Chick King in Nuneaton and Bedworth

Our delivery today was delicious. Fish and chips hot and fresh.

Chips were the best I have had in such a long time....would recommend this (only downside was the gravy was a little runny....!!!!)

The only chippy I use and have tried most in the area, good portions and quality is good 😊 keep up the great work

Stopped using chick king 18 months ago thought I will try again brought regular chips sf chicken beef onion paste battered sausage within 5 minutes of getting home it was Luke warn through it all in bin can anyone suggest a decent chippy andy

Every time I go in the portions are getting smaller..Will not use again.

On this occasion, the chips were dry, small, and hard. Not always as bad as this. Sometimes they are big, and greasy, just how we love them.

Asked for a large tray of lamb kebab meat got home and got a mixed kebab meat and chips which I did not ask for unusual as normally great service

Fish looked more like a battered sausage. Stop cutting your fish down. To make a bigger profit. Disgraceful

Have been getting my order delivered from the very beginning and they never disappoint. Food always arrives piping hot and any special requests are always fulfilled. Cannot recommend this place enough! Staff are always friendly whenever I have rang and so is the delivery driver 10/10

Possibly the best chippy going, but prices are becoming ridiculous, large chips barely feeds 3 people now. Their large chip portion is more like a small

The kebab was awful! Put the wrong sauce on, soggy salad, and who wants that much blinking onion. How can you even muck up a kebab? The person who served us was so glum and blunt, you can tell she didn’t want to be there. A simple smile or even change of tone would’ve been appreciated. The other lady in the shop seemed more upbeat, so a shame she didn’t serve us. The chips were ok, but it is a fish and chip shop so that’s the bare minimum. Would not recommend…

The two savolys I had today were had brown /black on one side of the both of them and they had to be thrown away. Very poor when usually a good service

Best chippy in Bedworth and they venture out to Nuneaton also, can't fault the food what so ever, piping hot on arrival if delivered and even if you go in, the staff are friendly and the food is superb, 5 star+ to be honest.

Always a decent meal from here, food is cooked nice and the staff are friendly and efficient.

Wow, I ordered a kebab from here and wow what a delight. Kebab nice and juicy lots of flavors. Will definitely adding this to my goto kebab shop, When driving through here. Also would like to say the delivery lady was very polite and a delight to speak to. Most people forget to say good things about delivery drivers! Thank you. The manfreight driver 😁👌

The doner meat was nice wouldn't say the best I've had but overall was a nice big portion and tasty

Worst kebab i've ever eaten. We ordered two kebabs with spicy chicken but got normal instead. The whole thing was cold and the meat was burnt plus the "salad" was literally only lettuce and onion. £13.90 is a ridiculous price for something that ended up in the bin!!!

Just had fish and chips at lunch time on 23/8/19. "Absolutely Discusting. " Could not put a fork in any of the chips, and the fish was inedible. What's happening Zack, you have just raised the prices, yet the quality has deteriorated. Will never go here again. Did not take up your offer of another meal because I am am not complaining for a freebee.

My wife came to chick king tonight around 7.30 ordered kebab with salad with chilli sauce and chips. The kebab was hard, I don't call salad just lettuce and onion and there was No chilli sauce, the salad was warmer than the chips. On the bright side she had a fish and she said it was very nice.

Phoned up to order a delivery like we always do to then be put on hold we could hear every thing they where talking about some said yes and others said no I went on for a few minutes felt like a dog waiting for scraps never felt so awkward 100% I will never order again customers service is shocking

Tried to order a delivery for tonight but the website isn't showing slots, so frustrating as we tried to order yesterday and had the same problem.

Best chippu in Bedworth & Nuneaton

This is the BEST chippy in the area and now it's no longer our closest we still like to go there BUT since we moved we have ordered delivery from here 3 times the first time the sauces didn't come with the food but they said we could have extra next time. The second time it was about 10 minutes late but 10 minutes isn't too bad. Then tonight! Well I ordered at 6.15pm it was suppose to be delivered by 7.25 , a 70minute wait but we was willing to do this for our fave chippy, by 7.45 I called the shop to ask were it was the guy said they had been busy but it would be with us in 10 minutes but it turned up at 8.10pm 45 minutes after the expected delivery time! Sorry but that is terrible we won't order delivery again Thanks for the reply. Maybe giving us a quick call would have helped a little or maybe adjusting the expected delivery time? Just a suggestion to help you not to loose custom.
