Always perfect for this weather. Can try different noodles and meat but soup base broth is consistently nice hot aour spice goodness 👌👍

Basically you sit in a corridor but the noodles are top-notch. Compare and contrast with the Cantonese noodles available elsewhere in Bath. Both great but different. I wish it were near me. I’d go a lot.

Canteen style simple Chinese eatery. There's a decent selection of dishes that can be customised with your choice of protein. Quality wise the food is ok, we had the chicken chilli noodles and the fried duck ho fun... Both were catered to our desired spice level but the depth of flavor was lacking. There was also a lack of condiments aside from basic vinegar and soy sauce. Still for the price it's a decent spot to fill a hole if you need some quick food. A

We had a great time eating here, the food was warm, spicy and felt like a home cooked meal. A little on the pricier side but a nice treat every once in a while. Will definitely return!

The food is very authentic, but the dose of antidiarrheal medicine is a bit too much. I don’t dare to doubt whether it is yours. Fortunately, I didn’t eat anything else after eating yours, otherwise it would be really difficult for me to judge.

Much better than expected! Don't be fooled by odd location and interior. The food and service very good. A bit too spicy for me. Would also have liked more variety of veg in my rice noodle soup. Vegetarian dumplings, delicious!!

The crispy duck dried hofan here is good. The rice noodles were well-cooked, and the duck had a nice flavor. it’s a solid choice for a satisfying meal, and the portion size is decent. Worth trying if you’re in the area!

This place really does offer authentic Chinese noodle dishes. We ordered two different kind of noodles and they were really good, broth taste rich and flavorful, very similar to the ones we had in Beijing. Price is reasonable, highly recommend!!!

Authentic Chinese noodles that took me back to my time in China! The flavors are spot on, and the menu offers a great variety. I visited with my family, and we all left happy and full. Bonus: you can ask for less or not-spicy dishes. Highly recommending this true gem for a delicious meal!

The pork rib potato noodle was fine cooked in Chong qi spicy and sour soup. Soup is hot which is very important for all type of soup noodles. But the potato noodle was a bit soft which should be chewy. That’s why rating 4. Only cash no card.

This is exactly what you want from a noodle shop - cheap, delicious food and quick service. Everything was delicious, whether a simple noodle dish, or a more aromatic dish. The blend of spices in all dishes was fantastic. It is a cash only venue which was good for me, otherwise I would have eaten much more!

Nice Chinese food here! Like the crispy duck fried noodle much，prawn and mouth watering chicken not bad! To have hot and soup food at this town is awesome! But place are little bit small, but overall experience are really good!

Hair in food... 😭 No one in the open kitchen was wearing a hat or gloves. Tastes ordinary, too much MSG added. The cold dishes are relatively ok.

I looked for it because I wanted some soup. The food itself was good, as expected. Not recommended in summer. It's so hot inside that it's crazy. It was difficult because it was so hot and you had to drink a lot of soup and drinks, but you couldn't use the bathroom.

Perfect soup/dish for cold&gloomy UK weather. this is correct specs for the good taste food place ; rude , smileless, aggressive service, limited of choices but perfect seasoning. I added this on my list as "HUMAN FOOD" in UK. Tonight I had the crispy duck with Horfun soup and beef stripes salad. I was sooooooo happy.

Food was very good and fair price! Recommend ordering with crispy duck as it is crispy and tasty!! The downside is the restaurant was quite small

I walked in randomly after arriving in Bath to visit a friend and wanting a quick bite to eat. I didn’t expect much as the place is attached to the bus station but wow was I surprised. The fried udon with crispy duck was phenomenal. The duck was perfectly crispy, a good portion size, and very flavorful. The udon soft and delicious. I came back the next week with my friends and we all enjoyed our meals immensely. It is cash only so come prepared. The seating space is small and close

went there twice while in bath for 3 days 🦉🦉 i liked the beef potato noodles a lot, so i had them twice - it hit the spot 🥰 my bf had hot & sour noodle on the first time, Chongqing noodle on the second out of curiosity of the differences ( seems like the Chongqing was not sour while the hot & sour one was -.-) we liked them both but we preferred sour vibes.

Crispy ducks and dumpling are delicious but the place I would say it is dirty and not a good place to dine in as you will see a lot of people going in and out of the toilet. Cash only but credit card is welcome in some cases if the owner is in good mood.

This eatery is located next to the Bath bus station and bathroom. It was pouring that day and I was craving for a hot bowl of soup noodles. This place certainly hit the spot! Nice people. Owner said that everything can be made to be non-spicy. Got the braised beef Chongqing noodles. I can taste the MSG in the soup, but the beef and noodles were great. Tasted authentic. Diced chicken fried udon no coriander please!!!!!!!! I moved away from Bath almost 5 years ago and I think about these noodles regularly. I am their BIGGEST fan. If Chilli Family Noodles has 1 million fans I am one of them. If Chilli Family Noodles has one fan it is me. If Chilli Family Noodles has zero fans I am dead. If you are ever in Bath, don't leave without trying one of their beef dishes. I'm going to say it best I've had in three years. I was surprised to find such a place in Bath.

This is Captain Tom Howard speaking, I never had Chinese food before but after that luxurious meal my whole opinion has changed for the better. I'm now officially moving to east China to start a new life. I have registered to train in Brazilian Ju-jitsu in the Himalayas as part of a training course for 6 months. Authentic Chinese food, noodles of all kinds are recommended, and the spicy sauce is epic. Very convenient location, literally next to the bus station. Can be very busy when it’s lunch/dinner time.

I haven't ordered but if I was at the bus or train station, I'd consider it. The food looks and smells nice and it's handy for transport options.

Popped in for a quick lunch, excellent food, but bear in mind: A. This place seems to be incredibly popular so be prepared to wait. B. They don't have a lot of space, so it's "cosy"... Having said that, it's well worth it, great food at fast food price.

My favorite place to eat in Bath. Highly recommend the sweet potato noodle soup. The mouth watering chicken and beef are super good too. They only accept cash and the shop and be quite busy in the evening. If I am not mistaken they charge higher for takeaway box.

Was on a 24 hour trip to Bath. I surprisingly came here twice to get the crispy duck (boneless) hot and sour wheat noodle soup (without the nuts). I highly recommend. Only con is that it’s cash only but you won’t regret

Chilli Family Noodles is a fun place with a cosy atmosphere! Tried a variety of noodles - each serving is a real explosion of flavour. Especially impressed with the soups, full of flavour. The service is top notch, the staff is friendly. A small minus for a slightly long wait, but it was worth it.

I can recommend for 100 stars of tasty noodle and I always going there more than 20+. Lovely price and yummy food. Extra recommend…order dry stir-fry noodle with beef. It's my favorite dish

Slayed, as usual, best value place in the bath. Portions are large, and prices are low. Yet to be disappointed by anything on the menu.

Got the crispy duck and udon noodle soup. Broth was spicy sour and delicious, duck was perfect. Friendly staff and really fast service. Relaxed atmosphere whether you're going for lunch with friends or a quick bite by yourself. Decent price for the amount of food you get. Couldn't recommend more!!

Was floating around bath for a train when I came across Chilli Family! Cute lil place with the most amazing scent of noodles and other spices coming from it. Went in and ordered. Was welcomed by the chef and others behind the counter. Once I ordered I sat not too long after watching the chef build my meal (crispy duck and noodles) it didn’t take long under 10 minutes and what I received was IMMACULATE! beauty presented and tasted so good. SO GOOD I went for a round 2. And Ordered wan ton Ramen that was just as fantastic. Well done CF noodles! I loved it and will be back! In bath today may pop in again! Amazing tasting food! 1000/10

Finally, Bath gets a legit noodle joint! The stewed beef udon soup had tender beef and all the trimmings including sichuan pepper. Soup was a tad sour but 5* for the speed and excellent menu. Important- cash only!

These guys are the best. Consistent, high quality (broth + meat both excellent), really quick. I have never eaten this food anywhere other than Europe so can't say if its authentic or not but they are legit the best noodle bar I've tried out of maybe 15 places. Maybe not the absolute cheapest but considering how much more expensive everything else has gotten, e.g. even mcdonalds isn't that cheap anymore, and you're getting a full meal, still a good deal. P.S. Chili family employees I want to copy your broth (moved away from bath) pls advice

Very convenient place to grab a bite. Close seating arrangement but if you don’t mind it, then you’ll be glad you stopped to eat here! They have a wide range of dishes and are fast to take your order and serve you. I ordered at the counter and was met with great customer service. They were only cash so I had to grab some from an ATM, which was worth it. I would recommend this place if you are craving a flavory and welcoming dish.

Seriously, this is the best dish I had while visiting Bath. It was cold outside, a perfect time to have hot noodle. I really love it.

Always love a bowl of spicy noodle, food is good, authentic, and not easy to find in Bath. It's a place I would recommend if you are looking for proper western Chinese food taste. However, it's located on the side of the bus station, and next to a public toilet, which is why I am giving 4 stars. It's more like street food style. But as mention, authentic good taste noodle as good as you can get in this town.

For me needs a bit of salt but seems really authentic! Enjoyed the ox tripe salad part with cucumber which I have eaten as side for the hot noodles on the rainy day! Hope more noodle shop like this in the south!

The order is extremely chaotic, the service staff are incapable of management, they do not accept credit cards, and the food is salty. Chinese restaurants in other cities rarely encounter such a disorderly environment, which greatly affects the dining mood.

Great sichuan style noodle restaurant in Bath - food was hot and fresh, service was decent, and the place was busy the entire time (we came in the mid-afternoon). We ordered the crispy duck with hot and sour glass noodles and the braised beef with fried noodles and recommend both if you're looking for a change of pace from traditional British fare

Authentic Chinese food offered a quick and simple meal. Always delicious, fresh and hot. It seems very busy with students and Asian tourists. Convenient as it closes to the bus station and a few minutes' walk to the train station. Very Yummy too. You won't be disappointed!
