Good food, good prices , good staff.

Food was good, fresh and delicious. However they forgot to deliver a bottle of juice with the order, business was apologetic and strived to correct their mistake. Haven’t ordered from this place since I was a child but I think I may order again in the future with hopes nothing is forgotten again.

Being fed up with local choice for food I went there over the bridge to try out. I wasn’t disappointed at all. In fact I rate food, service, atmosphere 5 stars. The owner is very down to earth person who knows how to take care of customers. Ever since my first visit I don’t order from anywhere else. Highly recommended. Second review as of 2nd January 2025: Ever since my first visit to the place which is around 15 months ago, this is still the best takeaway in Fife. I believe it shouldn't be called takeaway because the quality of food is excellent and so is the consistency of food. Their special pizza and king size special mixed kebab are the best. This recommendation is coming from someone who is from the Pakistani origin and have a strong taste of Pakistani food.

Amazing service. We ordered a mixture of curries. All had to have no tomato due to an allergy. However, not a single one was turned down. Only oops was the popadoms being undelivered. However, I called them and they kindly said they'd send them up as soon as the delivery driver returns along with a free bottle. Food is delicious. Chilli Waves is our new go-to!

This time I had a Lamb Karahi with Peshwari Nan & my son had a stuffed crust mixed calzone. It's great that there is such a wide range to choose from. The food is always tasty & the portions generous. We did not take photos of the food - eating was more important, maybe next time.

Ordered food for delivery, they took the order and money with a 45 min to 1hr delivery, then after around 40 mins, I got a text to say the order was cancelled. Disgusting customer service.

We ordered at 5.50pm. Our estimated delivery time was 7.20-7.45. We received a text at 7.25 to say the order had been cancelled. Not even the courtesy of a phone call when the order was cancelled last minute on a Saturday night.

Food was late due to weather which isn't grate but big portions grate food and value for money and worth the wait

Very friendly bossman, rapid service and mouth-watering scran. Look forward to my return at this lovely and hospitable establishment.

Not ordered for a while hoping food would be better, got that wrong as food was disgusting nothing but a grease bowl and soggy chips....never again!!!@

Doner kebab was pretty awful. Huge portion of poor quality meat slopped into a pitta with no care. Salad and sauce come separate, because the kebab isn't even prepared to order. Just a pretty dull experience really.

Very rude. Called back asked to add something on after spending 45 pound and got told i was wasting time and got hung up on DONT ORDER food is cheap n crap

I ordered chilli waves special pizza and chicken tikka, both of which were exceptionally delicious.I never tasted before in Edinburgh 💯 recommend that everyone must try staff is very kind ,respectfull treatment towards all.

i have ordered Tandoori mix Grill with Nan and a Pizza which was so delicious and Tikka was cooked perfectly. and Thanks to owner to send me free drinks. And get delivery on time. and portion of tandoori mix Grill was more then enough. A highly recommend to everyone to must try chilli waves food✌️

Great establishment. Food is always delicious, plenty options, generous portion sizes and piping hot on arrival. Been a regular here for years and will keep coming back as it never disappoints!

Pizza was not great. Biryani was more like pulao. It was not biryani. And service was disheartening. Have been to so many restaurants in SQ, staffs at reception atleast welcomes the cutsomers with smile. Irrespective of being a localite,outsider or immigrant. Staff who was taking order had a straight face, no smile and mostly no welcoming gesture, no reply for greeting too. After I placed my order and was waiting , when a localite entered it was all smiles and trying to project the best customer service. Dissapointing.

To be honest won’t be calling again guy couldn’t hear me on phone and was nearly refusing order telling me go online. Then the delivery driver couldn’t find house. So went back to shop come back with same foo. Pizza stuck to boxes all of ours freezing cold..Most of it went in bin Really disappointed . Avoid🤮

Went there as it was the only place open at night. Ordered chips and curry sauce and my boyfriend ordered a doner kebab. The curry was... um... not typical for chips and curry sauce but rather some sort of Indian curry? Did not go well together. The doner kebab though... caused my boyfriend bad food poisoning. Went back the next day and asked for a refund, but was told no. Unpleasant experience.

Absolutely beautiful food. So glad I came over this place on Instagram and been wanting to try it. Now have had two orders within a week it was that good. First time was delivery to EH4 and was very quick service. Second time was pick up. Service was outstanding. What a lovely friendly man. Allowed us to try all his homemade sauces. Just absolutely wow wow wow. All so good, the mixed pickle and salad dressing being my favourite. Never tasted anything like it. 10/10 service 10/10 food. Will be my favourite place now. Beautiful fresh hot food

My online pre-order for delivery was completely ignored, leaving me with nothing to eat on a Friday evening.

Green peas in a biryani ?? There was no flavour at all Not recommended for indiansssss!

The driver forgot my drink, but the owner phoned to apologise. I think that was really thoughtful and he offered to send the drink but I told him that it’s okay since it was already such a long drive from the shop. Very nice customer service

All do not use this take away they take far to long to deliver and also the abuse my wife got over the phone is disgusting as she put a review on a 4 star well here we go they would get none from me if I could but they are only getting 1 star.

Food was good but sat for a while to pick up take away. It was a Saturday and you could see they were busy but just felt a bit long for a relatively small order.

Definitely recommend food was lovely great customer service. 1 of the pizzas was bit oily apart from that rest of the food was delicious specially the triple burger 😋

First time here tonight for dinner 28sept 23. Ordered simple pizza and burger meal. It was delicious. All of the food was freshly made to order. Reasonably priced. Park your car in the Scotmid coop and just walk less than 20 metres.

Probably the worst food I've ever eaten. Should have known when the creamy garlic mushrooms said "Cremy Garlik Mashrom" on the box. Chips were more dry than sand and everything was genuinely grim. Probably worst food I've ever eaten.

Waited 2 hours for pizza, cool, dry, tasted awful. Chilli waves sort it out… I do t normally right reviews but so disappointed waste of £30 boy happy. I also hope u read these reviews to make dramatic improvements

Ordered online for 4 kids. Almost 1.5hrs later it arrived (after I called to ask where it was) and It was barely luke warm. The 3 chips and cheese, were what looked like Tesco frozen chips and plastic cheese and it had all solidified on top before we even got it, the chips and curry sauce only had a small amount of masala type sauce on the top, not enough to even taste the chips. The kids didn’t eat it, and I don’t blame them. After tasting it, it was awful, so after all that it was a total waste of money. Will never order from them again.

Too many menus through the door, adverts posted to rails. Making Queensferry look tacky. Get a professional to make your menu, the spelling and capitalisation makes it look like a child did it. I'll order when you quit the spam.

Food is good, but since getting a menu through my door when I have a sign that says no junk mail (including menus), I will not be ordering from them again. Blacklisted alongside Domino's (who are the worst for spamming you with their leaflets). Menu was ripped up and binned. When people have a notice up, respect them. It doesn't mean, 'No menus except your menu'.

I tried a 10 inch pizza. Pretty good, and good service too. A bit pricey but I think forced by the current climate.

Ordered last night. Delicious food, excellent service. Even though I live in Edinburgh- I ordered from there as my friend recommended the hangover meal. Top notch quality- Chips was nice and crispy- donner was fresh - I was surprised to see the quality of the food even though it was a late night order- which arrived in due time. People are in north edinburgh- I would recommend this place highly for your next order.

My special mix kebab naan was amazing it' was 10 out 10 very nice was finger licking good/meat was cooked to perfection with a unique marinade and the staff are jus on point amazing guys with good 👍 food 😋.

We didn’t use this place from months and got a call asking us to give them another chance, the first time we were 1hr 20mins and tonight 2hrs. I called after 1hr to be told that it was on the way and would be 5-10mins. There’s always an excuse and always sorry but it’s just not good enough, food always lukewarm and standard has dropped dramatically.

Food is always on time and hot. Ordered from here a good few times now and definitely the best takeaway around 😀

This place used to be great but over the last year or two has gone completely downhill. Orders are regularly over 1.5hrs, even as long as 2.5hrs. Food is often soggy and cold by the time it arrives, pizzas regularly been held upside down or had heavy items on top squashing them flat. There’s pretty much always something missing from your order, they must make a fortune from overcharging for cans, dips and chips that aren’t provided. We’ve been regulars for years but are over it now, we won’t be using them again, it’s just not worth it.

Poor presentation and standard of the food. Bland curry and small portions of chicken. Very disappointed. Absolutely the most poor meal out I can remember having in several years.

Currently in quarantine hotel and have been ordering from chilli waves for the last few nights and this place has not let me down. The curry is authentic pakistani style just like the way my family would cook it. I ordered the chicken tikka vindaloo which was spicy but also very flavoursome!! Staff are friendly and helpful also the food arrives earlier and hot!! Thank you team for the amazing service 👍🏾

The best takeaway ever, amazing food and amazing hospitality served by this takeaway. I ordered from here while being in hotel quarantine and I recieved a phone call from the takeaway by Qamar bhai who offered me free drinks and anything else as hospitality, this really amazed me, an absolutely caring person. I recieved free drinks and lollipops with my order. May Allah bless him with Success and happiness. Will definitely always drop in when passing by. 5 stars from me! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

1 hour and 45 mins waiting on the food. Pizza was just a soggy mess when it got here.

So I’ve been required to stay at a managed quarantine hotel in Edinburgh airport with the kids and Mrs. After several days of little to no halal options in the hotel I decided to try chilli waves as one of the few places that deliver to the airport Hotels. I ordered a burger meal and the owner immediately phoned me back and asked how I was and if I wanted some Asian style food, feeling a bit surprised, We ordered a daal tarka and some chapaties. Bloody marvellous. Tasted just like home and the portion size was huge. I even ate the rest cold the next day. The cheeseburgers that I ordered were good too… Today I’ve ordered 3 chicken biriani, 2 karahi and some naan. Just amazing. Than you Qamar bhai. You helped us beyond measure in a true hour of need and provided some very nice food at the same time!

One of the best wraps I've ever had, I never leave reviews but this place is amazing. Hot and fresh food, really fast delivery time. Great sauces. Just all round can't fault it. Only thing I'd change is the delivery being £3.50 but that certainly wouldn't stop me ordering again. Takeaways are lacking now a days and this one stands out way above the rest. Great job chilli waves 👏.
