Dank food, lovely ribs, chicken and spring rolls. Big ups!!

Food is amazing and never got disappointed with Chinese food. Should try chicken noodles, mixed non veg fried rice(excluding beef and pork). These are food items are amazing.

The ribs came in an awful state, somehow burnt and slightly undercooked. I had the chicken balls and have since been dealing with a dodgy tummy

Ordered last night as decided to have something tasty. Beef kung po and sweet&sour beef. Got delivery in about 30min. Just opened and that smell I won’t forget. Like a cats poo. Beef kung po didn’t even tried. Another beef was like a stone could manage to eat. Binned both. Never ever again.

Never received my full order which I paid extra for and on the description it states that the dish comes with chips and they don’t!

Worst Chinese Iv ever had wish I’d of read the google reviews before hand, salt and pepper ribs have no bone and are literally just pieces of fat. Chicken in rice tastes like it days old and been reheated didn’t even dare eat it after a mouthful

Came in late evening with my mate, she ordered a cheeseburger meal if i remember correctly and ate it all, so im assuming she enjoyed it. Whereas, i just got a box of donner meat, as it had been yeara since i last got it. I ate it, taste was diff, like a diff recipe. Anyway, we all had some. Next day, i got pain in my stomach, had diarrhea, so did my mate. Never again

Amazing, been ordering for a few years. Never disappoints. Extremely consistent good food. Very fast delivery. Tried Chow mein, crispy beef, orange chicken, chips and curry sauce all top notch. Highly recommend!

Such nice food and the lovely guy behind the counter let me take home some birthday cake. Very quick too.

The fried rice was good, it taste decent and I like the fact that it opens until late. If I was hungry at night and everything is closed I would eat here again.

WARNING DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. The menu looked great on uber eats. I should have read the reviews prior to ordering!! Very lovely delivery driver, and that's as good as it gets. Crabmeat and sweetcorn soup. What could go wrong with that. It's normally a fairly clear or opaque colour, this was a dubious beige. Had a couple of mouthfulls, not good. It had some kind of spices that did not sit well with the fish. Ribs burned, fatty tasteless, waste of money. Spring rolls, soggy, tasteless. Prawn toast, thin and overcooked, full of oil and no flavour. Chicken satay. A liquid that resembles dirty dish water. Sweet spicy and very nasty. Not a peanut in sight. Not sure what meat this is, but not convinced it's chicken. With delivery this was just shy of £20 for one person. That money can and does make at least four meals. Completely wasted my money. Please, please, please don't waste your time and money ordering from this take away.

Lovely food! The beef was soft and tender with ginger and spring onions, salt and pepper squid was full of flavour and the pancake rolls were the best I’ve had. Not oily at all and really crispy😊

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING EVERY SINGLE TIME! Ordered 30+ times always spend £50-£60 always so nice, quick and the foods absolutely banging! Never eat from any Chinese i dont like especially since my partner has chicken curry and chicken you need to be careful with , but every time its always been better then we could’ve even wanted ! Dont know if its cause we order regular or what? But its always been a 10/10 for me and the rest of my family!

Thank you China Dinner for the best Chinese that I’ve had in Leeds. Delicious and speedy service. Food came piping hot and with good portions, food is quite cheap but fantastic value for money. Prawn Singapore vermicelli was lovely as was everything else ordered. Definitely be ordering again.

The food came relatively quickly and the guy on the phone as well as the delivery driver were nice... I got the simple classic chicken balls and chips with sweet & sour sauce and well it's been a few days and I'm feeling really unwell, I think I may have mild food poisoning I wont lie. Just be careful what you order from there I guess.

Fantastic service, we always order from these guys as our local Chinese and only one time was something not 100% right and they replaced it instantly and even gave us free drinks to compensate, thank you guys for your professionalism

Just ordered from here through just eat, the delivery was on time and food was hot hence the 2 stars, but the food was poor to middling chicken was dry not much but beef (I think) in the special fried rice, curry sauce was ok , chips where ok but surprisingly the prawn crackers where excellent they where the best bit, disappointing to say the least

Not at all like a Chinese I have ever had, nearly 2 hrs on delivery, meat in the curry was like mash, awful Won't be ordering from there again. Only ordered from there as it was the only place open

Awful food. Arrived cold, had no flavour and noodles weren't even cooked. Chicken had black bits in it and I've had a stomach ache ever since. Threw the rest away, I'll never be ordering again.

Ha christ I wish I checked the Google reviews before ordering. Somehow they are masquerading as a real Chinese restaurant on uber eats with 4 stars. Anyone reviewing this place above 3 works for the restaurant simple as that. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE. Luckily didn't have any hair like some of the horror stories on here. But incredibly late and simply horrible food. Salt pepper chicken tasted like a fossil. Black bean sause I couldn't even eat due to the smell emmenating from it. Can't even be arsed to try get money back after reading what numpties they are.

DONT EVER ORDER FROM HERE!!! Order didn't even arrive then when contacted and queried where it was they straight up lied and said they'd come to the address (they hadn't at all). Said they'd send food out again "in 10 minutes". Rang back half an hour later and asked for a cancellation and refund as I didn't want re-heated food as my partner is pregnant. They rudely said ring just eat. When contacting just eat this discusting restaurant denied authorisation over a full refund meaning Just eat cannot refund us. Then got back in touch "China Dinner" who acted innocent and that they would sort it out with just eat. Getting back into contact with just eat this fraud of a restaurant lied again saying that they'd delivered the food making it harder for just eat to refund us. Baring in mind the refund is a whopping sum of 16 pound. Absolute robbing scumbags.

The food arrived 2 hours late.. Over 3 hours after ordering it. I turned it away as I had cooked while waiting and I wasn't going to eat food that had been languishing in a plastic bag for 2 hours. I couldn't even chase up the order as they didn't answer the phone (I let it ring out 5 times) I'm going to try and get a refund through just eat but I'm not hopeful as this is clearly a badly run business

Half the order didn't arrive. The mushrooms were suspect and my mate had a hair in his sweet and sour chicken. Very poor.

SAVE YOUR MONEY! DON'T ORDER HERE! Ordered over the phone, menu promised a 10% discount we got nothing! Found multiple strands of hair in every container of food. The salt and pepper chips were soft and barely seasoned. My friend couldn't eat her Kung Po chicken because of the number of hairs in it and her chicken was under cooked. The noodles that she ordered to go with it were dry and cold. The chow mein was bland and tasteless. The special fried rice should be renamed to mediocre fried rice! Prawn crackers seemed to be made of cardboard and oil. Uni students, don't be fooled by the professional looking menu! This place has a 2/5 health review - it really deserves a 1!

DON'T ORDER FROM CHINA DINNER - SIMPLY SAVE YOUR MONEY! My flatmates and I thought we would have a Chinese takeaway night, what a disappointment our food from China Dinner was! We went with them for the 10% discount when ordering over the phone, but this was never subtracted from our order. We spent just over £35 between us and it was the worst takeaway I have ever had, and I come from a place with Chinese SO BAD that I didn't like it until a year ago! There was black hair in both mine and my flatmates food! The kung po chicken was tasteless, the chicken was cut poorly and of poor quality, no taste in it at all. The noodles accompanying it were dry and tasted awful. My flatmates meals were also described to me as being disgusting - and (!!!) the prawn crackers were vile, so oily! Absolutely disgusting! ALSO: the salt and pepper chips had no crisp to them at all and were coated in CINNAMON?!

Their low glycemic ho fun (large flat rice noodles) are always perfectly tasting and filling. This is one place for ho fun for those committed to a low glycemic or slow release diet!!! Why are they always late to deliver tho? And what's with their chicken? Why are the pieces always so stuff? Do they assume that only drunks order in the twilight hours and therefore won't be able to tell?

Food arrived in good time and really hot. Excellent service and great food at a reasonable price. Good choice on menu something for everyone.

Ordered from this establishment one late night. Spent a total of £68! The food was exceptionally poor! There was no drinks sent ( as was agreed when ordered) . The menu stated you get a 10% discount on telephone orders...but no discount was applied. Everyone who ordered said the meal was terrible, and it had to be wasted. Please save your money and order elsewhere!

VILE. microwaved food cooked from days ago. Unknown substance in a veg chow mein. Dry and freezing cold. Undercooked chicken balls. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE.

DON'T EAT HERE. Terrible, awful food - by far the worst i've ever had the misfortune of paying for. Nasty old dried up chicken must've been cooked days ago and reheated tonight. The prawns tasted like they'd turned. All the sauces very bland and the rice very dry. Four mains and two sides ordered - none edible. This place received a one star hygiene rating from the Food Standards Agency in November 2017. Things clearly have not improved, so I expect they'll be shut down at their next inspection. They clearly aren't any good at cooking or kitchen management. Yuck.

Ordered a takeaway from hear last night. The food came 20 mins late. And it was frozen. It was cold as ice. Didn't bother eating the food as I didn't want to kill my self. Worst food ever. Looked like it was taken out off the freezer and put into containers and delivered to me. I paid £22 for my order. I asked for a refund and the person I spoke to told me that he can't give me a refund. I wish the takeaway closes down and never opens again. I hope if anyone orders from there checks the food before they eat it. For their own safety.

The chicken balls gave me food poisoning. This restaurant is rated 4/5 on just eat yet 1.7 on here? There is clearly something wrong here.

Absolutely disgraceful service! Ordered food and 3/4 of the order was wrong and came 20 minutes late! Rang to get our actual order and they informed us it would be another 10 minutes. An hour later we ring and they insured that they had delivered 20 minutes later. A third phonceall later, they said it would be another 10 minutes and a further 30 mins later we are still waiting for our food, 3 1/2 hours after we first ordered. Do not order from here!

Terrible food, shocking service, wouldn't eat there even if it was the only place on earth to eat. Should be a half star.. Far more superior restaurants out there forget about this ONE!!!

I would begin by saying what I thought of the food, but even after 3 times calling them asking for our order, we were not given it, because the Chinese and Thai restaurant had 'no noodles init' I bet the owner of China Dinner cheats on his wife like he cheats every single unsuspecting customer who buys their flavourless slop. I would rather lick urine off a stinging nettle than order from China Dinner again. Don't be fooled by their 4* star reviews on hungry house, superfan customer or more likely bullied staff member 'Ian' seems to be doing a good job of keeping up the rep writing 90% of the 400 reviews. I bet their OK sauce is not ok. But what would we know?? No food, 3 different excuses, an incompetant manager who refused to speak to us or give us food and apparently our job to call hungry house and get a refund. Their rude staff could not give a spring roll about customer service. Petition to get China Dinner off Hungry House coming soon. PS Also why is it not called China Diner? Peace

Quite an interesting little restaurant with its own unique version of asianised dishes. Prices are reasonable but if you're not a camel be prepared to fork out $8 for a bottle of mineral water. The venue is basic but take a reading light if you are not a natural night owl. Worth a visit but it is unlikely it will get a repeat visit.

Staying in the ibis Leeds i fancied a curry.I phoned the china dinner who delivered a really nice Thai green curry.They delivered to my hotel within thirty minutes.Thanks for your good service, i will use you again.

Hotel Restaurant had closed for the night but they offered a long list of take-away menus I asked the hotel receptionist for recommendation which was China Dinner. Delivery took just over the 30 minutes they said. Prawn Singapore noodles was delicious.

The squid was cremated. It was disgusting. Never again

I wouldnt even want to give these people 1 star tbh, the customer services is REPULSIVE. 1st of all they didnt didnt deliever the food when i ordered it and were extremely rude when i asked where my food was, secondly the next day after been rude again and trying to charge me an additional 2 pound for re-delivery... even though it was not even originally delivered!!!... then when the food came i threw it in the bin it was not securely closed and the food (special chow mein) was cold and soggy, so much so that i could not even bring myself to try it.... You people are vile and i will NEVER order from you again. I adamantly advise others not to eat from this horrendous establishment!!!!

Waited an hour for a call off my driver, who then couldn't find my flat despite me giving several postcodes of surrounding areas, he hung up and wouldn't answer my calls. Rang restaurant and he'd given up, order was redispacted and eventually arrived two hours late. First driver was incredibly rude on the phone, clearly has no satnav or knowledge of Leeds city centre

Food was hot but chips looked like they had been warmed up and the noodles were water logged so wasn't very nice. Delivery time was spot on.

Always order this and it's sooo good but the last order they forgot my coke.

First of all, I ordered at 21:26 and the food was prepared, cooked and in my hand at 21:40. Take from that what you will. Is the food pre cooked? Or are they just THAT quick. However my order was noodles so I probably just got lucky on this occasion. The food was average on this occasion. Fairly bland and uninventive. Having had a long standing relationship over around 20 orders, I will not be returning to China Diner (which it should be called instead of Dinner), thanks for the memories x

Pleasantly surprised when the food came half an hour early. Unfortunately I ordered the duck in plum sauce and I got what appeared and tasted like a pineapple sauce.. It was very yellow and littered with pineapples. I assumed that they had got my order mixed up with the duck and pineapple dish that was on the menu. I rang up and a staff member said they don't have a pineapple sauce and that their duck sauce is brown and has pineapples in it. My dish was definitely bright yellow and the man was quite rude and not helpful at all. Perhaps that is their 'duck in plum sauce' dish however I couldn't find any hint of a plum flavour. On top of that the duck itself had more fat on than meat. Disappointed.

Super greasy chow mein (you could taste the grease when you breathe in after a mouthful), over-cooked prawn toast, chicken curry was watery & flavourless and the salt and pepper battered prawns still had half their shells on under the batter. Very disappointed.

Ordered food and it came within good time to start with but with the boiled rice missing. We rang the takeaway to ask for the boiled rice to be sent and also for a sweetcorn soup. The boiled rice and soup then took around 25-30mins to arrive and when it did come, we were given chicken and sweetcorn soup! Not appreciated by a vegetarian! We were also charged for this soup which, considering our order was wrong in the first place should probably have been offered to us for free. We also asked the driver his name so we could make a complaint to which he replied "I don't have one"

First time I've never had a takeaway turn up. Waited over 2 hours. Had to contact Just Eat for a refund!

The food was fantastic and the time it came was brilliant and there's nothing I can fault food wise. However again the delivery driver has just sat in the car at the bottom of the drive and called so we've had to come outside and collect our food. He didn't even bother getting out when he saw I was coming. Just opened the window and handed me the food. Quite rude to say he's the 'front of the shop' really.

A usually really good meal, was a bit burnt today and a bit greasy but it was edible

First time ordered but will not be the last!! Best crispy duck and pancakes I have ever had, next time I will be sure to add extra pancakes :) . Delivery was fast and food was hot. It's taken almost 1 year and 5 trials of other Chinese takeaway to find a good one... I have now finally found a VERY GOOD ONE! Thank you China Dinner!

Food came early, pretty good, just got basic egg fried rice and prawn crackers plus some curry. Curry was nice, as was the rice. Although, the prawn crackers were a let down, thin and tasted of oil, many of them were also not cooked properly. Would order again.

Happy with everything apart from the King Prawn Thai green curry is advertised as mild but was far hotter than the previous Thai green curries we have ordered from the takeaway so we were unable to eat it. Rang up and asked them to replace it with another dish and they brought it round free of charge very quickly and apologised for the inconvenience.
