5 star food

I've ordered from here for last 3 years. Food is nice but other things now let it down. My telephone order a while ago took 1hr and 1/2 to get to me!!!! Last night ordered through Just Eat. The delivery driver was sat in her car over 5 minutes outside so food was cold. 3 items were missing. After ringing was told there should have been 2 bags delivered and only got one and the other bag was in the drivers car. About 10 mins later the other bag arrived freezing. I'm going to go elsewhere in future!!!!

Food didn't come when we called they had forgotten our order. 1.5hr later food delivered and is so unrecognisably chinese. The roast pork Cantonese style comes in sweet and sour sauce and battered! Pineapple in a Thai green curry. So unauthentic and poor service

Food came an hour and a half late with no apology. Was tasteless and bland. All i could taste was the pan.

Ordered this evening for meal to be delivered any time after 8pm it turned up at 8.10pm, the food was piping hot and absolutely delicious, the delivery guy was really well spoken and a pleasure to speak to, thank you so much for a lovely meal.

Got a mixed grill beautiful food highly recommed it to anyone x thanks all at China town

Food was beautiful, food was hot, it was so filling. 😍 Customer service on point, so helpful. I was not sure what to get as never tried this, the menu is high on options. The lady recommended Chowmein dry house special, could not fault! Highly recommend

Update. They phoned back about an hour later and offered free food but I'd already been out and bought from else where! Ordered food told 1hour 15 min turned up 2hrs 15 with wrong order .delivered ours to someone else. Then got it off them and tried to give to me cold . Never use them again.

Always order from here and have never had a problem before tonight. Ordered at 5.15 pm and after waiting 2 hours it finally arrived, however was the wrong order. Phoned them and they asked what we had received so we told them, they then asked what colour car the driver had but we didn't see it, they then said they had found the persons order in the kitchen that we had received. We asked for a refund and they said they would come and pick the food we had received up first. An hour later and still no refund or confirmation on what's happening. Feeling very disappointed and very hungry.

Good food, delivery can be slow but can't complain as its always hot and driver's friendly. Walk-in service good too

I orderd Saturday night the food was a little later than stated about 1 hour 15 min total .food was cold and satay sauce extra was horrible had a thick layer of burned skin on top of it portion of chips were missing called to complain and they said oh we to busy all we can offer you is 10% off your next order ,not good enough 20 pound of food went in the bin ,also contacted darlo eats who I orderd through who said we will look into it. never order again

Just had our first take away from China Town It was on time, the meals where very tasty and of a high standard to say it was the best Chinese take away meal I’ve ever had is an understatement, thank you China town for a fabulous meal

Always late. They lie and day it's on it's way. We've had enough now because last time food was cold too. Won't be using them again. Review on just eat had wording removed too.

I usually collect food as it's quicker, but due to having to self-isolate, while awaiting a Covid test result, I had to order a delivery, and decided to go with China Town. Big mistake, I ordered online at 6.50, I was told the delivery would take up to an hour, it actually arrived just before 9 by an unapologetic, unsmiling man ( I knew he wasn't smiling as he wasn't wearing a mask). I rang a couple of times during the 2 hour wait, the logic I got was that my order wasn't there so it must be on the way, suggesting a 10 minute journey, which as I rang at 8, turned out to be an hour. Darlington isn't that big a town, so assume the driver had more deliveries than Santa Claus. After all that, the food would have to be unparalled, exquisite, ambrosia of the Gods, in order to add any stars on to this review. Unfortunately, it was very, very average.

Was nice but the barbeque ribs where the most flavourless ribs iv ever tasted and there was only a drop of sauce. I travel all over the country and the worst ribs I have ever had are from my home town typical 😂😂

Very disappointing! Starters (dumplings and samosas) were excellent. However..... Main courses were awful. The 'crispy' orange duck was greasy and tasted more like Sunny Delight than orange. A sweet, sickly smell pervaded our kitchen from the duck carton and was pretty soon relocated to the outside bin, it was awful. The pork/chicken Chow Mein was just about edible, but thoroughly unremarkable. Expensive for what it was, definitely won't be ordering again.

Ordered over two hours in advance of delivery. Food arrived 70 minutes late, cold, congealed and inedible. Telephoned twice to find out if the order was on it's way, only to be told each time it left twenty minutes ago! Phoned a third time to say food was inedible and was given an apology but no offer of a refund. Never again!

Ordered a takeaway from chinatown tonight, first time weve ate here before so glad we did. Was told an hour and a half for delivery came in about an hour. Food was gorgeous enjoyed by all in our house.

First time we’ve ordered food from here and all I can say is all the food was absolutely disgusting! It was all cold especially the “duck” which was dry and hard and didn’t resemble duck at all.. probably a wood pigeon! Avoid!!

BEWARE FRAUD - PAYMENT TAKEN BUT FOOD NOT RECEIVED!!! I ordered food on China Town's website ok 27th November and was told hour and a half delivery. Chased after this time and was told it would be another half hour. Cancelled order but HAVE NEVER BEEN REFUNDED. This was a great takeaway when it first opened - what's happened???

Really great service. Fast delivery. Food excellent. Only thing that was wrong was they forgot to put in freebies. Meal exceptionally. Highly recommend this place & have told many friends/family about it.

Had our first t.away from Chinatown last month was fab however just ordered tonight and was very disappointed would have sent back if eatten in an restaurant and refused to pay! Food arrived cold, meat did not look like beef or chicken let alone taste of beef or chicken samosas supposed to be curried flavoured but tasted like a spring roll. Even the chips were terrible.. now looking for a new chinese t.away!

Absolutely delicious and what a greeting to get when I open the door a happy bubbly delivery man. PERFECT FOOD AND CUSTOMER SERVICE DEFINITELY RECOMMEND

Waited nearly 2 hours when told it would be 1. Phoned back twice to be told it's on its way. If I was told it would be 2 hours I would have gone elsewhere.

Ate in on Friday and shared the steamed pork dumplings and the grilled pork dumplings. They were freshly made and very tasty. Great meal deals too.
