Cute little place. It’s great to have an Indian restaurant near by. However, it was a bit disappointed with the blend food. The korma was too sweet without much flavour. The fact that the ‘paneer’ was cheddar cheese was something extremely alien to me. Also, the batter from the pakoras was too heavy and for some reason, equally sweet(?)

Could not find house - called then just gave up so I had to call restaurant - food arrived late and cold and not stored in a thermal bag

We have been coming to this wonderful restaurant for many years, as a couple or with the whole family. We have always been made most welcome. My husband and I went for our anniversary meal on the 6/6/24 the food was absolutely gorgeous as always. I had veg pakoras as my starter, then chicken makon with pilau rice, my husband had chicken tikka starter then chicken balti with rice and a naan bread, we had poppadoms as an appetiser. It was all cooked to perfection, smelt and tasted wonderful. The customer service is perfect, lovely friendly staff, nothing is ever a trouble. We highly recommend this authentic Bangladeshi and Indian restaurant in the heart of our village of Banwell every time to everyone. Thank you so much for making our evening very special. The prices are also extremely reasonable we had the Thursday special starter and main menu at £16.95 each and added a few extras. The portions are very good, in fact so good I couldn’t eat all mine, a take home bag is available if you require it, can’t wait until we go again. 💜

I always order from here food is always amazing. Delivery is always on time. Today is was 45mins late after ringing twice it eventually got here but not really acceptable. Also lettuce in salad was brown.

Really nice experience dining here with our two children. The restaurant had a warm and traditional atmosphere, very clean, and the service was great. The chicken in our korai was tender, break apart moist and the food delicious. The outside curb appeal isn’t great but the inside a pleasant surprise. We were travelling and it made for a wonderful pick-me up for our tired children. I would highly recommend.

Found by accident - fantastic food very attentive staff

We rang the restaurant 20 minutes before arrival, to say that we are keen to try their food. They accommodated us (8 of us) 1 hour before closing. Superb work ethic from staff! The atmosphere was a brilliant and authentic Indian atmosphere. The boss/waiter was 'top notch' with his patience in dealing with new customers like us. Lastly, the food was brilliant. I have 2 picky children! None of them complained, and they managed to clean their plates! Amazing people. I wish you more success at your business. Love from Cornwall.

Happy Birthday To Me! Ordered a take away on a mid month Tuesday for my birthday. My usual curry house has closed and I have tried 4/5 others over the past view months and wasn’t blown away. I am SO pleased to have found Chillies. Food was generously sized, tasty, well spiced, fresh (mid week) and delivered quickly and hot. We’ve found our new place.

To celebrate my birthday we went there last night for dinner. It was the best dinner so far. But we were very hungry and forgot to take pictures first😁 We Googled the best Bangladeshi restaurants and found them. After reading lots of positive reviews, decided to go there. It was so satisfying and worth driving. The evening countryside view was incredible! The best deshi food ever in this area! Fresh and delicious! We enjoyed the food, music and environment. Very clean, well organised and well decorated! They were dedicated and polite to everyone. We love everything about this restaurant and decided to give them a big THANKS❤️

Had a lovely takeaway here. Staff were polite and friendly. Large portions. Staff are all knowledgeable about the sauces and ask if you want the heat of the curry adjusted for a better dining experience.

I enjoyed a romantic evening here with my partner and we weren't disappointed. Chillies really does cook some beautiful food. Inspite the fact that it's hidden away in the back streets of Banwell, it really is very popular, and I can see why. The service was excellent. We were waited on patiently, (we really took out time) and served within minutes of making our order. Our waiter was very polite and made sure we were comfortable. My only moan was the level of noise. I guess people just like to talk loudly sometimes. Either way, Chillies is a restaurant you really should visit. I had the Lamb Pathia, and my partner had a Vegetarian curry. Both of us were delighted with our food and left very full and contented.

Excellent place to eat. Service very good. Food top-notch. The only minor thing is the lack of parking, although if you don't mind a small walk there is parking on the road past the pub.

Our second time at Chillies and won’t be the last! We eat here because of the extensive vegan options but the whole menu is varied and delicious (husband loved the tandoori butter chicken). The quality, value and service are all awesome. Sag aloo so good!!

We ordered from Chillies as a treat for our last night staying at stonebridge caravan and camping site, the food was very good and well worth it the only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because our starter of onion bahjies were not very warm, I had to pop them in the microwave, considering they are 2mins from stonebridge farm that was a minor factor, other than that I would recommend a takeaway from here, I would definitely order from there again if I'm staying in the area.

Popped in on a Saturday without a booking. They managed to squeeze us in. Great food, the restaurant was full and lots of takeaway orders flying out too. A top curry house. Will be back very soon. Highly recommended

Service was shocking, the waitress on arrival just pointed to where our table was, we sat, and the restaurants card machine was not working so the only other table occupied were asked to get cash from half a mile away, the waiter came to us asking us to pay as soon as we'd ordered, still the machine didn't work, whilst we were eating for the third time he came back to request the card again, even requesting that he take our card away and note the CVV number and seemed surprised when told not. Eventually the card machine was working so the waiter came back requesting payment in the middle of our main course. Just wrecked the experience of eating out, will at least say the food was great, but honestly guys learn how to run service or stick to takeaway. Will never bother to eat in again

First time I've ordered from Chillies. Chose them because of their 5 hygiene rating. Turned out to be really excellent. Delivered piping hot in just 25 mins. Very generous portions and totally delicious. Best balti I've had in years. And the crispy cauliflower starter is delicious. Miles better than most other WSM Indian takeaways. This will be my go to restaurant from now on.

We ordered locally and were very disappointed, then I saw an ad for chillies and I can safely say it did not disappoint. food has been great both times, decent portions, arrived hot and delivery was quick. highly recommended 😊

Best Indian takeaway in and around Weston. Great quality authentic Indian food.

Just been more recently (2022!) and they are back to their brilliant, delicious selves! We decided to try again, as they had always been such a tasty takeaway and we wanted our kids to try them. It was, as stated, absolutely 💯 delicious. And it arrived within 20 minutes of ordering, which is always a bonus! The food was piping hot, so definitely just cooked, and it was all back to its tasty best. We had a lamb makon, chicken korma and vegetable curry; with sides. Absolutely scrumptious. Thank you Chillies! I used to love this takeaway but unfortunately, they must have changed chef, as now the food tastes completely different. It is watery, oily, full of onions and just tastes of nothing. It is such a shame, as we used to enjoy treating ourselves to one of these.

Ordered online for home delivery. It turned up on time but the chicken and lamb was very dry and had no real taste to them, the sauce had more taste than anything

Table booking for 4 people. Very nice restaurant decor. Very good table service and friendly staff. We all chose different dishes and totally enjoyed our meals. My chicken was so moist, I have to say it was the best chicken I've ever had. I would definitely recommend food from Chillies and look forward to using it as our local curry house.

Where do I start? Took my wife out for dinner. Food was tasteless, no flavour, no salt or spice. Extremely flat and bland. Biryani was dry and no texture to it. We ordered meat bhuna which was recommended by waiter but it tasted like water. Couldn't taste the meat at all. Worst Indian place we have been to. Ordered mixed grill for £15 but chicken tikka and tandoori was raw and unedible. Chef must have put it on the grill for a minute. No flavour on starter. Very disappointed and ruined our whole evening. Spent £45 what a waste of money. We only could eat a quarter of what we ordered which was naan biryani mixed grill meat bhuna. Drinks were flat coke had zero fizz. Avoid at all costs!

Staying in Cheddar. Was literally the only restaurant on Uber (luckily we wanted a curry). The portion sizes are larger than you’d expect and the quality is excellent. Honestly could not want more. My only complaint is that I can’t order when back home.

We travelled from the midlands to eat here and was not disappointed in the food and service.

Really disappointed tonight. We've had our fair share of takeaways from chillies and we've had no issues... but tonight, couldn't eat it. The chicken korma was brown and lumpy (it's never ever like this normally), the amount of watery liquid that came from it turned me off of it straight away. Onion bhajis were drier than the dessert, saag paneer not very cheesy, machkon chicken watery, bombay aloo was dry, chips weren't the best. Every single thing was inedible, not what we were expecting from chillies. Was a complete waste of money.

Such a brilliant selection of vegan dishes, I've never had so much choice when ordering a takeaway. We have ordered on 3 separate occasions so far and all dishes have been fantastic! I highly recommend the tofu masala 👌

Amazing quality authentic dishes

Highly recommend it to anyone that wants the tastiest, reasonably priced curry. The staff are lovely, and the food is always incredible. Always on time with delivery and for the collection of takeaways. They care for repeat customers, and if you are lucky, you will get a surprise freebie. They’ve handled Covid-19 restrictions well and have put in measures to ensure safety for customers. One thing to bear in mind... once you have visited the Chillies, you will go back, again and again! This is honestly the best curry we have ever had!

The best Indian takeaway in the local area, bar none. I've tried them all and have the waistline to prove it. Recommend the Onion Bahajis - never had a bad Bahaji from Chillis and that's the mark of quality in my book. They do home delivery too, which is great for these parts. Highly recommended.

I always order food from Chillies, I love how you can taste the difference in freshness of the food compared to other Indian takeaways/restaurants. Also they give generous portion sizes which is always a plus. Enjoyable, friendly atmosphere within the restaurant and would definitely recommend to anyone who likes Asian cuisine👍

I had a delivery last night and the food came nice and hot. The service was amazing. I ordered the crispy chilli cauliflower as I am vegan and it’s great to see they have a vegan option unlike many other restaurants. Would definitely recommend to friends and family and will be ordering again.

This restaurant is amazing. The staff are polite and helpful and delivery is very good. Parking could be a bit better. The food at this place is the best I’ve ever tasted in this area. The curry is exquisite, it is the best item on the menu by far. The times that you have to wait is very short aswell - typically 45-60 minutes. If you collect the time is even shorter at around a 25 minute wait. Overall everything about this restaurant is very well done. Only thing they could improve would be the parking spaces but it’s ok as it it. Highly recommend to anyone who wants a good Indian takeaway!
