One member of staff was horrid. Other than that was nice

Maisie was amazing although, me and my friend went in with our ID’s and the woman with the short, dark hair and glasses refused to serve us, thinking we were underage. We went back with our passports to prove we were of age and she refused to serve us because of ‘attitude’ when i had made a point of being polite because i understood her reservation to serve us. She admitted that she had refused service purely to make a point because she didn’t want to admit she was wrong. This specific server was extremely entitled and completely rude even thought we had politely offered proof we were over 18 multiple times. Do not go here (sorry to be a Karen she was just really rude to me)

Recently had two really good nights in The Chieftain, will definitely be going again.

Great traditional local pub recently had a full makeover, and it shows. Patrons and staff Very friendly and chatty just what you need when your visiting the area for 2 nights.Great range of cask ales lagers and spirits, and the best prices in the area. Will be our first stop when next visiting the area in a few weeks time Wonderful pub.

New refit, clean, bright and great karaoke

Highly recommend for good night out very welcoming staff and enjoyable night out. Reasonable drinks too.

Good boozer but was a bit bemused that I had to turn my cap round going in. Probably for the cameras.

I've been going in there for Years.But Unfortunately they have a very Aggressive Lady who Works there now.So I wont be going in there again.I Beleive this Woman Worked in the York Hotel has well,and Some Custermers were not very Happy with her Attitude in there.Far better pubs in Morecambe than that place Rubbish in there now.👎👎

First visit to this area - good job we visited other pubs before this was dire landlords miserable and unwelcoming certainly would not recommend. Only plus was close to hotel and drinks reasonably priced.

As always,I would say one of the best pubs in Morecambe.

Traditional local public house. Very busy and popular with locals. Reasonable prices. Good atmosphere with a sport edge. Very varied age groups.

Really nice place. Nice atmosphere and the beer is amazing value, served in shiny new glasses too. Look forward to visiting in Summer.

Great pub we always come here when in Morecombe. Good atmosphere the beer is good and the choice is varied. You can watch sport on any TV in any room. Its clean well kept and welcoming dogs are allowed

Very friendly, good & cheap beer.

Walked in got told sit at a table and we will serve you. Well I sat at a table. And no one served me. Bar staff noticed by their absence. After ten minutes noticed that others with empty glasses and obviously locals we continued to get served. Sorry but still didn't get a drink as I got so annoyed at being ignored. As I was walking out drink up bell. And they was still serving others.

No children allowed in pub, strictly adults only. Myself and family were not allowed in, very disappointed.

Great side street bar.been visiting for last 30 years,although changed it is still a proper drinking venue.staff are very welcoming and actually take time to chat,landlord does a great job and is also welcoming.great prices and beers kept well.all sport shown.deffo worth a visit
