Its ok to visit, but dont expect too much. Its busy and its all about just restaurants. Some decoration on the street and a nice gate. You can defo dine here very cheap, just to say something positive.

A must visit if you are in the area loads of restaurants to pick from very busy if you are planning on eating there the side restaurants are well priced and offer great food selection

We came to China Town whilst visiting London. Whilst we were there it was Chinese New Year so it was really busy and there was a great atmosphere. The area was well decorated with loads of lanterns, lights and traditional Chinese decor. Loads of choices of restaurants.

We went to china town after the theatre, the area was vibrant and lively, with live singing, and people just enjoying themselves.

What a place! Delicious smells fill the air as you walk through the decorated streets. The energy China Town has is second to none. With so much variety, you can't go wrong. This isn't my first visit, and it definitely won't be my last!

Very popular among visitors and locals. Terribly crowded in the evening, even on weekdays. It is no longer just a place to try Chinese food. It is also a place for entertainment: gambling (casinos), drinking and dancing (discos). The Chinese restaurants all have their menu and prices displayed outside their premises. Patrons can browse and choose. There are also a number of theatres nearby. Most restaurants serve until close to midnight. Theatre goers need not worry about where to find places for a late night supper.

If you are stuck for ideas as to what to do in London, then you can walk through Chinatown! The decorations are nice and there are both food stalls and restaurants. The name is stated on the tin; Chinatown so this is what you would expect. I didn’t personally eat it from here, but if you do enjoy Chinese food or culture than this is definitely a place to check out. It can get quite busy

It is interesting to walk through, if you are in the area. The entrances are ornately decorated. There are a fair amount oh Chinese eateries. Not a destination.

China Town in located in the West End of London. It is exactly what it says on the tin - tons of Chinese restaurants and the usual stuff.

I was there with my family we wanted to eat and it was very hard to get the waiter to understand us or even listening to us. The food was okey but nothing special. I'm very interested in all types of Asian cuisine and sadly I could have done it better at home. Nasty toilets. Not clean inside the restaurants or stores. The decorations outside are very nice.

We visited and were not impressed. The walking areas and side walks are sticky. We ate there and that proved to be a mistake as most of the restaurants there are tourist traps with over priced bad food and terrible service. I’d say take a few pics at the entrance and leave. If you want Chinese food, go to a restaurant in a different part of town.

It’s a great place to wonder through and see all the different places that serve the Chinese community. There’s plenty of places to eat with outdoor seating.

This is very close to theatre land so it would be a silly not to eat here. It’s a shame that there are a few gambling establishments and a pub, but these are obviously popular. The place is always busy with plenty of restaurants to choose from, although we went Vietnamese, which was incredible.

Lots of places to eat but very competitive waiters that make it difficult to look at menus so do your research as to where you want to eat beforehand because trying to do that in person is overwhelming with pushy waiters standing outside the restaurants...

Entriamo in questo locale, scegliendolo tra moltissime opzioni da parte dei concorrenti. Il locale poco prima delle dodici e' quasi vuoto, ma gradualmente vengono occupati quasi tutti i tavoli.Optiamo per un menu' da 25 £ a persona. Molto gradevole il te' alla pesca. Quindi una zuppetta alla " dinamite". Poi .anatra alla pechinese con pancakes: discreta, ma non eccezionale. Manzo tritato con chili, gamberoni giganti in salsa piccante, carne di maiale a dadini in agrodolce ( davvero gustosissimi ) e buoin riso fritto. Locale pieno di asiatici.

This was one of the cleanest, nicest China towns we’ve visited with lots of food options. Easy to walk down, attractive and great ambiance.

Really lovely part of London, great food, sights and atmosphere, however beware of the women with modelling balloons, they are beggars and if you don't offer them enough money they can be aggressive! Best advise is to avoid eye contact with them and if they force a balloon on you give it back and walk away. She scared my daughter and put a sour note on our day!

China Town has such a vibrant and buzzed atmosphere! It's so cool seeing all of the Chinese lanterns lined everywhere! It's definitely something I feel you should see while in London and definitely grab a meal while you are there too!

Comparado con otros barrios chinos de otras ciudades, no me parecio gran cosa. Se puede ir caminando de pasada hacia otro lugar y de paso lo conocen.

En una visita a Londres (calle 21 - 24 de junio) y, como de costumbre, nuestra primera llamada fue al restaurante China Town. Tuvimos una comida muy agradable, sopa, pato y tortitas, arroz con carne de cerdo y ternera agridulce. El personal es siempre muy agradable y educado y un gran ambiente.

We went on Saturday to get dinner before the theatre. It was unbelievably crowded; we tried the Slug & Lettuce first.far too busy making cocktails so we could not even get a drink let alone order food! Gave up and went to a lovely Chinese restaurant 4 doors along. It was really busy too but the staff were fabulous. Took orders, had a chat and a laugh; loved it.

This has to be one of my favourite places in London and visiting around the Chinese New Year was quite special. I it was beautifully decorated the atmosphere was lively and and all the shops welcoming; everyone was in high sprits. I met wit my friend for din sum, food shopping in the Chinese supermarkets and enjoyed the street entertainment.

We visited London on the 10th Feb, to visit the Chinese New Year... and found that so did half of Britain. I have never seen so many people in one place, a fun day with loads to see, do and eat... The day started at China Town and ended up in Trafalgar Square with fireworks to end the day. If you was not there, trust me it’s worth see next year. However personally see it once and will not do it again, but glad we did.

We waren toevallig met het Chinese Nieuwjaar in China Town. Het is leuk om een keertje door de straatjes heen te wandelen, zeker omdat de optocht langskwam. Maar, eerlijk is eerlijk, héél bijzonder vonden we het niet.

Tanie jedzenie nie oznacza złego jakościowo, nie oznacza też dosłownie taniego;-) Tanio tu jest w bufetach jak na warunki Londynu, a mniej tanio robi się gdy doliczają obsługę serwisowa w wysokości 10% wartości zamówienia.

Debido a que la mayoría de los restaurantes de Londres están cerrados el día de Navidad, la sabiduría convencional es ir a Chinatown ya que siempre habrá algunos restaurantes abiertos. Desafortunadamente, cada visitante / turista también estará allí buscando una comida navideña. Fuimos ~ 3 pm para un almuerzo tardío / cena temprana y las calles estaban llenas, las líneas de todos lados a los pocos restaurantes abiertos e incluso a los cajeros automáticos. La mayoría de los restaurantes / tiendas requieren efectivo solamente.

Bueno, me gustaría visitar China Town en Londres, ya que es gratis, sin embargo, en comparación con China Town Malasia, definitivamente me encanta el de Malasia, ya que tiene más el auténtico espíritu chino. Sin embargo, la comida estaba bien, nada especial, pero cuando se trataba de pagar la factura, nos dijeron que subiéramos para pagar. Nadie sabía cuál era nuestra factura y, como se ha dicho, habían agregado el cargo por servicio, que está bien si se merece en este caso. Así que les pedimos que se lo quitaran. El proyecto de ley fue de 66, que pensamos que era muy empinada. ¡Sumamos la comida que teníamos, que solo llegaba a unos 43 y solo tomábamos una cerveza y un vaso de vino que no cuesta 17! ! ! ! Entonces, si alguien está pensando en ir aquí, ¡asegúrese de revisar su factura! !

Girando per questo quartiere alla ricerca di un piatto di noodles take-away nella classica scatoletta in carta ci siamo solo imbattuti nell'insegna "only cash". Purtroppo essendo una voglia pomeridiana abbiamo deciso di non sederci dentro a mangiare e abbiamo rinunciato al nostro spuntino. Comunque sia questa pittoresca zona è piena di ristoranti e attività per lo più cinesi ma anche di altri paesi per quello che mi sembra di aver visto: Corea, forse Giappone. Le vetrine presentavano animali morti cotti: dalla forma sembrano anatre. In generale il tutto è carino, ma non una delle mie attrazioni preferite. Sarei curioso però di provare un buon ristorante una sera qui.

This was the third time we visited china town and were very disspointed. There are almost only restaurants left there, almoste no other kinds of shops anymore. That means there is nothing to to before the lunch time starts. We wont be visiting there again

We were in London 10th - 12th August, our first visit for more than a year. As usual our first stop was the China Town restaurant which has a wonderful atmosphere and the staff are very friendly. Really enjoyed our meal, we started with chicken and corn soup, then the £10 tourist menu, crispy duck & pancakes, egg fried rice, beef and sweet & sour chicken with a couple of beers. We are very unadventurous but on our next visit I am determined that we will try the dim sum.

La ciudad china también es un lugar popular para la gente en Londres. Se sitúa en Leicester Square junto a Soho. Es uno de los grandes y bien organizado de Chinatown del mundo, por lo que yo sé. (Como he estado en unos cuantos Chinatowns en todo el mundo. :-)) cuando estás cansado de cualquier occidental, dando una prueba en platos chinos será una gran idea. El famoso plato "Pato Pekín", Bolas chinas y DimSum, etc. no le decepcionarán. Jaja

No estoy seguro de si este es un restaurante llamado China Town o toda la zona de China town en sí. Me gusta esta zona. Solía venir mucho para algunos buffet como puedo comer un montón de platos chinos. El más barato que he probado es de aproximadamente 5 libras por todo lo que pueda comer, pero que fue como hace 5 años. Y hay tiendas para comprar cosas. Y eventos como el año nuevo chino se celebra anualmente. Pruébalo si quieres aprender algunas culturas orientales

il quartiere cinese di Londra me lo aspettavo diverso , molto piu` grande e tipico , a dire il vero mi ha un po` deluso , cmq ci sono moltissimi ristoranti asiatici e in uno di questi abbiamo cenato , un ristorante vietnamita , molto buono .

We decided to visit her so see what it was all about we went into a local Chinese supermarket and staff couldn't care a less were so rude it was unreal. First lady was ushering us forward so she could serve us however the poor gentlemen who she had just served was still there packing his bags I refused to make him rush so went to the next check out person he served us and he looked at me so I looked at him and he pointed to the card machine so I asked if he was actually going to tell me the price of my shopping of which he didn't reluctantly and we left. We seem to have gotten that same experience in most of the shops in China town maybe a bad day bit won't go there again.

Fuimos justo para mostrar a nuestros hijos. Me encantó l. Littlest es uno 3 y el chico en el restaurante era muy cálido y acogedor a todos nosotros. Hizo un montón de alboroto de ella cada vez que fuimos pasando. Buen lugar para echar un vistazo, lo único que me gustaría decir es que espero que no te importa la gente durante todo el fumar
