TERRIBLE DO NOT ORDER!!! Did not deliver food, then we called and they said they attempted delivery which they did not, then said they called the number which they did not. After this they said we had to PAY £2 for delivery that we already paid for and didn’t receive or pick up the order. After asking for a refund they ended the phone call. Terrible customer service and behaviour.

if you're looking for a salt and pepper box look no further than this place. way better than anywhere else in the area. you get a lot for your money. and it's always fresh and tasty. you will not be disappointed.

Food was superb and they gave me a couple more things than what I ordered which was also excellent

Regular orderer and the food is always top notch. Tonight very disappointing, chips which tasted like they were reheated same with the prawns. Not the usual treat we look forward to. Shame.

Received wrong selection in salt and pepper box but tasted good and cooked perfectly. The chow mein/ noodle taste box was very bland and could benefit from way more flavour and taste so you could taste what you’re eating. I’d like to see these flavours improve because then this place would be spot on

food never arrived so hope whoever got the delivery choked on it. whats the point of putting a pin in place if the delivery drivers arnt going to ask for it...fuming...

Wouldn’t recommend to anyone. The telephone manner was so poor I had to double check to see if I was actually speaking to the takeaway store! The food was bland, tasteless and lacked everything.

tastless and cold, the chicken fried rice was one big block and not fried rice

chips appear to be reheated, or rewarmed, genaral quality of main course not too good, left most of it as unable to palate, ordeerd mixed sweet and sour balls with separate sauce- suace defo no up to standard- went straight down sink. Wont order again, far better and at same price or less

Food was nice once it finally arrived... but what happens between the kitchen and arriving needs some work... ordered at 8.30pm... food arrived 11pm... not ideal!

China red used to be my favourite Chinese. Ordered at 8pm, then they said it had been delivered at 8.50 which it hadn't. I rang the restaurant and asked where it was and she hung up on me, i rung back and she asked me If I could come pick it up. When I said that wouldn't be possible that's why I ordered it to be delivered, she said it would be 9.50. It arrived at 10.15 and had wrong items. Unfortunately for me I won't be risking going through that again 😕

im am sorry to have to write this review as i have ordered from here for years. however this time the quality was inedible. the duck was all fat not crispy and swimming in oil. the chicken wings were cooked to a crisp there was no spring rolls in the box. the rice was under cooked it was the worst chinese i have ever had. it has put me off ordering again im sorry.

Very late and food was freezing

Food arrived luke warm at best. Sweet and sour sauce didn’t taste like sweet and sour sauce. Crispy wontons were full which was nice but not crispy. Portion sizes were very generous.

Absolutely disgusting. Food came almost an hour late. Then when arrived it was so bland, not even a hint of salt. Even the noodles came dry and tasteless. I ended up throwing it in the bin. Very, very disappointed.

Food was okay, veg spring rolls weren't crispy. Order was placed at 18:45. Rung the restaurant at 20:00 was told 15 mins, food finally arrived at 21:00. They were not apologetic for the wait.

Tastes so nice and big portions too.

I ordered food for me and my family. The roast pork noodle box was scorching hot, tasted amazingly and tasted home made which was amazing me and my family really enjoyed it. The prawns I ordered were amazing and 100% one of the best prawns we have all had (even my dad has a few even though he usually doesn’t eat prawns that must say something). The ribs were so soft and were tearing off of the bone, they were just gorgeous. We also received 4 pepsi’s, prawns crackers and fortune cookie for free which we are all thankful for. We would also like to say a huge thank you to the cooks, owners and the owners daughter which is my friend. Also thank you to whoever picked out our fortune cookies this was our first time and they were scarily correct and fit us all very well.100% ordering again!

Please add more flavour to food. No taste at all. I judge Chinese takeaway off there soup. It might as well been dishwasher with floating bit.

The people who work at China red was rude on the phone and we didn’t get no updates on our food or about the drivers car was broken down and we had to go get our food and didn’t not get any money back from it being this late

Ordered shrimp in black bean sauce and the shrimp was very rubbery/over cooked food left a weird taste in my mouth noodles was awful and the rice doesn’t taste at all like authentic Chinese food

Ordered from here by accident instead of my usual place which is also called china red. Food was extremely bland. Salt and pepper chips were soggy and had no seasoning, same with the salt and pepper wings. Szechuan chicken didn't taste of anything at all. Cantonese sweet and sour chicken was okay. Food was piping hot which was good. Rice was quite chewy. Really disappointed.

Awful food chicken was slimy and rice was hard beef was dry, made my stomach turn funny.

Sent a different dark sauce when it should of been curry not sure why kinda killed the meal for me didn’t like the sauce what was sent

Ordered the salt and pepper box I wouldn’t say it was really salt and pepper it was very bland not like a Chinese the chicken in the box was popcorn chicken. The ribs was mini ribs but was delicious the chips was either soggy or hard, the curry sauce was nice but tasted like the packs you can buy and make your self. It was okay to eat but wasn’t like a proper Chinese wouldn’t order again

Im really funny with chinese and i struggle to find a decent chinese but this was great only down side was the crispy duck wasnt crispy and was in chunks rather than shredded but it was lovely. Would definately order again

This is my favourite take away right now. My wife is a pain in the a**e to order for and even she loves this restoration. The food is aways cooked fresh and arrives on time if not early.

Food turned up 23 minutes late.

Hot and sour soup awful. King prawn in sweet chilli sauce - batter like mush and bland flavour. Generally food is poor quality and won’t be ordering again.

The salt n pepper wings were discusting. it's like they were made 2 days ago and then heated up. The pork udon was OK. I don't understand how u can be proud of food like that.
