What a find. Decent beer, and an on-site Indian takeaway as a bonus. No crowds and good prices.

I recently visited a pub with an outdoor Indian food stall, and it was an absolute delight. The seating area, partially covered with benches, provides a cozy atmosphere to enjoy a meal. Had a delivery order for the first time tonight was disappointed sheesh kebab was very bland, onion Bhaji wasn’t cooked in the middle, masala sauce very thin chicken and lamb was tender such a shame .

2 out of 4 cuuries were really lovely full of flavours , enough meat , really tender lamb , tikka massalla was a bit of let down too watery and too close to tomato sauce for italian meatballs , naans were great, service- when we ordered they said 15 min - it was min of 30 min- no problem , it just was't pleasant to wait for my curry around drunk people with bad language , swearing around my child , we tried 2 for 1 thuesday offer but if ever ordering again will ask for delivery

Used to be a OK pub if all you want is a pint, no bottled lager. Nice and cheap for the drink. The beer is flat and the pub itself smells. Could be a really nice place if tidyed up

Food arrived and it was luke warm and the quality of food was poor. Disappointed that this was a meal that could not be enjoyed.

This is the first time I've ordered from the boat, and I'll be ordering from them again in the future. I was really impressed with the food, which was tasty and full of flavour, and the lamb Rogan Josh was superb, as well as the Garlic Naan. Just one small gripe though. Can you please place the salad seperate from the Tikka starter? the heat from the chicken sent the lettuce soft, limp and unappealing.

A decent little pub with a large beer garden.

First time I'd been in for 4 years, great pub, top bar staff, enjoyed the band on the Saturday afternoon I was there, good friendly atmosphere, they was serving Carribbean food which looked lovely but I only had the beers, will visit more often. Must say I love the decking area.

This pub may or may not be good as after walking some 4miles to get there it was shut despite the website saying it was open, what a let down

Went in there last May friendly atmosphere unlike the Greyhound in Sutton Stop where if your face doesn't fit don't go in the only thing about the Boat is the overpowering Jukebox

Just had my first bacon baguette from there on tiger bread and wow the best I have had.bacon done perfect and the baguette loaf spot on.very friendly staff.highly recommended.

An all round decent pub, food and drink are both ok and its relatively comfortable. There is plenty of outdoor seating. Bit dated inside but still kept in good clean order. Staff are friendly and competent. I would recommend giving this place a go if you were passing by

Decided to try the Sunday dinner as we can walk there from our narrowboat. My GOD..amazing. the roasties, the veg, cauli cheese 😘 and the gravy...no words peeps 🥰💋💋

Went round with a couple of friends sat outside and had a bite to eat it was good . The only down side was customers were playing there own music outside which wasn't to everyone's taste .

Always been a great normal family pub. Still is. Now has a great no no sense cafeteria / grill / burger bar in its lovely beer garden and decking area. The Gutbuster is a huge fry up on the plate and the jumbo tiger bread sandwiches are also fantastic, both are for they very hungry or like me the very greedy yum yum yum.

Basic food. Bar could do with a face lift.

Great pub with friendly people, with a huge garden that has a big decking area.

No draught real ales at this time, evidence that they have previously beem available. It's best to enter via the car park entrance, as the pool room can be crowded.

First time we visited the pub as were moving into the area. A lovely family pub, nice and friendly people and we cant wait to pop in again! Just to mention we were offered a cheese platter on the house which we gratefully accepted, how nice was that?

Friendly staff. Was there for an engagement party, hospitality was amazing and the atmosphere of the place is wonderful. True classic pub experience. Best pint of Guinness also!
