Horrible , despicable behaviour slow service bad welcome , I think police need to investigate this place I suspect they are selling drug heroine , crack , hashish I saw many people coming taking a small black bag and leaving straight away, the delivery drug dealers are more important than customer waiting for , just a disgrace I hope police will investigate this dodgy place food was not tasty over spiced , chips low quality every product are low quality cheapest one even the service are poor, how dare they are selling drugs just to cover the lost of gone customers.i would never recommend this place even to someone i dislike overpriced and uttermely rubbish place

The chicken was dry and had blood in it tables where dirty the shop was so cold i had bbq wing from didn't even taste like bbq terrible food not recommended

food was great, got chicken strip meal. Chicken was done fresh and was hot and crispy when i received it. Good seasoning. Fries were well salted and a good portion. Drink was fine although it was in french? Definitely worth the time and price.

Do not go as you will probably find hair in your food, like me. It is disappointing how it fell off this far and will probabably never come back again.

Reasonably priced and friendly service. Had the six piece chicken whilst my wife had the burger. It was OK, but parts of the chicken were incredibly greasy. The stripes were good though, I would recommend them.

Stay away from this place... chicken is dripping oil, like it had cholesterol before it was deep fried alive. Chips where less oily which must be a talent. Only drunk people could enjoy this food

Very rude staff with poor customer gangster service. They always look unhappy and treat some customers with no respect. It's almost like they're doing you a great deal of favour for their services that isn't free. Food portions are also served based on their mood or who's serving. Disgusting!

If you like fried chicken that tastes like dusty pork scratchings then this place is for you

The very friendly and nice and polite staff is a bonus. The chicken burger meal was really very nice much better thicker tastier chicken than the KFC across the road surprisingly. I went back the next day also as was working in the area and wanted something tasty and quick again. I would recommend if wanting chicken in High Wycombe and will be returning when in the area again working.

Arrived at 0340 for meal break. Opening hours posted online and on front door state 0400 closing time. Was refused service due to time.

I don't usually post reviews about chicken franchises like this one but today I picked up a full grilled chicken and the texture was pink and tasted horrible, I called and they said they would replace 2nd time same thing. Mass production of cheap chicken at its best . Won't be going here again! And even put off for life for buying takeout chicken

Very neat, with great customer service. I also enjoyed my meal. I had the chicken burger meal. I highly recommend it. They were customers on the other side of the restaurant that's why I didn't take photos but the Restaurant is aesthetically pleasing.

Really horrible food, had ordered wings which were not fresh plus they were raw and the spicy chicken burger which had strips instead of a fillet. Even the order was wrong, wanted a spicy burger instead got the one with sweet chilli. Never going to have food from this place again.

The food was ok and I think they should really work on customer service and the atmosphere was really loud.

Bunch of cowboys , poor food , rude and gangsters type ,, cold and sogy chicken , same with fries , at least 9 1diots were having a laugh begind the counter ,, no hygienes, every mate was going straight to the kitchen ,, never ever seen anything like this

I recently visited the Chicken shop in High Wycombe and I must say I was extremely impressed! The food was delicious and the staff were friendly and helpful. The prices were very reasonable and the portion size was generous. I will definitely be returning and I would recommend this to anyone looking for a great spot to grab some good quality chicken!

ordered food from ubereats food came looking at it was disgusting burger with 2 piece of strips in nothing else bun very squashed for the amount i paid such a rip off look more like a steake burger same size and to be charged £7 disgusting chips half cooked

One piece of chicken was very nice as you would generally expect from chicken cottage but the second piece ruined the entire meal. It was Horrible,had a foul taste and the skin texture was really bad. Please discard of bad pieces of meat instead of serving it to customers.

When I went to collect my food and pay, I paid with what cash I had and the remaining amount on card, however, they tried to charge me a lot more on the card reader then what was due left to pay. Luckily I noticed this and mentioned it but they easily could have gotten away with it if I didn't look.

I went to eat there becuz I once went there with someone who ordered a special sauce.when I went there alone today they refused to even acknowledge that they have any special sauce rather then the regular ketchup n stuff....i just went there today becuz I loved that sauce the other day....without it the food was nothing special....just a regular chicken shop....wouldnt be going again there

If you like food that that arrives over an hour and a half after you order, chicken cottage is perfect. Food is decent but service is terrible. Rude staff, no manners and customer service! Avoid!

so just ordered a family meal and NOTHING on there says that it has any sauce or marination what so ever!!! the chicken is so spicy we cant eat it and its just gone to waste! called them up and the argument was you should have said on the comment not to make it spicy!!! I'M SORRY then you should mention it on the description that it has a marinate and to specify how SPICY WE WANT IT

Very cheap food compared to the rest of Wycombe. Free delivery with Just Eat. Friendly staff that recognise you. Adhere to requests.

We ordered a take away, waited an hour and were given lamb not chicken snd argued with staff for half an hour about it.

Saturday the 4th February, me and my friends were watching the football and fancied a bite to eat but did not want to leave the house. as chicken cottage was the only available takeaway we had no choice. we ordered are food they stated 45 minutes. I rang them at 12.30 and there I was at 2pm still no food. rang them up and they haven't even prepared or sent it out. not angry just disappointed to be honest.

Everytime I come here or family/friends come here, they mess up the order, it's very frustrating and even after repeatedly repeating the order back it's still wrong. Given up going there.

Asked to make chicken spicey.. And I get un-Spicey bland chicken. I even wrote on the note section in capitals. Someone please investigate because these fools never read the notes !!

It came 36 minutes after the estimated delivery time. It took 1hr 22 mins to arrive. It caused much distress to my daughter who kept complaining about being hungry. Will think it five times before ordering again online.

I ordered food from chicken cottage, as it's fast food and not bad on price, on a Monday afternoon. I ordered food at 15:10, well aware of the average 45 wait time. Please inform me why I'm still sat in my living room at 17:09, waiting. After constant attempts to call the store and find out what was taking the long delay, I was told constant lies by rude staff who didn't apologise. It started off with "the driver is leaving 2 mins", to the driver is stuck in traffic half an hour later. It's not worth the hassle, lack of apology and service. Avoid this store & chain at all costs

Absolute idiots!! Didn't receive items in my order and when I called the takeaway I was told to come pick it up or comeback another day for it. If I wanted to pick up my order I would not have paid a delivery fee. No apologies from them whatsoever. Did not care that I paid for something I didn't receive. Will NEVER order from here again. Ridiculous

The chicken and other foods served at Chicken Cottage are, predictably, very low in price, and equally as low in quality. Chicken is of an unrefined, poor, greasy standard, and the chips will scald your mouth in spite of being devoid of any flavour at all. Unless you're too drunk to read this review in full, for god's sake, do not buy from Chicken Cottage. The McDonald's a quarter of a mile away probably has higher food hygiene standards.

Whoever done the grilled chicken needs to learn to read. I wrote make chicken spicey! Yet that was ignored, chicken was tasteless and watery, HOW MANY times have I ordered from you ?? That was appalling ! you guys never bother reading the notes!!!!!!!!

Food is edible (only when drink is involved) and staff are OK I guess however ordering food is a nightmare. Ordered food over hour ago, tried calling High Wycombe store several times (no answer), went in website to contact store and was sent to a page to type a message. I typed the message, clicked send but then was sent to an Error 500 page. It said I could contact someone, sent email but email address given does not work. Finally got hold of High Wycombe store and they said they will be another 10 minutes... Still waiting 25 minutes later....

Il pollo un pò grasso ma sufficiente. Sono rimasto molto deluso dal personale. Avevo ordinato un menù comprensivo di ali di pollo, bibita e patatine, ma al momento del pagamento ho dovuto far presente loro che non mi avevano dato la bibita. Quando arrivo in hotel mi accorgo che nella busta mancavano tovaglioli, salse, nonostante fossero state richieste, e soprattutto le patate completamente prive di sale. Consiglio vivamente di controllare che nella busta vi sia quello che avete ordinato.

Hygiene is suspect at this place. lack of hand washing the waring of outdoor cloths for serving, handling money and serving food at same time. 50deg cold hot food service. I have given many chances but still fall short of anything close to acceptable
