Always fresh,full offlavour and delicious food. Excellent customer service.

Ordered roast chicken and chips. Guy took £20, gave back £3.xx in change. Never noticed. Got home, instead I've got some rancid spring roll thing and chips. If I wasn't so really, really angry I'd go back but the complete and utter Chinese moron that served me looks like he's missing a chromosome and I don't feel like putting myself in a position of being violent with someone that utterly stupid. I've been there weekly for years, I'll never, ever be back. Dirty, robbing, stupid scumbag. Disgusting mess is going in the bin.

Not sure when the food was cooked but I doubt very much it was the same week as I bought it but that wasn't the main problem. The biggest issue I had was there was an absolute ton of salt in it, so much so that I only managed a few bites before chucking it in the bin.

Overpriced, the rice wasn’t fried, onion rings were too salty to eat. Chips were rotten, chicken satay, am not even sure that was chicken slimey rubber 🤮 couldn’t eat it won’t be back. £35 what a waste.

Changed since new ownership not as good spring rolls are totally disgusting not recommended 😑 😒

They need to get rid of that one of the male drivers, he's always an hour and half late and always has really dirty hands not good for what is a fantastic take away.

We have been using the China Palace for over 30 years and today had the worst meal ever. Supposed to be a chicken curry and it definitely was not any kind of chicken I have ever had, it was watery and rubbery with nothing like the taste or texture of chicken . The container was cool to touch even before opening and we only live a few minutes from the premises. We also had a prawn dish that had more onions than any other content and the Prawn crackers tasted stale. We will definitely not be returning.☹️

Best Chinese around. Food always hot. we have used this Chinese a couple of times but it will now become our number 1 Chinese takeaway Friendly staff & very friendly delivery drivers

I was disappointed with my meal tonight order sweet and sour King prawn. The prawns were like rubber, not ordering from them again

Absolutely horrendous. I’m a pescatarian and do not eat meat for personal snd religious reasons. I ordered a king prawn fried rice dish, when I got home and was about to start eating it, I noticed there was something that looked like meat in the dish. I asked my in-laws to try and as they eat meat and they mentioned it tasted like ham. We called and went to the restaurant and when we confronted the owner, she said they always put ham in their dishes. It DOES NOT state anywhere on their menu or on display that all dishes come with Ham regardless of what is said on the menu. They weren’t very apologetic and they even charged us for another king prawn fried rice but without the ham. Absolutely ridiculous and rude, will not be going there again - be careful if you do not eat meat because they won’t warn you that all their dishes come with meat and then will charge you again for their incompetence.

Good food however don't understand why they aren't on just eat anymore?

Really friendly staff behind the counter, always really quick service too, foods always lovely, would recommend definitely!

Have always returned to China Palace over 30+ years, food always arrives hot and delicious. I've tried other take away when visiting friends, but I prefer my food from here.

Been using these for years now used to be the best not anymore ordered a takeaway food arrived quick as always this time the meat in my special curry and special fried rice the pork was off tasted disgusting tried to phone no answer phoned the next day was told nothing they could do because I never phoned the day I ordered shocking so people avoid this place unless u love your toilet

food was delicious!! delivery man was very polite. Chicken curry and fried rice was on point and well cooked. Well deserved the 5 stars!! ill be dropping by soon again.

Just called to make them aware of what I found in my chicken tonight. Instead of taking it onboard or even ask to see it no no no we only use chicken breast. Well depending on how the chicken breast has been cut. But as you can see from the pictures definitely a bones in my sweet and sour chicken.

Someone needs to explain to the dumb blonde serving the definition of dry as below, and not suggy with onions, she has an extremely bad attitude I feel for her family having to live with "that" food was cold by time got back home as rice and other items were already there.. Dumb blonde this is what dry means.. 1. free from moisture or liquid; not wet or moist. "the jacket kept me warm and dry"

Literally waited 3 hours... Arrived almost cold... Main dish was flavourless aswell. Won't be ordering again.

Iv been looking for a good chinese for 9 years it’s the best chinese iv tastes in 9 years

Not great. Got a special satay and a portion of barbecue spare ribs. The satay had more vegetables than meat. Not normally the case but there seemed to be an addition of yellow peppers which took up the place of meat. The rib sauce was bland and had no taste to them whatsoever. This is normally the only place I would buy a special satay from but it was a bit of a let down so I'll be trying somewhere different.

Placed order today on Scoffable. Order came. Incorrect order. Called them to inform them. Asked for new fresh food as my order had been opened by the other wrong order person due to the circumstances at the moment. Order arrived 5 mins later Luke warm. I only stay 5 min drive from shop. my food should not need re heated in microwave. Guess I didn't get fresh food. I Believe it was just put in fresh bag and sent on its way again after returning to shop. Due to and the circumstances at the moment . I not order again or recommend anyone to the take away. Cold swapped over food after shop or delivery people getting orders wrong. Not one for a moan so must be bad if I'm leaving a review.

Never had a problem before until I ordered a takeaway tonight, not the best as it used to be. It tastes nasty. Chicken doesnt feel like chicken the texture was off. Dont think I will be back

Sadly I have not been to the China Palace since it changed hands so cannot comment on it at present but I will post info in due course

Had a Sweet & Sour Chicken tonight. Sauce was very poor as it was very gloopy. Not the usual standard unfortunately

Ordered a chicken and sweet corn soup and beef and mushroom with fried rice. I got my delivery opened it and smelt curry they sent me a beef curry. Now I’ve never had curry for over 20 odd years can’t do spicy food. Called them back that’s ok I’ll get that changed great another driver turned up I went to get it and it’s another beef curry. Now refusing to change it saying I asked for a beef curry when I stay myself not. So definitely won’t be using them anymore and wouldn’t recommend there customer service. Been using it for years and now get treated like this shocking.

I've been ordering meals from the China Pallace for years. Undoubtedly the best in West Lothian. Food is always delicious. Great service.

Not usually one for submitting reviews online but, after last night’s tea (special satay) bought from China Palace, I just had to. Quite possibly the best value and best tasting Chinese meal I have ever eaten., so refreshing to eat a sauce that didn’t start out as a powder. I’ll definitely be back for more from now on!

The only Chinese takeaway I use. The standard of the food served here is above anywhere else locally and I'm yet to find anywhere better anywhere in Scotland.

Chicken noodle soup was super noodles with bits of chicken.vegtable hot and sour it just was vegtables in i dont know what. The chicken satay a first in my life had pineapple not peanut hot and spicy but the rice was fine.

We ordered from here on the 15th November, 2015. Although the food tasted fine it was far too greasy, subsequent stomach pains cannot be a good sign for any takeaway. Will not use again in the future.
