Chick King in Birmingham

First time ordering had a bad experience I try to pay by card and one the staff member said if you want to pay by card will charge you £1 pound extra . Will never order again

One of the best takeaway shops in Birmingham, food is always fresh the grill burger is one the best. Wide range of food available and the staff are nice friendly and helpful.

Place might not look 5 star but the food is quality. The donner and chips is the star of the show closely followed by the chicken donner.

The chicken was really good, and the service was also really good, they served the food fast. It's only the atmosphere that was a bit bad, but it's not that much of a problem. I mean, it's takeaway only so that could be the reason why.

Food took ages and was very poor burger bun was microwaved so quite most chicken was dry and flavourless and chips had more salt in them then the bloody Atlantic Ocean I was very disappointed on the whole

Wouldn't recommend it at all... Food was not good quality l, chicken kebab was full of gristle. The salad is mixed so you have to make do with onion and cucumber if you want just lettuce... Chips tasted like they were made the previous day and reheated. I've also got the most upset stomach I've ever had. And service... Well he wasn't happy about getting off his phone to take my order ... Will not be going back.

Loved it here!! we always stop half way here from our trip from London to Manchester. The food is always great the chips are delish and the people are very nice they have free wings to my brother couldn’t be happier and will return as usual! May you get more barakah in your business 🩷🩷🥇

Old skool kebab shop like the late 80's to mid 2000's. Don't get donor meat like this anymore. Hits the spot not greasy like most places.

Great staff who have been there decades, friendly atmosphere, you can eat in, always a quick banter with the main man, if I go to a local chip shop around Handsworth this is no1. Always good quality food and good prices, if you haven't gone before and are thinking of it, you will not be disappointed. Best around.

This use to be my regular place. Food is decent. Nice staff. However, they have slipped up a few times. Portions are always inconsistent. Serving dried chicken (end of the night). On their day the food is nice but odd occasion can go the other way.

I used to go here regularly with my friend. Unfortunately the experience degraded over time. On one occasion, I specifically asked for a 'grilled' cheeseburger. Instead the staff deep-fry the beef patty. When I made it clear I wanted it grilled, they took it out of the fat-fryer, placed it on the grill which wasn’t even turned on and pretended that it was cooking. That was the last visit. Never again. When you sacrifice quality for quantity (again questionable) - you end up with mediocre grub.
