It's gone down a little, the foods not in the same league as some of its contemporaries, when it reopened a few years back, the food and price was excellent, but like so many other establishments maintaining this is difficult. I do hope it can pick up. Staff are friendly and will chat whilst serving you, but most of the time they're rushed off their feet.

Nice friendly pud with a good atmosphere a good selection of beers and wines a very nice decking area out side with good wooden benches and a good selection on the menu and the food and service is excellent most welcome pud

Nothing special, it's pub food so I wasn't expecting anything more than what we have had . Service and food were ok for a pub .

We were a party smaller than booked but no one bothered. We were well looked after food came out all together .very attentive staff . We had a bottle of Prosecco … it was served like champagne glasses had a raspberry in . In all was a very pleasant evening thank you . We will see you again

Had a lovely meal here to night, friendly staff not long to wait and well presented meal

Brought 2 pie mash and peas over microwaved both pies and could not cut them complained and changed the order no partial refund given except £1 each for the difference in order thennthe potato wedges cheese and bacon was barely warm very disappointed as it was meant to be a birthday meal wouldn't recommend these meals

Really lovely place for a bite to eat or relax in the sun with a drink, the staff are all friendly and the quality of the food was great.

I visited The Sunnyside Inn for a get together after a funeral and was very happy with everything, the food was good, drinks at sensible prices and the general atmosphere was good.

My regular since I first stopped here 6 months ago. New menu doesn't have the traditional Plough Man's (ham, cheese and pork pie), shame. Sunday Lunch Menu is good value.

This was our go to place, went at least once a week. Then they changed the menu it's no longer good. The skin on fries were like eating cardboard. Had a plaice at lunch time, it was just like the frozen ones you get in the supermarket. The prices have gone up and the quality down. Needless to say we have stopped going

Called in without a booking, but getting a table was no problem. Food was of a good standard and served quickly. Would definitely recommend.

Used to be our favourite place to eat but since, have changed the menu. Everything is served with skin on fries now which is disappointing and the prices have gone up. No option for the smaller portions anymore either.

Menu has changed and removed a lot of the old classics and prices have gone up way beyond reasonable therefore we decided to go somewhere else to eat, drinks and pub overall still nice

Service was OK very attentive, table quite sticky. Wasn't expecting it to be a big pub but wasn't to noisy . Plenty of room inside to eat. I had the lasagne bit stingy on the garlic bread just 2 small pieces. Hubby had the chicken mixed grill which was nice. So down to the price lasagne mixed grill 2 x Guiness a desperado and chocolate fudge cake £39.17. Not the best pub food we have, but for the price it was spot on.

Spotlessly clean, pleasant staff, great food, it is a locals pub, so choose your seat if you want a quiet meal. We were happy watching it rugby or footy and joining in.

Lovely place, we were picking somebody up in the area and stopoed for a pint and some tea. Food good and a big choice on the menu. Carling and johns for me and the mister so we were happy. Good pint. Lots of outdoor tables and seating areas. Lovely friendly staff. Would go again if were ever in the area again. A must if your local.

Absolutely fabulous place to eat lunch. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. Excellent menu and competitive prices. I took my guide dog puppy in there to socialise and they were so welcoming and supportive.

Good place to invite 15-20 friends and have a dinner 🥣 together. But the mix grill plate was no where near the grill. The chicken 🐔 breast was boiled and still pink... Expensive for what it has to offer

Will not be eating there again Tinned Carrots were raw. Told the waiter/barman and apart from looking surprised did nothing. He did not ask if the meal was OK until he came to clear the plates. Steak pie was very nice.
