Lovely chicken and chips place! Best in the area

Food arrived after an hour and 15 minutes. Food was cold and the burger was hard. Manager wouldn't ring the delivery driver to check where the food was after an hour and ten minutes (?). I think this experience was the experience I needed to stop eating "fast" food because I feel sick. The correct response in this situation was a cancellation of the order and full refund. We were waiting so long that we actually ate beforehand anyway. My very hard earned money was stolen from me.

As a chicken lover and a Uber driver I have been to lots of chicken takeaways this is one of the best chicken takeaway in London with friendly staff and clean atmosphere. Other day while I was standing to be served the person Infront of me told that she is taking this chicken to Swiss for her nephew. Amazing , I recommend to everyone try at least once.

Yesterday I had bad experience at the chicken cottage. I order food and the staff was rude and very not accommodating. They're talking to each other and unresponsive moreover waiting time is very unreasonable and makes you lose appetite immediately and then the staff won’t even apologize for such delayed service and when the food comes it’s not even worth the wait so you get the frustration the consumers would feel.

I visited chicken cottage. I order fries. The quality is very very bad I think they're using used oil again and again. I don't know for how many days they're using the same oil. it was so terrible. They need to change the oil everyday. They play with people's health and it's really bad. The worst thing is hygiene. They're not maintain proper hygiene and really bad at food safety.

Great place if you want to get food poisoning. Ordered a grilled chicken today for take away, waited over 15 mins. Got home and found out the chicken was still half raw not cooked through, what a waste of money

Chicken cottage in Rayners Lane are far more the best food I could have they have fantastic quality of food I like how clean the are and how nice and friendly the staff is the manager Balan is so well outspoken so humble I go to them everyday.

Got bbq wings, they tricked me and poured bbq sauce over regular wings. Chips were dry yet greasy at the same time, they can have the 1 star for that feat 🤢

Extremely poor service. Made a phone order and was told it will be ready in 20 minutes went there 30 mins later and then and was told to wait another 15 minutes because they forgot my order. Waited 20 minutes and was told they run out of chicken wings. Like what kind of service are they running. The man making the burger makes wears no gloves rubs his nose and talks whilst making the food and spit all over it. After watching that i walked out of the place. Id rather starve then go back there again.

From the first time I visited this place, I have always come back, the service is awesome and the spicy Chicken Burger is nothing short of heavenly..pushed down with a chilled drink ...what more could be more satisfying 😄

The best Chicken Cottage in London. I am a Chicken Cottage connoisseur - I have tried Chicken Cottages in London Bridge (both of them), Tooting, Watford, all over London tbf. However, this is by far the best. I miss living in Rayners Lane for this sole reason! Boss man is very friendly, he has seen me grow from a boy to a man. The flavour he put into his food is unreal. Don't listen to any of the negative reviews, they clearly don't have an idea on what they are talking about. Or, they have has 1 bad experience and based all their future opinions on this (shame on them for missing out). Every time I come back to Rayners Lane I order Chicken Cottage. The best in London. I miss boss man, I miss those chicken wings, I miss the burgers, the fries, everything! Keep blessing the residents with your amazing food boss! See you in 5 mins, coming to pick up my food now 😉

I was delighted by the really sweet and cheerful lady at Chicken Cottage. She was super kind and greeted me with a beaming smile. I wasn't sure what I wanted to order so the manager recommended the grilled chicken, which was honestly amazing – perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. Many people only tend to leave reviews only when something negative happens, this place definitely deserves more positive reviews.

Food and choices are good but terrible customer service. The staff (back of the house) is rude and they get frustrated easily. Should be better trained on how to politely talk to customers We went to the restaurant at 11:15 ish and perhaps its the exhaustion of the entire day's work.

I orderd mega box and it was around £6.49 Ask me if it worth for the money and I'll say no just put the money in the drainage instead because it's the worst food I ever aten and the burger seem nasty and tasteless and dry chicken like its cookd yerstaday and the I had a chicken piece and as you seen in the pictures that's all I ate because its just like I ate a peace a wood peas and I had to put in the bin and its most dried chicken and become harder and then I had the gravy I think they miss understood what Is gravy to masala sauce and it was so thin like they washd the masala dish and didn't want to wast and put in a little container and give to Coustomer like its a gravy and finaly spicy chips dont even bother because it was cold and cheap chips added just chilli powder. Finaly the staff and alot of people put good reviews about them but my experience was different and when I went 1 old guy took order no hello no smile the basics and he took a order and then he told another person to give the food and he is gone then another guy was cleaning the oil middle of lunch time that's why I can understand food is cold and dry bec they pre cookd every think the day befor and then the women who got my food ready and she don't care of the job and I think she didn't want to be they maby she requested day off and maby they didn't giver so she didn't even say hi or smile and when i got my food I say thank you and she just lookd at me like I'm for another planet and while I walk out. That's the last time I'll ever go agin.

Peri peri chicken poorly cooked, as if you are eating boiled chicken. Called the shop and complained , but instead of agreeing to improve next time, Chicken Cottage Rayners lane were adamant that it was properly cooked. Pretty bad quality and service. The whole grilled peri peri was really disappointing. I wouldn't order again or recommend anyone to buy from Chicken Cottage Rayners lane

Food is so over rated. Not as good as it used to be! A real shame.

I don't remember going here but it was probably acceptable in a drunken way. Staff are always nice. Chicken is hit and miss, depending on how long it has been waiting for me.

Good but not enough politeness.

The staff there are attentive and nice - especially the customer service lady at the front. She is super friendly and always has a smile on her face. That lady definitely knows how to keep customers happy. The food there is also very tasty. I ordered a wrap meal, which was made 100% according to my taste. The shop is always clean. I can only recommend!

The staff are very friendly. Both Uthaya and the man in the white shirt were attentive and their service was great. I ordered the grilled chicken, which was delicious, especially the peri peri sauce on it took it to the next level. The shop is also super clean - will definitely be going back!

The manager (short Asian guy) is extremely rude, he argues and shouts at his staff and delivery guys in front of customers. He’s always angry at something just a horrible guy, I asked about a drink option they usually had and he replied something like ‘do you see that there so no we don’t have it. People need to stop asking about it’. I try to not go there if he’s serving, horrible man! He got my order wrong and gaslit me telling me I said the wrong thing. I feel sorry for the older lady who works there

Just visted this place endup with a guy very rude. Just said to him Are you ok ? And he gave me a very bad angry look ? Then i asked him is he realy ok as he was very furious. At this point i asked him why are you angry and his asking me why am i asking that question… He even told me that he dont want such customers.

Very bad customer service experience. We order food by Uber Eats. First we get the call that it will be late because of no one from Uber eats present. Ok totally understand. Later we found out that delivery is about to come. So we wait, listen for doorbell. Last check in Uber eats and... Delivered. Our question is: to whom because we do not get it! We call to restaurant and first they pick up phone then in the middle of sentence they put it down. Once again call they said only the things which we can find out by ourselves in app. They take our number they will call. So they call back and said that Uber is delivered. For our question to whom (we ask 3 times or more) suggest to call to driver they said that they can't (we know that they can but for what they get money end of story for them) we have to sort out by ourselves. So we do not have food and £30. They probably forget who is their customer. Uber eats big mistake as well but we can't contact with driver to sort out! They can. Any apologies of course. But what you can expect from someone who hardly understand and speak English?

amazing, the best chicken i have eaten in years. I am from the south so i eat a lot of chicken but this the best chicken i have eaten in years. It has a good amount of heat, with a crunchy texture and juicy chicken. The chips absorb the seasoning well and it is tasty. Shout out to the Tamil manager My G.

I went in there and because I’m young he served everyone else . He was talking about me in Indian cussing me thinking I don’t understand . They don’t wash there hand I got diarrhea after I ate there food and I saw them put there fingers in there noses while making food
