Great every time hot and tasty

Beautiful food … the chips were on the cool side but everything else was perfect 👌🏻

from ordering to arrive was more than 2.5 hours and the food needed to be heated up in the microwave. This restaurant makes good food but the time keeping is abysmal. Luke warm food isn't good enough.

When we first moved to Rochdale we found this lovely Chinese place and was very happy with how generous the portion sizes was, the salt & pepper chicken is great and took normally 1 hour to arrive after placing the order. Now when we place an order which is only for 2 people so we don't order loads the order comes over 2hrs later! Tonight we placed an order at half 7 and me and my husband and still sat here waiting for our Chinese. We've been going elsewhere and using a different Chinese place because we shouldn't have to wait for over 2hrs each time we order! It's really disappointing as we love the food from here, but I would recommend if your demand is high from customer surely you'd just close your order line so you don't get overwhelmed and run behind and expect your customers to wait around for over 2hrs for there food! I could have ordered another takeaway, it arrive and eaten in this time I'm still waiting!

First time ordering, food was lovely and the portions generous. Would definitely recommend. Will be ordering again in the future!

Food arrived hot and was delicious big portions

Took almost two hours to get my food and for salt and pepper chips they went even spicy. The chicken was too tough and cut the roof of my mouth on them. I’m not ordering again. This is the second time my food has taken over an hour to get. Seems like they don’t take notice of Just eat orders. They’re fine if you call them and takeout that way. But seriously two hours for a meal I was craving and it was rubbish…

The driest salt and pepper chicken wings I've ever had 😖 if it wasn't so late I would of taken them back.

2nd time in a row they forgot to send a portion of chips with the order. Phoned them up and told them about the missing chips that were ordeted as part of a black pepper special meal. Told the chips would be sent straight away. 25 minutes later no chips and cold main. Phoned them back and big argument ensued. Poor customer service, will not use again, they also said I was not welcome back.

I got salt & pepper chicken with soft noodles and collected from the restaurant. Lovely and friendly service, barely a 10 min wait, they did what I asked (no chilli and no onions in the noodles). The chicken is gorgeous, crispy coating, perfectly cooked chunks of chicken, flavoursome and a good portion. The noodles were nice enough, they're medium thickness, I usually ask for the thin noodles but I totally forgot to ask so that's on me. I got a free portion of prawn crackers which were lovely, light, fluffed up and crisp, although some were a bit oily. First time coming here and will definitely go again 👍🏻

Waited and hour and 20 for food. Missing three items. And chicken ball at £7 where black. Kids are now having to wait a further hour for their dinner after I’ve spent £45. Not the usual service I get won’t be returning

Not the best but on my doorstep ,chips need a few more minutes and the gravy tastes of prawn crackers oddly !

Great food from china Royale. Unfortunately they missed our chips off the order. Mistakes happen but the food we received was great.

Wait 2 and half hours for it and when it came, was cold not happy at all.

Ordered our food at 8.30pm. Still not here at 10.30pm. Absolutely shocking service! An update would have been nice but I had to ring the place to ask. Was told my order was just being packed up. This was at 10pm. 30 minutes later still no food.

Absolutely appalling meal. Chicken fried rice not fresh. Chicken balls burnt and reheated the chicken was dry! Spring rolls still frozen. Chips were the only thing edible. Will not be ordering again.

Food was absolutely lovely abd delivery was early. Although there was a finger nail in the chicken which put me off my meal.

Excellent food hot and the best chinese in Rochdale

Most of the food was lovely but the meat spring rolls were black and burnt. Which was really disappointing because normally they’re delicious. Other than that, food was hot and tasty.

Food was ok but customer service is shocking! Order late its ok it happens but it says on app that it was delivered so i called them. The lady who answered the phone was simply not interested she said she dont know and need to check 5 minutes later she says its being prepared and you get it in next 20 minutes in a very rude manner no sorry no apologise, basically just not bothered.

The cod I ordered for my wife was burnt and the fish wasn’t nice she only could eat a little bit of fish and the chips was very greasy

this place is the best place in the world for chinese food always delicious perfectly cooked it's absolutely amazing quality love this place when ever i want a proper decent meal i go here HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Order was late, 37 trys later finally got through and was told order was en route, order finally turned up "munchy box" was just all thrown together and items missing so 15 calls later finally got through and was told it wasnt there fault and to tell just eat items were missing!

Really good food. Only criticism was that in error we received a pudding instead of peas.

The chicken fried rice had no flavour, the batter on the chicken balls was way too thick, the pork bones masquerading as spare ribs were burnt, and the food lacked taste and seasoning. The only thing that was ok was my boys hollands meat and potato pie (not much you can do wrong with that) will not be ordering here again.

Food always hot and tasty.. the customer service is great, I’ve ordered many time never fails. Also, they are honest if a mistake is made they we’ll bring it to my attention and more than happy to rectify.

Children working in there need to want to work in there. Need more speed only waiting for chips and over 10 minutes. But in the end well worth the wait

Best Chinese takeaway by miles...lots of taste in everything...good quality & quantity and prices...shame the premises are a bit dated and pickup time is usually a lot longer ...I pay on the app (onestepeat) & get 10% discount.

Not a Late enough option to scroll to for my order tonight. Ordered at 17.36 and food arrived at 20.40 and lukewarm:( it’s a shame as we usually really enjoy but won’t order again now due to the above. Wouldn’t be so bad if they update you or be truthful with delivery time when ordering.

Delivery was terrible. Was informed deliver was between 45-50 minutes. Ordered food and was in fact over 80 minutes after for expected delivery. Then asked where my food was to be told another 20 minutes. Waited a further 20 minutes and called the restaurant. Informed me a further 20 minutes. Food arrived over 2.5 hours after order was placed, one item being wrong. The rest of the food was lovely

Food was as good as usual but was actually a bit cold. Food was ordered at 17:42 (that was when the confirmation email arrived). I called to check at 7:15 - they said it was on the way. It arrived just after 8pm...

Superb meal the Kung Po is fantastic and the Beef Cashew was nice can not fault any meals from here

Ordered for 7:15 app changed to latest deliver of 7:40. At 7:50 It still hadn't arrived so I phoned the restaurant and they said they didn't think I wanted until after 7:40 and had only just started to make it. It arrived at 7:55. This was not the delivery drivers fault it was the fault of the restaurant itself. Quality of the food is very good just a shame about the wait

Foods amazing. They even exchanged the curry sauce for sweet and sour sauce, as I had asked. Really appreciate it. Best chinese takeaway ever. Munchy box is stunning x

Food taste amazing with a friendly delivery driver

Ordered from this place earlier due to past experiences of the takeaway taking 2 hours or more to deliver, but in fact it arrived half an hour earlier than the estimated earliest time. Half the order was delivered so rang to get the remainder delivered which by the time that came, the other half was cold. Such a shame because lovely food but TERRIBLE service and it ruined the £50 spent for a family get together!

Over cooked and also cold had to re warm the kids sausage and chips and I couldn't eat any of My started again hard and cold. Not happy

Was only given £3 to compensate for the late delivery and the crispy shredded beef I ordered was the wrong sauce when delivered.

Ordered in advance but food arrived late and was warm, not hot. Crispy chicken was just chewy.

The salt and pepper chicken was hard and overcooked the crispy seaweed was very sweet.

Food was missing items on arrival, app didn’t show as order had been delivered which wouldn’t allow me to claim money back on order, by time it did which was following day my 24 hours had gone and couldn’t make a claim nearly £10 out of pocket. Only positive was the delivery driver was very polite and friendly.

Amazing food as always and speedy delivery

Delivery driver turned up arguing with someone on his phone, not even a sorry it was late, never spoke handed over the food and walked of still arguing on his phone.

Food took nearly 3 hours to arrive, got a refund of £2 off a £34 order for the delay, Food was luke warm at best on arrival, didn't eat most of it as was too cold to enjoy, would probably be lovely if it arrived on time and hot. Delivery driver was lovely though

Two and a half hours wasted, and everywhere else closed. Lied twice on the phone about sending out the order, then claimed they never received it. They told Uber I’d changed my mind about ordering after they’d made it so I got charged and had to dispute this too. Appalling service. Wouldn’t have reviewed and would’ve just avoided but they’ve clearly done this before. They said if someone rings to ask where their order is after the delivery drivers have left they don’t check, and just say it’s on its way. Really need to work on their ordering process.
