Took 2hours for delivery even though on the website it said an hour!! Then they got part of the order wrong was so hungry I couldn’t be bothered to complain. I’ve eaten from here before and not had a problem hopefully it was just a one off. The delivery driver apologised for the delay which was something

I had a horrible meal from this place last night. I only ordered beef chow mein, curry sauce and a spring roll. I am giving a score of one because the spring roll was edible but quite oily and the beef in the chow mein was quite good. However, the noodles had a sweet taste to them. The curry sauce though was extremely sweet, and seemed overloaded with sugar, it was simply gruesome. I didn't contact the shop as it was late, it had been a long tiring day and didn't want to go through the hassle of getting it replaced. This was the first and last time of us getting food from here.

Usually love this place for Chinese but my partner ordered a chicken and mushroom soup and there were two lumps of something in the soup that were not chicken - doesn’t put me off ordering from here as normally it’s amazing but I feel the feedback is needed as whatever that was it was not nice and put her off her whole dinner

I order from here all the time but the latest delivery driver should look for a new job. Your on camera shaking your head and looking fed up and just handing over the food. Shame as i did use this restaurant alot but no more after that

Our usual Chinese was shut so thought we’d try this one.. big mistake. Food was late, extremely bland and barely warm. 0/10 couldn’t pay me to eat there again.

Generally food is fantastic from this place. The duck is usually superb. Tonight though it was not served whole for us to shred, it came pre-done and was nowhere near as good. Shame, it’s one of our favourites.

All food was good, also fairly hot .. would order again. Only thing we didn’t get was prawn crackers and with other chinese takeout you always get them with your order so that’s was all .

First of all the order was over 30 mins late after the estimated delivery time. I do understand that they could be busy but at least answer the call or if you are running really late, call your customers to let them know of the delay. Chow Mein was over cooked and very greasy with layer of oil sitting at the bottom of the food packing. If I wanted a stir-fried beansprouts and mushroom, that's what I would have ordered not mushroom chop suey. But I would have over looked this as I do like beansprouts and mushroom and I would have eaten it. Unfortunately I had to binned this dish. As, as soon as I opened the container it smelled like and tasted like they have added mud to it. It was not a pleasant experience.

Very pleased with quality and quantity. Price reasonable. Delivery good . Overall I would recommend.

Delivery time was well over an hour when the restaurant is less than a mile away. It did however arrive 15 mins before their estimated time.

Really bad food, extra cooked, i have placed my order at 18:33, for 20:00, i have received at 20:27. After long time waiting i was disappointing with the food, (I'm a fan chinese food) Never order again, paying about 20.00£ for nothing

The food was hot and very tasty and delivered early. However there was one big disappointment. I ordered Mushroom Foo Yung (my favourite) but Chicken Foo Yung was delivered. If it was a substition it would have been nice to have been consulted first. If it was an error then I would suggest there shoild be a bit more attention to detail.

Most of the food was nice but the salt and pepper squid was overcooked and really dry and the satay sauce didn't taste of satay sauce at all.

I always been ordering from them and was good food but tonight who was the chef???he spiced all the food ; noddle ,rice ...everything was hard to eat as was extra extra hot and only the prawns meant to be spicy not all the dishes.....very disappointed never will order again.....last year was the best chef always food was good ....chef lost his skills during covid...🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤢🤢🤢🤢

Either food was not finished either some mistake was made. Out of all ordered items only 2 were edible. The rest of items did not had any taste, missing salt or flavour, except starch. It looked unfinished food and went to the bin. Wasted money. Never order again.

Some of the food wasn’t very appetising, prawns in the wontons were very chewy and not how wonton dumplings are expected to be. Delivery was amazing but the food let it down a little bit.

Every thing with my meal was great except the mixed sea food dish was a real let down it had 4 king prawn a a wered long squid tentacle thing and way to much vegetables . It was more like a can't be bothered dish probly won't order again coz of that one meal .

This is the biggest joke of a place to exist food never even turns up staff are rude and don’t care there are plenty more reviews on google the same. Stay away!!

I don't veey often order from here but i think will be my new favourite Chinese. Really nice food, food was earlier than stated but I didn't check by how much. Driver was really nice, checked that this was the correct house & I had indeed ordered Chinese which is great. Rice was hot and the box full, the beef was crispy (my usual place was hit of miss). Mini spring rolls perfect. I'll definitely order again from here, my usual has increased their costs & their delivery fee also increased and was far too much - they're not too far from me but even so, given the distance so their loss will be China Gardens gain. I can't wait to try more of their food.

Ordered my food at 6.20pm and I received my food at 9.35pm. This order was only for 2 people so only contained 5 dishes. When we tried calling the restaurant over 20 times not once did they answer. The food was really nice which is a shame as the overall experience of my order being over 2 hours late just ruined it.

Ordered food and was given an arrival time of 7.20pm. At 7.50pm nothing had arrived, I was unable to contact the restaurant by phone so tried to cancel the order. Then at 8.10pm I was told the food would be with me at 9.05pm. As nothing else was open I accepted this but asked for some money back. At 9.05pm still nothing had arrived again I was unable to get in contact with the restaurant. The food finally arrived at 9.30pm over 3 hours late and the restaurant have refused any kind of refund.

Food was 20 minutes. When it arrived it was slightly warm. Not good.

I know it was New Year’s Eve and they had an extraordinary amount of orders but my order went in at 5.50, my expected delivery time was 7.20, at 8 I tried to contact by phone to chase or cancel the order but after 15 minutes of continually trying I gave up. I went through just eat and got a new delivery time of 9.20. The food arrived at 10 in the end. 4 hours late was bad enough but the lack of communication and not being able to cancel was even less acceptable, we will not be using this restaurant again

We ordered for New Years Eve expecting it to be busy but had to wait four hours before our delivery arrived!! We had no communication from the restaurant and assumed it wasn’t coming so ordered something else so have now lost out. The food was tasty but there was no customer service and nobody who orders their food at 6.20 wants it to arrive at 10.30.

Almost 3 hour wait. Twice it said it was delivered, no answer when we tried to call. Eventually I had to drive down to the restaurant and see what was happening with the order. The order was still in the que apparently so who knows how long it would’ve taken if I hadn’t gone there. The owner had no interest in trying to make things better for us. A very bad experience for our hungry and tired children and not one we will be having again that’s for sure !

Worse Night Ever Waiting over 2 and a half hours for some Chinese food. No apology, no food, arguing with me, won’t take the blame, over 200 orders in one night. Sums up 2020.

I ordered my dinner at 7.30 it is now 21.51 I still don’t have dinner. Thank you lot for spoiling my new year. I’m going to be with no food as I have to be up at 4 for work as I’m a key worker. I want a full refund in my bank my the morning. Ever will I order again from Michelle wragg

Order is currently 2 and a half hours late and still no sign of turning up. No response from restaurant after contacting just eat. Restaurant phone line unavailable. Really disappointed, doesn’t look like they’re bothered about customer service and it appears we have been charged for food that doesn’t turn up

Didn’t get updated about our order at all. No apology by the delivery driver. Food was warm so needed heating up but was tasty.

Ordered at 6.00pm told will be delivered at 7.15pm still hasn’t arrived at 9pm the number is constantly engaged now its showing its been delivered! Now all Chinese Takeaways are saying they are not taking orders so have now ordered good old fish & chips!

Had to ring the restaurant after waiting 35 minutes passed the time it said it would arrive, they said another 30 minutes that they hadn't cooked it yet, then waiting another 40 minutes.

Ordered at 17:58. Delayed to 19:25. Now no contact from this app, the restaurant is inundated with phone calls, and the “robot” on this app has advised I call the restaurant (or if I’d like to talk to customer services I can wait with 2027 other happy customers before I can speak with anyone to cancel my order). Understandable that it’s busy on New Years but if you can’t handle the orders, don’t take them!!

Over an hour and when we tried to ring every time it went offhook I asked the driver if he could pass feed back on as I tried to phone 50 times over hour late turned up food was good but service terrible

We order the food at 8pm, estimated arrival time 9pm and finally arrived at 10:15pm. If the restaurant unable to take all the order, they should concider to update the awaiting time or make a note to avoid disappointment.

Called after 40 minutes of it being over the delivery time and the guy said that the order hadn’t even been cooked yet. Will not be ordering from here again

We have had nothing but good food from this restaurant and normally good service. This order, the experience was very different. As well as being 30 mins late, we had ordered 3 portions of crispy duck and they arrive luke warm and with no hoisin sauce- clearly this is a massive mistake. So our meal was delayed by a further 20 mins as I had to ring the restaurant to ask them to send the sauce. Not good experience at all.

Would like to be able to write a good review for the food but currently still awaiting it's arrival, nearly an hour late and no update from the restaurant as to why! Even when requested by the app for an update as to my order and it's whereabouts nothing was received.

Tasty food, very good communication with the driver!

Delivered to wrong address first. No flavour at all, too greasy, under cooked onions and to many of them. I could have made it better myself.

The sweet and sour was sticky and compact the pork was not fresh the noodles was bit burned for the price I paid it’s a pity
