I recently enjoyed an unforgettable experience at the Signal Box, Coventry. Thanks to the incredible staff. From the moment I arrived, their warm smiles and genuine hospitality made me feel right at home. The service was out of this world—every interaction was met with enthusiasm and a desire to help. The friendly atmosphere created by the staff was truly special; they treated guests like family and went above and beyond to ensure a memorable experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this place for its outstanding customer service, 100%! Thank you to all the wonderful staff for making my visit so enjoyable. I can’t wait to return!

Visit very regular. Staff very friendly always have a laugh. Very knowledgeable and attentive will visit again for sure. Enjoyed some Nachos on this visit.

Terrible staff, terrible service. The food took a long time to arrive, the cake was frozen after 50 minutes of waiting.. Now I understand why it's empty on Friday evening. This place will soon go BANKRUPT if the management and staff don't change.

The new menu has some decent items on it. Would highly recommend the Southern-Fried Chicken Texas Toast.

Staff were amazing. I have food intolerances, and they were more than happy to check for allergens for me. They were attentive as always, making sure we were happy with our food. The food itself was amazing (I would recommend the steak and ale pie!) and it was a good sized portion. The price was very good for such good quality and service.The atmosphere was warm and welcoming and me and my daughter will definitely eat there again.

Needs a deep clean we moved tables couple of times and everyone was sticky and horrid. Food was OK tbf just really needs a clean

My daughter meal got taken off the menu in Signal Box Coventry and staff member called Reece went extra mile to put her meal together on his own. Really appreciate his effort. Staff is very friendly. We usually book conservatory area for our children’s birthdays and Jayne always go above and beyond to make it a good experience, she is great host and landlady.

The starter was 3 cold mushrooms on a slice of garlic bread the rump steak was tuff and cold chips were cold and the veg was cold plus the fact you have to go fetch your own cutlery. We will never visit the resturant again

Drew was really helpful and attentive made sure we we had everything we needed and everything with are food was fine wasn’t to happy with the steak but he made up for it and turned the experience around thank you drew

My daughter got food poisoning from an uncooked beef burger

This is a great place to take kids! The place is a bit grubby but I’m giving it 5 stars all around because the prices are so good, the atmosphere is great and the staff are friendly. They have a play area outside which our children enjoyed a lot (ages 4 and 9). I’ve seen mixed reviews about the food and I imagine some of the dishes might not be a high standard but the prices are very reasonable. I had the jerk chicken meal, under the specials, and it was delicious! I highly recommend this place for a family meal out.

Food is awesome , friendly atmosphere. Kids play ground is great when you out with family. We love it .

Came in and there were plenty of tables available. Service was through the app though I t wasn’t clear that cutlery, napkins and sauces etc you had to get yourself. Food came within a reasonable time and was hot. The lamb flatbread was definitely the best of the meals we had and then the sizzler and the platter which was a little underwhelming. Overall not a bad place for a cheap eat.

Cheap price as a positive,one hour waiting time for food,dirty table within one hour wasn't cleaned ,everything in overall was dirty.Lots of crying screaming kids .In overall food was OK but woudnt order 2nd time.Used to be a nice place with decent food .

This is officially our favourite place to eat as a family. The staff are always so welcoming, friendly and funny. The food genuinely tastes incredible, the chicken on the mixed grill is honestly the nicest thing I have ever eaten. It's so tender, every time. The food is perfectly cooked, never burnt, never randomly of lower quality than previous visits. The kitchen will bend over backwards to cater to your own personal tastes and preferences, no request is too much. Our child is on the spectrum and struggles with a lot of food, so we ask for a meal that isn't even on the menu, and they make it without fuss. And the waiting times are almost non existent so it seems. Always flies by. Honestly, you need to visit this place. We would eat there every day if we could afford it. And my own personal shout out to Jayne, give that woman a pay rise. She makes us feel like family.

Came for a quick dinner. The food was lovely. Adam was lovely and well spoken.

Lovely place to eat and drink and all staff are very welcoming and it’s an all round lovely place to spend time with family and friends.

Good value good, friendly staff :) Very quiet when we went which meant atmosphere was lacking a little, but it was a midweek evening!

Very welcoming place with friendly, helpful staff team and great food

Food was a little bit disappointing this time, compared to our previous visits. The garlic bread was very small with the lasagne and when went to the bar to ask if that was the usual size was told yes it was. Also peas came with another meal, when had specifically asked for no peas. No-one came over at any point to ask if meals ok, as if had would have mentioned the above issues.

Slow service, cup and spoon both stained. Not a good start. Food passable, but not as good as the sister pub in Warwick, the hungry horse.

The beer isn't great. The food is OK but what they do actually cook themselves isn't great. Not one of the best green kings I've been to tbh. I've tried a few different largers in there and it just doesn't taste clean. I couldn't tell if it was the glasses or the lines. The location isn't great either. The park part and the outside area are good. Good place for kids to run about. I'll just drink from bottles next time and take a sandwich.

Walked in & unfortunately a party of 15 just checked in front of us. Food took a little bit longer, staff prewarned us, but it was worth the wait. Staff were great and food excellent.

Staff we helpful and friendly and was also good to help with my daughters birthday and cake.

My Gammon was booked to perfection, juicy and tasty (and I got 3 big pieces) sweet potato fries were crispy and lovely. The service from Jess was outstanding and she went above and beyond. Fabulous atmosphere and food is very reasonably priced. All round great evening.

Husband ordered our meals unfortunately the person misheard what he ordered for me ( I could hear what he ordered which was the steak sizzler) this was very quickly sorted out and with an apology of a free dessert which we couldn't take as stuffed full with our brilliant meal, totally will be back loved it

Lovely place to eat ! Fun bar tenders and great smiley service, only fault I would like to mention is not being able to eat out side with our friend who has his dogs (which sadly was not permitted inside) besides that everything was amazing ! Thanks guys :)

Staff vey friendly and welcoming

Serving meals on burnt plates is... you decide for yourself. Standard meals, desserts served with tablespoons.

A good variety on the menu, tasty and adequate portion sizes, staff were also good. Good value for money and includes a satisfactory play area for the kids. Only con is the waiting time before your meal is served and the tables could be cleared quicker and cleaned appropriately. Overall a 4 star rating, will definitely be revisting this restaurant

Don't tend to go for food very often, but it's standard pub grub. Do go over for a drink once in a while. Good little play area for kids outside. Enough outdoor seating and indoor seating. Arcade machines for kids, little tvs by the booths, big screen in bar side. Quiz night was good, all done via an app. Monday night staff are great 👍🏻 good little local pub.

We received a really friendly welcome upon arrival. Deanna met us with a big smile and a friendly greeting. Parking was free and plentiful. Clean and welcoming. A great menu had lots of deals on for every taste and food tolerance. We had fish and chips which came with a large and really fresh and juicy whole fish. The bar tender brought our plates and asked if we wanted extra sauces. Great portions. Great service. Great price. Great choice. Easy to find location. We highly recommend the Signal Box for an affordable mid- week family treat We look forward to ordering puddings now ! 10/10

We had a wonderful time last night at The Signal Box, my partner had the Crown Burger Sliders and I had the 8 Oz Rump Steak. Food came out quickly and it was all cooked wonderfully. I really wanted my meal edited so went to the bar to order and my partner orded on the phone app, Jayne kindly helped out to make sure food came out together. My partner also had difficult using the app ordering a drink with a voucher, so I went to the bar and Jayne once again was so very helpful, she was a star and made our evening even better.

We came here for the first time, we sat at a table with our 4 year old which was sticky and the chairs felt dirty, the shelves behind our table were dusty and it generally felt dirty in there. We ordered our food at the bar, wrong dish was brought out which was quickly rectified but honestly the food was terrible. My partner had a “crispy chicken sandwich” which looked nothing like the photo and the chips looked raw, I had a sizzler steak but the roasted veg underneath tasted strange like they had been in a freezer for. long time . Overall very disappointed with the food here and we’ve both agreed we wouldn’t return.

Popped in for lunch both had fish, chips,and mushy peas which was excellent. Beautiful white fish not greasy at all,really good portions. Staff friendly, helpful and efficient. 3rd time of having the fish and never been disappointed.

Ordered 3 meals yesterday and to be honest all 3 where of poor quality, my daughter had the fish that should have a tomato based sauce but tasted like a cheap can of tomato soup, no flavour at all the mash was powdery in the middle but crusty round the edges, I had the chicken skewers with jacket potato, the skewers where slimy and mushy absolutely awful and the jacket was rock solid. My partner had the chicken sandwich which again the chicken was mushy , he ordered the gherkin gravy which had no flavour whatsoever, when bought to the managers attention she didn’t even apologise she just blamed everyone else, I get most of the food is bought in and microwaved that’s why it’s so cheap but clearly the microwave was on the blink, mine was a sizzler and nothing was sizzling when it came out. Chicken skewers should not be mushy like that unless they are cooking them from frozen. Clearly a recipe for food poisoning. Based on the managers poor attitude I won’t be back there and definitely striking hungry horses off my list.

My daughter says “It was amazing I loved the ice cream and the strawberry sauce 3 scoops and I loved the food, I like the decor and claw machines”. We come here a lot for the convenience and consistency in delivering good food. Friendly staff are always welcoming and accommodating. Definitely recommend 👍🏻😊
