Hot and sour soup, special chow mein, shredded beef really good

My first order from here tonight and I am so impressed! Food was piping hot and absolutely loads of it! Also free prawn crackers and mini spring rolls. I'm definitely putting this place at number one on my list for Chinese take away xx

Advertising on uber eats but they just cancel the order. Looking at reviews the food doesn’t seem great so we likely dodged a bullet. It’s also pretty expensive to (at least on uber eats).

I can’t say this Chinese is horrible because It didn’t taste of anything. I’ve had lots of Chinese food in my life I’ve never tasted anything so bland. I hate putting a bad review but I really can’t recommend this Chinese if you like Chinese food.

Menu has changed. No Smoked Shredded chicken on the appetisers. Egg noodles now has bean sprouts and onions in, curry sauce is spicier and satay sauce isn’t as nutty. The chicken fried rice and crispy beef is chilli sauce is still nice. Really disappointed the menu has changed 😢

Has recently changed management. Before this change i could not fault this takeaway. there was never a question of where we were going to order from but not im not sure we will order from here again. Starters are below average, and prawn crackers are soggy. Was very disappointed when it arrived.

The takeaway was late due to it been delivered to the wrong address. Delivered to 186 brownroyd Hill road instead of 180. Luckily we have very good neighbours who brought to us.

Food wasn't upto standard, the schezuan duck was all gristle and fat and hardly actual meat. The chips were soggy, and the ok chicken gave my husband a bad stomach. Almost £30 spent on this and was not edible.

Nicest Chinese I've had in ages. The chicken balls were nice & crisp without excess oil as were the vegi rolls.

Food was bland and I’ve ordered from quite a few Chinese takeaways and know what a chicken satay should look and taste like and this was not that.. it had no vegetables, there was barely any sauce and it was watered down! I couldn’t eat it!

Food was great however I ordered a 1.5l bottle of Diet Coke and received a 330ml can - bit of a rip off for £3.50….

Absolute garbage. No flavour at all even the curry sauce couldn't save it. Salt and pepper chicken and chips. Wouldn't have then given never mind pay nearly £15 for them. Most of it went in the bin!

The chips were old and dry the noodles were too soft and the chicken was too chewy

So the portion size was very small and it was not sealed in just eat bag ect,was just a plastic bag that was open when it arrived so felt like someone had been into my food? Not happy

Wonderful food. Not been for a while, but the standards are still up there! Very reasonably priced considering the current economic climate. Menu is extensive, with a lot of options that I haven't found anywhere else. Would highly recommend

The food was awful the chips wasn’t even salt and pepper just chips with onions , the beef and tomatoes was like water with no flavour at all to it , the rice was all clumped toget and just boiled rice like awful sticky rice and the noodles had no flavour at all I couldn’t even eat it it went in the bin wast of money

Not sure if they have changed the chef in this place but the food we ordered recently was terrible. The 2 mains had no flavour or seasoning. The starters were luke warm. Won't be ordering again...

Wow £16.90 spent on food I wouldn't give to my dog appalling place . Cold Malaysian crispy chicken 8 pieces and cold curried spring rolls . PLACE NEEDS SHUTTING DOWN IF THATS THE QUALITY THEY THINK IS ACCEPTABLE.

Food was good. After it was 20mins late, I called - told it would be another 25-30mins. What?! Food showed up 5mins later proving that I was lied to AND the food was late. I'll pass in future.

Fantastic quality. The dry special fried rice was exceptional (even prawns and what looked like duck in there, good flavor, nice portion size too) and the sweet and sour was excellent. The crab soup was great. Chinese food is usually expensive, what can you do. At least the quality was held to a high classic standard, for which they have my respect.

We've had a takeaway here several times. Unfortunately, I noticed a difference in the quality of the food when the main guy isn't taking the phone orders . When it's the other guy who has a strong accent on the phone, for me I think the food isn't up to the same quality as the main guy. All staff are friendly and ready to take your order. The food us generally ready when they say it will be.

The food was terrible, my noodles were BURNT and tasteless. I asked them Hot, and they weren’t spicy at all. The portion of the chicken was tiny, absolutely not worthy for the money. The order came even late!!!

Portions are now tiny - not value for money. Food was okay but the Chow Mein has NO sauce and thus is dry and tasteless. Order was 20 mins early - delivery driver said 'At least it's not late' - which is pretty useless as the people who would be eating the food weren't due until the time the food was supposed to come.

The food tastes great I like the chow mein only gripe I have is the size of the meat portion in it I get the special chowmein and the meat and prawns are very tiny my hubby loves the chop suey like I said food tastes great so I guess that's all that matters

Normally love the food from here but it was really disappointing today. Salt & pepper chicken was just a box full of chicken & onions and the salt & pepper chips was normal chips with loads of onions again. Just salty with onions. Stirfry Mushroom & green chilli with kashew nuts was really watery with about 3 kashew nuts in.

Vegataboe curry was watered down very tasteless and seemed like it had been warmed in previously I have felt poorly since eating this food and will not be ordering again I have tried to gega refund but this app is simply shocking for support or easy use I feel they put obstacles in iur paths so we can't persu refunds.

Food was cold, portions have shrunk, price's increased, and the sweet and sour had no flavour.

S&P Chips were a tiny portion and half cold, curry was flavourless and the duck was a quarter of a quarter portion. Will order elsewhere next time. Dissatisfied considering costing over 30 quid

My usual takeaway shop has disappeared from Just Eat so I tried China Garden and prefer it to my usual place. Will definitely be ordering from them again.

very quick delivery but only ordered ribs, chips, fried rice and onion rings and was absolutley lush piping hot food, my always go to takeaway for chinese food deffo recommend the quality of food they serve and china garden should be on max stars for always delivering reastaurant food quality at takeaway prices thank you chef/chefs for a lovely meal

This is not the first time ordering but will definitely be our last. Spent nearly £40 and most of it went in the bin. The pancake rolls were just filled with bean sprouts and nothing else, the crispy beef was average and didn’t really taste of much. The duck was okay. The only nice thing was the salt n pepper chips. So disappointed and still hungry! Not what you want when you’ve ordered food 👎👎👎👎

I waited over 2 hours for my food

My order is late, ive been trying to call the restaurant and just keep getting voicemail, so cannot even contact them to find out whats going on and it says the restaurant closes in 20 minutes, leaving this on here as hoping they will see it and contact me back to let me no what is going on.

210 minutes order took to come when I tried phoning only once out of the ten times attempted did they answered the guy on phone was very apologetic but still doesn't make it right, when order came unfortunately it was wrong they send rib instead of chicken wings and I asked for no onion which it looked like they added extra.

Very big disappointment… spend £30 for 2 hot&sour soups, 2x chow mein, portions of salt&pepper wings and honey&chilli pork… what can i say, BLEND TASTE,FOOD NOT EVEN SALTED AT ALL,SOUPS WERE WATERY WITHOUT ANY TASTE,HONEY PORK PORTION WAS MORE OF ONION IN HONEY&CHILLI SAUCE,CHOW MEIN WERE DRY, not sure where all these positive reviews coming from or it was just our bad luck that chefs had a bad day..but first and last time we have ordered from here. Very suprised it ended up like that as this takeaway was recommendation from my very good friend and he said his food was great…If i didn’t had beer at home i would drive there and return the food. Not joking now but soups ended up in bin,i had a little bit of my chow mein and my missus didn’t even touch the “pork” more of onion in chilli/honey sauce..

gorgeous bbq ribs plenty of meat and lush sauce, partner loved her chow mien but received dry instead of sauce don't recall an option for dry or wet so put that down to my error the thai red char siu was a bit disapointing it had broccoli in which i'm alergic too so dogs enjoyed the roast pork it smelt nice though, the egg fried rice was lush the chips was as good as homestyle chips you have as a child, the onion rings was huge and proper chinese style batter but was cold but you cant expect to get everything piping hot delivered to your doorstep so overall still giving 6 stars shame i couldn't try my char siu curry because of the broccoli but least my puppies enjoyed it

I placed the order in at 7:45, and the estimated time of arrival was 8:50-9:15, it got to 9:20 I called them up, they said an extra 20 minutes. the actual arrival time was 10:00 the food was barely warm the only thing that could be considered close to hot was the pancake rolls, the duck i ordered was mainly pure fat and mostly inedible, i will not be ordering from there again as it was all a waste of money but worst of all my kids didnt even eat most of it because it was lukewarm and barely any meat to actually eat
