Chetwynd Arms in Nuneaton and Bedworth

First time we tried it and we enjoyed it. Service was very good . The food what we ordered was lovely. We shall definitely be going again.

Couldn’t book table, any alternative to call them??

Ten of us booked in for a meal, the food was top drawer (massive portions) the staff were excellent with the gaffer even waiting on us with our drinks..have since taken the wife and kids for food and had an equally pleasant experience.... absolutely spot on, thank you.

So glad we booked, was standing room only when we arrived the place was buzzing. Had to wait a little for our food because of the amount of tables eating in but expected at this time of year and the pub is so popular. Food was fantastic as always, atmosphere was great, so nice to see a local pub so supported by its local community.

Without a shadow of a doubt the worst service of any pub I’ve ever been to food came out at different times my sister even got her pudding before her main course my wife hadn’t received her food and we’d ate ours and she still hadn’t had her pathetic place I’ll never set for in here again if I could give - stars I would

Wow! Popped in here for my dinner, I’d heard that the Chinese food is very good. It was a early Friday evening and the place was rammed. Despite that, the service was great at the bar and the food was brought to my table quickly enough. This is the most community feeling pup that I have ever been in. People of all ages were celebrating the end of the working week. I asked a local if it was always like this, yes, it’s normal for a Friday. There are a few full sized snooker tables, dart board and a couple of TV’s showing sport. Cash only for the Chinese food, but you can get cash back at the bar. All the Bar staff were super friendly and helpful, which was nice to experience. Excellent ale and the food was as expected, I’m not really a big fan of Chinese food, but the options in this area were pretty limited.

Best Chinese in Nuneaton hands down

First time visit. Very friendly staff behind the bar. Chinese had an extensive menu and all the dishes we chose were delicious. Can't wait to return

This place used to be best around the Coventry and Nuneaton area to see its demise to what we were served today is astonishing . Special chow mein had almost zero meat in it.Tasted like greasy, Warm prison slop.Chips been reheated to the point there’s no potato in them and chicken balls dripping in fat . Wouldn’t feed this food to a dog. There is absolutely no way this is the same chef or kitchen owner as a few years ago

Typical estate pub, reasonable selection of cask beers, well kept. Friendly landlord and staff. Can also recommend the Chinese Kitchen, eat in or take away but not open on Mondays (except Bank Holidays)

First time here, atmosphere is brilliant 👏 Landlord served me just after close which as everyone appreciates, is the now or never short. Definitely recommend!! Dan, Ian and Sharon.

Went for a drink with the wife. No complaints. Nice bar staff. Decent beer. Quiet enough to have a chat and be heard but some decent enough music. All we needed!

staff didn’t know i had booked a table even though i rang hours before, stuck us in a corner out of the way, was told by customers to move for the dart board, dinner came 1h 30 minutes after ordering when told it would not be too long. all round poor experience, good food, appalling service. if you’re looking to go in and order don’t bother, they prioritise the takeaway and you will wait a long time.

No order to the meal. starters arrived, only then to wait ages for the main courses which were totally wrong. Then when questioning what had been ordered, To be told kitchen staff don’t speak English. !!!! Very disappointed !!!’ Stick to take ways !!! Better than eating in the pub.

Thursday night , empty restaurant and still waiting for takeaway order an hour later. Won’t revisit!

They can not do enough for you, and the food is amazing. I highly recommend this place.

Best Chinese and a decent pint 👌🏻

Shocking service tonight booked for over 30 of us to eat took over a hour for my family of 5 to get all our food it came out dish by dish 10 minutes apart 🙈 our starter came last asked for takeaway boxes to go

Food and staff were great. Portion sizes are good. Pub atmosphere brilliant. Thoroughly enjoyed our night up the Chetwynd and already planning our next visit with friends.

As usual, we have thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The food was tasty and good portion. The only improvement I would suggest is to invest in better napkins: the one we were given were smaller and thinner then handkerchief.

Never had a bad take away or dine in from here. The food is spot on. Cooked to perfection, good portions and reasonably priced. Would be fab if they delivered but it’s worth collecting 😊 10/10

Always had good food. No longer open on Tuesdays.

I didn’t actually visit, I was in a house very close, however what I saw of The Chetwynd is all good. It’s not shabby outside, it has a good car park and when patrons leave they seem to have respect for the neighbours. If I were the sort of fellow to frequent drinking establishments then this is somewhere I would want to go.

Food was good but had a long wait a few things got mixed up and you eat in the bar with sticky tables and loud bar noises

Best Chinese in Nuneaton by far. the food is always piping hot fresh, hubby will stand and have a pint while the food is being cooked. the pub i a fantastic local run by a truly lovely man. he takes care of the pub perfectly. if i had one gripe i would be offer delivery lol but that is all 10/10
