the food was completely stone cold and inedible don't think they have a bag to keep it warm, so disappointed

Food was spot on. Chips were nice and fluffy as well as being crispy. But also the cowboy burger was all so tasty.

Had absolutely awful experience, Ordered 4 pieces of chicken for £8.80, made sure in comments it’s said boneless chicken , then can of Rio and some sauces. What arrived was 4 chicken legs and Fanta… called them up said they tried to call didn’t really explain what for…. when I got there they charged me £8.80 again for 4 pieces , didn’t refund the other chicken even though I brought it back, did not refund the delivery fee or any just eat charges after having to get out and sort it. I’m confused

Ordered at 1630 arrived at 1810 for 2 wraps and nuggets.

I ordered a wrap and it says served with chips and a drink and just the wrap came. It also was 30 minutes late. Food that we did get was nice though.

Live literally a fifteen minute walk away and I ordered over two hours ago and it’s only just come. I could feel my body eating away at my calories because it thought I was going to starve to death.

Terrible. Won’t be ordering again.

Good food - but on several occasion now after placing an order we have waited more than 30 mins after the “ready” time. No apology - nothing. Shocking!

Quality of food is not as it used to be

It was quality food and excellent value for money.

ordered at 18.20 told estimated at 19.00 delivery messaged at 19.20 as ordered had not arrived then told 19.45. at 20.00 I messaged to cancel order and it then arrived at 18.40 cold. very dissapointed as they have always given a good service previously to this, I will not be using them again as it's certainly not a fast food buisness

My order hasn’t been delivered but the app says it’s been delivered. I haven’t received it.

More and more recently delivery is always late even though its 1 hr delivery time with 20 minute buffer time. Not acceptable when we have to chase the delivery each time.

Late all the time and not by a little over an hour

It was already late, then after the eta it said it had been "delivered" it hadn't so called the shop and they told me it's on its way. Then took another 15 min to arrive. By the time I got it it was wet and soggy and cold from the condensation in the bag so had clearly been sitting around for a while.

Food was over 2 hours late and when it finally arrived everything was cold. Spoke to the staff at the takeaway on the phone who were rude & arrogant Made to feel I was lying and just wanted the money back and keep the food. When I spoke to the takeaway again for a refund they said they would need to collect the food to see if cold before giving refund and they said would be an hour for the driver to come back! Took food back myself to prove it was cold! Won’t order from them again!!! So disappointing

we are regularly customers so would think you would get order correctly i understand your busy but when the order is been wrong nearly every time we order there is a problem going on we love the food but seems we are waiting longer and longer everything we order which we don't mind but when waiting from and hour to 2 hours you would expect your order to be correct

Over an hour and half late, everything was literally wet because of the rain despite the fact it was carried in a plastic bag the rain had gone through the brown bag that the food was in. Everything was cold as though it had been in a fridge! Wish ide of read the reviews before ordering because all the bad ones seem to be true! Definitely not worth the money.

Regular for us you can easily feed 4 for less then £20 unheard of nowadays.

the food was alright as usually from there but after ordering around 10pm didn't expect it to take that long, then got delivered at 11.40pm was a very long time for a Sunday night!

I ordered tonight 27th November ,the food is excellent but iam sick to death of them missing things off the order this is the third time they have missed thing off order and it spoils it iam thinking of ordering else were and they give us two cans of coke for inconvenience which is appling.

The driver said that he wasn't finding the house but the second driver found it. The brought cold and not so fresh food because of the time. Mind you that was our super .

Honestly it was late but as soon as I saw the delivery driver I forgot if it was late or not she was gorgeous

Food was good but they forgot part of my order and took ages to bring it back even though they are only a 5 minute drive away(if I wasn't disabled I would have got it myself), so by the time they brought the missing item my food was cold, not happy at all.

Ordered tonight as wanted something quick after hard day at work, ordered at 7.05pm and food didn't turn up until 9.05pm barely warm. I'd already rang the shop to enquire where my order was and they insisted it was out for delivery. Never had issues before when I've ordered but for a Wednesday evening surely this shouldn't of taken 2 hours. Very disappointed with the food and the service..

very disappointed, we've ordered from here a lot but the last time, we ordered a burger and found a piece of blue plastic.

Bang on time, food was nice and fresh, I love how the chips are really soft but crispy on the outside here which I love which places in hull can't get right.

chicken burger amazing as always same with the cheesy chips, but would be nice to have sauce and an option on the chips. The let down was the onion rings, now normally they are lovely from here but tonight they all went in the bin, no onion in them and really mushy batter inside, didn't look or taste nice so had to throw away. That is the only downside to tonights meal.

Half the order was missing , unable to contact anyone at the restaurant.

Absolutely pathetic. Arrived an hour and a half after Just Eat started telling me it had been delivered, about 3 hours after I ordered. I had to go through customer services, who told me 3 times it would be there soon. I do not like being strung along, if it's that busy cancel the order.

Big portions and decent prices. Forgot my drink though but Im sure it's a one off. Driver came half an hour early which was a bit of an inconvenience for me since I live in an apartment but Im sure that'd be great for 99% of people

long wait for a budger to turn up with mayo on when it states "no sauce" if I liked and wanted a pile of mayo I would of asked of it!! waste of money and time

i got my order was cold and i found something in my chicken that looked like some fort of brain or something and i rang them they said it was edible and i asked to speak to the manager they said he would ring me and he still hasn’t rang me every time i ring the shop they say he isn’t in and he’ll give me a ring when he’s back in the shop i’ve asked them for a refund and they didn’t say anything they just said it was edible

Ordered 10 spicy wings and chips and they thought I wouldn't notice they sent disgusting bland dirty normal wings swimming in grease with chips so hard they should be classed as weapons

Amazing food was with me less then an hour !

food arrived at 9.30pm, it was ordered at around 7.40. 8.40 I was told it had left the shop, when it arrived all of the packaging was damaged, the food was cold and I was missing my large chips. tried ringing the shop from 9.10pm and got no answer whatsoever after 4/5 tries.

We ordered Mexican loaded fries which we was really looking forward to. It is supposed to have chicken pieces in it but you needed a magnifying glass to find them. It was just very dry chips and cheese with a few jalapeños. For the price it wasn't worth it and I won't be going there again.

Called 4 times, no answer. Order is currently 30 mins late with no idea of when it will arrive. Marked order as late on Just Eat with a message stating that we will hear from the restaurant in 5 mins, no contact. Not the first time this has happened. Food ordered at 9:10, still no sign of food at 10:55.

I would like a whole refund the food was absolutely awful, freezing cold none of it was edible. The shop doesn’t answer their shop number we was waiting over 1hr 30mins.

don't always like chicken from takeaway but I do like it from this Chicken George always cooked properly and always tasty i would definitely recommend the burgers.Staff delivery drivers are nice to. really reasonable priced to.

Order from chicken George all the time and 9/10 is great, tonight it was awful, dry chicken, lettuce tasted like cabbage, too much mayo, and it was not hot due to it being late.

As always beautiful chicken and fries crispy and spicy, perfect. Also sent double dips as added note to remind them to add as forgot last time so was surprised together double dips not many places would do thank you. Regular friendly driver always delivered with a smile not like some drivers elsewhere. Thank you

Absolutely disgusting! Gave me raw chicken in my burger, I’m heavily pregnant and this could have poisoned me if I’d eaten it. The guy on the phone was unbelievably rude and trying to tell me I don’t know what raw chicken looks like. Wouldn’t go here if I was you, it’s foul

we received a chicken burger which was pink and chicken fillets which were also pink! had to get my money back through justeat, will never order from here again disgraceful sending food out like this all went in the bin

We know the chicken burger was changed and was kept as a hot chicken roll getting rid of the plain burger but we've have always enjoyed it, but this is the spiciest we have ever had it and my family could not eat this as was too spicy it made it not nice to eat. I also didn't expect my bbw chicken wrap to be the same spicy chicken, we have always loved chicken george but this has put us off for now as wasted £30 for it all to go in the bin.

Delivery was late 1 hour. But we get free ice cream and apologise from CG. Burger was amazing in taste. Chips and wrap very tasty like always.
