Chicken Cottage in Leeds

First time used Morley as i eat at other chicken cottage franchises often. Poor food and customer service. First and last for me.

bossman service was 5 star and the food was flinger licking good.

Ahh ordered food from here late night and oh my God! The food was sooooooo fresh and sooo yummy!!! Never leave reviews but this one deserves it! Thank you so much guys for the fresh, tasty, delicious food! Never disappoints us! The driver was also polite. THANK YOU! ❤️❤️❤️

I've been ordering from chicken Cottage for years. Unlike other takeaways where it can be hit and miss, the taste is consistent and very nice. Delivery has always been on time and food arrives hot. I usually get the chicken wings meal. The wings are crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Fries are also perfectly seasoned. Highly recommended

Very good Customer Support by Sohail i had a mountain burger and it was amazing, every bite i could taste the hash brown and the fillet what can i say the place is well cleaned and hygienic everyone should try it.

Literally never bought anything from here before. For the first time i ordered a mountain stack box off just eat and it never turned up. Now i thought this could be just eats fault so i left them a note abd also rang the shop and theybsaid its just eats fault. The next night i ordered the same but ordered directly from the shop. The order took an hour which was 20 mins past tge time they said on the phone. When i tried the chips they were dry and hard. Then i had a bite of my burger and got the longest black hair in my mouth that was inside the chicken. I took a video and pictures of the hair and i phoned the shop back with 5 mins and told them. There reply was its not our fault as nobody has long hair in the shop. We went back an forth for 15 mins and he just said its not our policy to give refunds and if i wanted to walk to the shop and check if anyone has long hair im welcome! Also that if i wanted to complain direct to their supplier i can, then refused to give me the details to do so. I will be posting the videos online as i said i would if they didnt give me a refund. Please avoid at all costs. Terrible customer service and food was awful unlsess you like dry hard chips and long black hairs in your food

I love thod place! I order from here maybe 3 times a month. The chicken is exceptional and the chips are tasty! Service is excellent, have some good banter!

I had a take away Chicken cottage and had a truly disappointing experience. The chicken was excessively salty, to the point where it was barely edible. Every bite was overwhelmed by an overpowering saltiness that masked any potential flavor the chicken might have had. Unfortunately, this left the meal unenjoyable and a waste of money.

The chicken was pink and the flavour was awful. I ordered chill chicken and the taste was a mixture of sweet and chilly. Customer service very poor .sorry I will not buy there again

I've been ordering from here since they opened a few years ago. Food is always as I expect, really nice. Staff are friendly and professional. The fried chicken and grilled chicken are both great. I recently enjoyed the apple crumble, especially as I wasn't expecting it to be so good. Will definitely order that again.

Best chicken in the area! Plenty on the menu and always hot and fresh. I refuse to go to KFC now and will always go to Chicken Cottage instead. Recommend the mountain burger. The prices are good and the quality of the meal is excellent. The fries are so tasty we got an extra portion to eat on the way home In the car! The guys who work there are always friendly and organised so your meal is never stood on a hot counter waiting for you to collect, it’s bagged up as you get there. I have one question Chicken cottage… the mayo on the mountain burger, do you make it yourself because it’s soooooooo good!

Ordered a wrap and a cheese burger and was horrible burger tasted like it had been cooked with something else and bun was soggy and wrap was horrible. And paid 20 pound for this. Also ordered a burger meal and it just came on its own

Delivery was requested as ASAP which took an hour and was delivered to a neighbour. Unfortunately the chicken and fries were far to salty to enjoy.

Unfortunately this wasn’t the greatest. First time ordering from chicken cottage and most of the food was alright and pretty good, but the BBQ chicken wrap was inedible. No where on the website or just eat does it show that it is a HOT bbq sauce and that’s what it was. So hot that it was just disgusting and just could not be eaten. There is a difference between spicy and flavour. Then there is just HOT. Even though I liked the rest of what we ordered I don’t think I’ll order from here again as I really don’t want to order something and just not be able to eat it.

Way better than kfc, we're fairly regular here now. Great friendly service too. The coating on the chicken is really nice and crispy, not spicy, not oily. They offer lovely ice cream.

Food was 1 hr 30mins. I rang after 50mins (10mins after the delivered time ETA) and I was told that he had to put fresh chicken in as he ran out and the driver was leaving in 2mins. I rang back 35mins later I was then told it took time because "I ordered half a chicken" and the driver would be another 2mins. . 10mins later the food arrived dry, the rice was soggy and I think half of it had gone missing . Wont ever go back here. Customer services was sh#t. Worst CC I've been to and I have been to many of them.

Banging food and didn't take to long to be made

I placed my order for my children's tea at 5pm. It's not 7pm and the food still isn't here. Rang up and was told 15 minutes 40 minutes ago. Just rang up again,told it's on its way,and then hung up on. Not happy

They have the best chicken meal's I had in the UK. The meat was nice warm and juicy and chips when it was fresh was perfect. They were cool down and went a bit gummy, but that happened everywhere 😂

Ordered food to be delivered & it still hadnt arrived after 50 minutes. Rang them to be told it'll be another 30 minutes, so I had to cancel it. Joke service, won't be ordering again.

We have ordered plain chicken burger for my niece Too spicy and he couldn't eat it called the shop the refused to replace it for a plain or give our money back awful customer service! If the food comes spicy they should advertise spicy food and mention to customers!

2 hours we've waited for food and when we rang them again they said it left 1/2 hour ago but lots of deliveries with it, so can't tell us how long it will be! They were doing us a favour delivering!!!!! So we should be waiting! Disgraceful service! DONT USE THEM!

If you like to wait over an hour for cold food missing extras that you’d paid for, accompanied by a cheap copy of Tango (roller cola style) then this is the place for you!! If you like your food hot and correct then I suggest you purchase somewhere else.

Usually order from here and usually it's spot on, best chicken shop that isn't KFC. Tonight has completely changed my mind and I will never order from here again, the chicken smelled and tasted like tuna and garbage. Absolutely disgusting, on the verge of vomitting. I have always loved chicken cottage and would always pick over KFC but orded tonight and both of the chicken burgers only had hash brown, cheese and lettuce yes no chicken mistakes are made but when arlass called to tell them thay had make a mistake thay said she was called a liar and they said that had CCTV of the chicken burgers been put in the buns but would not send us the footage because they were obviously talking sh*t no apologies no refunds we will not be ordering from here again which is disappointing. We have had to order from some where else.

Ordered tonight. Ordered 2 chicken burgers when they arrived no chicken in the burgers rang and they said there cctv shows the burgers being put in. Total lie as you can see from my picture. No refund no apology. Will never order from here again. Disgusting customer service!!!

Like KFC but with more choice... The box meals are very filling and great value for money. Was dubious about having a hash brown included in my burger but this just made it... so tasty and packed full of flavour. My first chicken cottage takeaway and won't be my last as very impressed

2 hours to deliver. Hot wings were nice but grilled chicken looked butchered by someone (cut in half in a weird way, possibly to speed up cooking) and as a result was dry and tasteless. Disappointed.

I was a very regular customer of Dixy Chicken. I was told regardless of this been a franchise from Beeston I should expect a higher quality service and product beating KFC, Nando's, Mc "Donald's " etc etc. Fantastic new building, open plan observation cooking area. Nice new premises. Stale cooking oil food. Chicken strips are no more then chicken left overs. Fries are actually died. In this arena of covid etc ? I'd sell up and do one.

Cant Give zero stars, Gone right down the pan (no pun intended) again. When it was Dixy it went down hill, changed hands (& name) was Great , now things are turning up late & cold , and that's if it turns up at all. Spend the Extra few quid and order from KFC.
