Lovely delivery driver and great food

unfortunately the food was cold

Painfully average. Salt and pepper king prawns tasted a little stale and the Thai green curry looked like something pulled out of a drain. It was edible but shan’t be ordering again.

Great food will definitely order again

Normally order from another Chinese takeaway but they were closed so decided to try here but won’t again, 2 hr wait and I’ve left 75% of the food as very disappointing. The chips and duck pancakes were fine, batter on chicken balls and salt and pepper wings were doughy, undercooked chilli overpowering the beef and wings with the only obvious other flavour being salt.

First time trying this place. It’s great. I highly recommend. Really nice delivery driver too

Food as usual was excellent but some items needed a minute in the microwave. From ordering to delivered 2 hours, time put back by take away.

The food was top, 10/10 meal just wished it arrived at the time requested.

My hubby didn't like his salt & pepper spare ribs and I didn't like how MUCH sauce they put on my Chow Mein, was a mess! Disappointed.

Àlways 5 star food and early delivery but this time it was late ( no problem with 10 mins) but the food suffered. The crispy battered prawns were cold and soggy. Other items were luke warm.

Hubby and I enjoyed everything, my chicken & broccoli was delicious loaded with veggies, and chicken spring rolls were nice. My hubby enjoyed his duck and his wun tun soup. He was raving about it, actually.

Nothing crispy about the chiken balls or the spring rolls. I would say soggy more than anything. The special fried rice was just like boil in the bag rice. Chicken wings was soggy not crispy. Would not reccomend and would not order again.

we ordered chicken fried rice. I'd say it was overcooked or re- heated. we have better from this company. sadly .. won't be ordering again. Also delivery guts don't come to your door.

Food was tastless bland special fried rice. Chicken satay skewers was in water sauce. Deep fried beef was dry might as well ate dried cereal. Don’t know if it’s been took over

Disappointed tonight with our order, everything was overpowering with salt not good at all! Had so many good meals here such a shame as next time may have to go elsewhere.

I ordered a little before 20:35pm and the estimated time was supposed to be at 21:15 pm. A little around that time, I got a message saying it would be late and it would come around 21:35-21:55pm. Not only did it say on the app that it has already been delivered at 21:55, the delivery didn't even come then. It came at 22:20. We sent a message through the app for an update and we never recieved one. The food was extremely dissapointing and underseasoned, I do not recommned at all save your money.

Ordered to collect and the food was ready bang on time. This is my first time easting from here and in my opinion it's by far the best Chinese takeaway this side of Rochdale. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Ordered at 1830pm delivered at 2050 this is unacceptable. No way to run a takeaway like that. Will not order from here again

The food was shocking. The hot and sour soup was the worst I've ever had, neither hot nor sour. The rice was under cooked and hard and the Szechuan was bland and the meats were tough and chewy. Most of it ended up in the bin. Won't be ordering from there again!

Fish chips and peas, very poor fish, was in some sort of crumbly batter which was rank. we've had chinese from here before and its been good, so maybe it was a one off.

Beef was poor quality and chewy. Crispy chicken had no flavour. Had the throw the majority of the food away. Noodles and fried rice were ok First and last time ordering from here.

Wow, where do I even start with China Garden? I went in expecting something nice, especially after reading some decent reviews, but what a letdown! The food was just so bland. Seriously, it was like they forgot how to use spices – except for salt, of course, because everything was loaded with it. It felt like they were trying to hide something with all that salt. And don’t get me started on the texture – it was as dry as the Sahara. Plus, there was this weird aftertaste with everything we tried. Even the BBQ ribs weren’t really BBQ. They were just... odd. I mean, you'd expect some nice smoky flavour, right? Nope, not here. The worst part? This whole disappointing meal set us back £45. That's right, £45 to feel completely nauseated. It's like they don't deserve the money we paid. Honestly, I've read some reviews saying the place used to be good, but it seems like they've really gone downhill recently. Well, they've lost me as a customer. This was both my first and last time visiting. I left feeling totally furious. For that price, I expected something edible at least. So, yeah, if you're thinking of trying out China Garden, maybe think again. There are way better places out there that won't leave you feeling ripped off and nauseous.

Everything was really good apart from the noodles! Do not order 'dry style! ' We couldn't believe what we were given!

Been to this takeaway about 5 times when it was supposed to be open according to Google and was shut every time, todays trip I was greated by not a open takeaway but a huge rat sat at the back door won't be trying it again

I'm really sad to leave this review as I love China garden I order from here alot but unfortunately this time it was disgusting, undercooked inedible food, watery sweet and sour chicken with no flavour, we threw most of it in the bin, I'd also like to mention how disappointed iam with the customer service I received, I tried to contact them regarding this issue hoping for a refund or a voucher just something to compensate me but no apparently that doesn't come under just eats policy, absolutely ridiculous I'm sorry to say I will not be ordering from here again.

Kept checking to see where order was, and the menu showed delivered and enjoy your meal. Sadly no meal had been delivered. Went out to street and saw the courier coming up the hill on foot having delivered to wrong address. At least he apologised, which I accepted!

Food is brilliant, but before placing my order the delivery time was 45 minutes. As soon as my order had been accepted, delivery time went up to 1hour 30 mins (with a 20 minute window) and it was still late.

Usually this place is very good , but today the prawn toast didn’t have ANY form of prawn , it was just sesame toast , and the Singapore fried rice was weird the rice was extra large in size and tasted weird , shame as it’s usually really good
