Bad food, do not eat here. They pay their employees £7 an hour and steal the tips. They hire illegals to do delivery. I highly suggest ignoring this place.

Bad food ! Service from the little girl was polite and nicely done and we didn't have too long to wait, but the food was awful , even put it out for the wildlife and they left it , the meat (cant say what meat , couldve been human cat or dog , don't think it was pork or chicken though ) was dry and stale . We ordered 2 x salt and chilli boxes, definitely wouldn't recommend !!!

Please fix the cooker hood, it is noisy. And the food is terrible, I don't recommend it!!!!

I'm a regular customer and this is probably the best Chinese takeaway in Coventry. Always massive proportion for an unreal low price. The menu has over 100 dishes to choose from and it took me 6 months to try everything they have.

Awful awful, no taste what so ever satay chicken which looked like it had been washed not cooked not worth half of what i had to pay for inedible food

Just order the chicken curry and fried rice and beef satay it was delicious spot on.

The freshest Chinese I’ve had in ages. First time I’ve tried this place and the food was piping hot, fresh as a daisy, portions were very generous. Best duck curry I’ve ever had and amazing chow mien. I love salt and chilli dishes and these guys do salt and chilli balls, which I’ve not seen before and they were amazing

Ordered on just eat, No food sent out, when contacted they were very rude! Money taken out of my account now trying to claim back ! DO NOT USE ! Update: Have now been informed by Just Eat that the restaurant has claimed that they had made the food so they will not be issuing a refund. Never had this problem with other restaurants on Just eat so in my opinion avoid using this takeaway

Have ordered from here several times, good food and very polite staff. The salt and pepper platter is a meal on its own (it's a combination of Chicken Bites, Spare Ribs, Spring Rolls, Chicken Balls & Chips with some sliced lightly cooked onions, spring onions and grated carrot throw in for flavour and to cut the grease i guess) and ideal as a late night snack after the pub, not very healthy on a regular basis but perfect after a few beers and ideal for fighting a potential hang over. The prices are reasonable and the meals are a decent size, neither too small or particularly big. The Szechuan dishes have a nice little bite to them - I find many places don't have the advertised spiciness about them. i found the Stir Fried Beef with Kung Po Sauce was a bit fatty and somewhat tough, but maybe that was just the portion of beef I happened to get in my meal as all other meals I have ordered from Cheung Sing have been tasty and succulent. I have only tried the beef, chicken and pork dishes so I can't comment on the duck and seafood meals. ​ Cheung Sing is one of my favourite Chinese take-aways in Coventry.

Nice food. Had special chow mein (dry), chicken satay, mushroom curry and chips after pub visit.

Once upon a time this was one of the best Chinese takeaways in Coventry! Sadly it’s now the worst providing very poor quality food! Tasteless bland imitations of what used to be exceptional ! In my opinion the food I ordered was terrible and tasted awful! Don’t waste your money here!

Just ordered from here and food was shocking 3 spring rolls 2 curry sauce 2 out of 3 where full of grease and looked like they where old very disappointed wont be going there again ever and I will make sure people I know won't either my husband has used this one for 50 years chicken curry was disgusting not how the old owners looked after there customers food was tasty and enjoyable NOT any more dont wast your money

No longer the best Chinese in Coventry. Wasn't aware it had changed hands until reading the reviews. After being disappointed that the food wasn't upto the usual standard I expect from Cheung Sing. Customer for 20yrs+

20 mins late, when arrived cold as, raw not cooked or mixed in the sauce, I phoned restaurant new management said had several orders at same time, I've used this takeaway for years, wouldn't recommend to anyone, very very very disappointed

Used here for years and told alot of others to use this Chinese was never disappointed. until now changed owners food is awful so will not be using here again.

I have been using this Chinese for more than 20 years. The recent change of management/ownership has meant a steep price rise and a drop in quality. I have been so disappointed with the food since the change. Such a shame. I won’t be using them again.

Been using Chung sing pretty much since it opened back in the 90s after last night's take away that'll be the last since the new owners took over the food is not as good as it was. Will have to find another Chinese takeaway from now on

Just been in I think new owner ordered curry and egg fried rice and some other stuff. Just got home 3 miles away to find out no egg fried rice so phone them up he said come and get it and put the phone down Bring back to old owners Just not right

Awful. 30 mins late. Duck over cooked and ROTTEN!!! Threw up within 30 seconds of first bit of duck. Meal for 3 so over £20 in the bin.

I am absolutely gob smacked and mortified the rudeness of the lady on the phone. She put the phone down on me twice saying “ don’t call again we don’t deliver to your area” in an aggressive tone. But you have been delivering to us for 6yrs every week. She still shouts and put the phone down. Thanks you have just lost £120 a month never will I order from this Chinese again

Not very impressed with Sweet and Sour chicken balls. Not even balls, just chicken pieces in batter. Sauce was just vinegar taste. No chunks of pineapple etc. Ordered fried rice but got boiled. Too far away to take it back for exchange. Only good thing was the prawn crackers. Big and tasty. Won’t be going there again. 😟

Went their. Thought I was intruding when I was ordering food got home the portion was small baby food size tasteless under cooked rice go their again NO CHANCE good to drive past strange person who gave 5 stars looks like the person who serves their ?

I ordered from this restaurant via justeat. After 20 mins they notified us that they had decided not to accept our order, by which point it was too late to order from everywhere else.

We just got takeaway and it was 1.40 hrs to deliver! The food wasn't great and they charge £4.80 for won ton soup which says on their menu it's £2.50!!

Ordered food, waited, my food got announced, picked up went home ,sat down to eat. Totally wrong food. Drove back, told them that they gave me wrong food. Reply was "you took wrong food, here's your food" I asked for it to be reheated twice before they agreed. Totally rude as always, no social skills. Been going there oñ and off over a decade. Great food shame about the people who run it. Will I go again? Probably in 2018.

Amazing Chinese food, best food I've tasted everyone who eats from here on my recommendation makes this their new Chinese takeaway! Food is amazing and portion size is good, delivery can be 45 minutes to just over an hour purely because they are so popular.

After waiting over 1 and half hours food arrived. Hot food is the only thing you can say. I've never had such bad Chinese food in my life. Pineapple and onion is what we paid for. The meat was cheap and tasteless. Will never order from here again.

Just ordered and rang to pay over the phone, can't believe how RUDE she was. I will not be going to collect my food and will be taking my business elsewhere. Pure arrogance and horrendous customer service.
