Very bad customer service all the time

The food here is lovely and the service but currently the halal certificate they have is out of date (see picture). I hope you rectify this @chesterssevenkings. I believe they have now updated the certificate. Thanks

Used to be crap, but pretty good now.

Had to wait 30 minutes for a simple order, with no other customers in the shop. Customer service was horrible also

Racist Staff when i ordered my beef burger the staff was looking at me inappropiate way as if they gonna hit me nd passing comments to each other. Zero Manners of customer service specially the guys who stand in front in the till. Very disappionted with the service. All though food was good.

Today 20th February 2025 , just order a combo meal £5.79 I believe, the fries was okay, but chicken was so dry and very chewy, look at the chicken prices, it’s look like old chicken pieces,am not happy , I try ringing on there shop, no answer. I have no option to put bad reviews.

Have been going there for ages and only this branch. Amazing service and always fresh food.

I waited 35min for my order of 6 meals. They messed up my order and didn't try to rectify it. Instead trying to serve me cold food. At the end wasted my time and got a refund without an apology.

We ordered 3 complete meals but they didn't give us the whole meal offer and they couldn't be bothered either when we mentioned they told us it doesn't come with this meal even though it says on their menu. I couldn't be bothered to argue so I just left it like that. Won't be going next time. The place wasn't tidy either.

Chicken quantity was very low and cheese was too much I ordered tandoori chicken pizza and wings taste was so bad and even was not fresh

I order a pizza around 2am in morning however i waited over 30 minutes and i ask a guy if my order is ready instead he look for my order he ask me wait another 10 minutes however i can see that my order is already ready behind him and he make me wait for no reason and busy conversation around the people they know. I use to be regular customer for cheester but such a behaviour is unprofessional and their staff is very ignorant and have no manners how to do customer service.

Chicken over fried. Tried to order specific chicken and was not given it. Was cold and they didn’t put on any heaters.

I visited Chesters Seven Kings last night to grab some pizza, and while the food was really good, I was disappointed by the service. There was a guy named Vikas, who introduced himself as the manager, but he lacked basic customer service etiquette. Not only did he make inappropriate jokes about me being Sikh by saying ‘12 baj gaye’ (which felt disrespectful), but my order also took an unusually long time to be prepared. When I inquired about it, I felt as though he treated me like I was there to eat for free, which was incredibly off-putting. I really hope they address these issues, as the food is great, but customer service needs improvement.

I’ve placed an order on uber eats and this guys took 40 mins to get the order ready and when the order was ready their driver couldn’t deliver because the bike broke down, I’ve asked them to help me in a reasonable manner or to send me a different order but they refused. Very bad service!!

Filet-O-fire was very good. Chips were very well seasoned! 4 different seasonings. Wings were delicious (20wings for £10. Decent value). Good seating space too. Open till 3am too!

What a joke of a shop, takes 20mins to make a quarter pounder. They dont take orders on the phone for fried chicken or burgers but only grill or pizza, u either take orders or you dont. And some rude guys serving food n taking orders. Disgusting

Nothing more worst than this branch customer service, there was this customer that had an argue instead of taking blame each staff shouted at him and when he went they start abusing him.

Visited Chester’s during my recent UK trip and it lived up to the hype! Food was delicious and service was on point! Will be revisiting for sure!

I really enjoyed my first visit to Chesters, the food was cooked to a good standard, and the price is well worth it. I feel like I had a Nandos but not at Nandos prices. Would I recommend, yes I would. The only thing I would prefer is cutlery that isn't wooden forks and knives and some plates to eat the food off of if you are dining in. Also, could you add chicken thighs to your menu? I didn't see them on the menu, hopefully I didn't just miss them.

They degrease the grill with chemical degreaser after each use when they should be doing that the end of day.

Disappointing. This was not a chicken tandoori pizza. The chicken was shredded on the base.The ingredients seemed thrown onto the crust carelessly, everything was crumbled, lacked flavor, and poorly presented. To be avoided.

This place has fallen off, used to be so good, the chicken burgers are too small now; more lettuce than chicken.

Went to the Seven King's High Rd shop. Very busy as expected. Service was good but the food didn't live up to expectations. Well and truly disappointed. The wings were overcooked, looked burnt and very oily. I am sorry to say that I had to throw them away. 🙁 Maybe the oil change had been overlooked?

Their chicken wings are consistently great but Pizza can be hit or miss! Two times I really enjoyed their pizza but last time it was very dry and lacked sauce and cheese both. Value for money I would say.

I've been going to this place for years. Burgers are great. value for money. I normally get the ringer burger! Update July 2024: This place has gone downhill. Service isn't there anymore. And the burgers don't even taste that great anymore. Tried a classic burger a few times. All turned out the same. Dry and and hard

I ordered last night via just eat and my order was late due to delivery issues. I called this business and the company representative provided very good support by arranging a delivery fixed to me by calling the just eat help line for me. This level of customer service is very remarkable as it's not expected.. especially past midnight. Thank you so much for the support provided. All the best with your business. Happy customer

Standards have fallen so low, the fried chicken is foul and stale tasting. Worst chicken I have tasted in sometime, couldn't be saved by the decent fries. Never going back.

Absolutely fantastic food , great deals

The staff are a bunch of absolute RE*ARDS that simply can’t follow any instructions no matter how many times you remind them. This is the case every single time I either order or go in store. I don’t recommend going here purely because it’s ran by idiots that don’t even like to rectify your issues. They also speak bad about customers in their language whilst serving them.

Very tasty food and we both enjoyed it. Tempted to order from here next time but I’ll see. Food was perfectly cooked and the wings were very tasty and proper East London, normally wings are bland or small from other shops but Chester’s seem to have the old school classic no holding back wings. Pizza was decent too and the chips were good. Only critique is that it took nearly an hour to prepare and then get it to us from the moment of ordering, which for London is pretty slow and we don’t live too far from the place.

Poor quality food and Poor service

I ordered 5 wraps for Takeaway and when I checked them they had uncooked strips and the wrap itself was soggy. Unprofessional staff dont know what they doing. If there was an option for 0 I would've gave them 0. Highly disappointed.

Terrible service. Ordered 3 wings and chips. The man serving me was barking orders at others and refused to do anything himself. Waited over 20 minutes , many people came after me with large orders and left before me. Ended up getting a refund and leaving.

Ordered a veggie wrap which was delicious. But the wedges were too oily.

On the menu up on the wall For a Smash burger, fries & a drink £10 looked impressive, until when I saw what I got! Shockingly baaaad! The burger looked like a cheap plastic toy, the hot wings are nothing but horrible n tasteles! Fries & sauces taste vile! What was most absurd is that inside of the restaurant, it was dirty with uncleaned tables & extremely smoky with fumes! I mentioned it to the guys at the serving counter but did nothing. In the end I left there stinking of grill food and itchy eyes! Never ever going there, it’s run by infants! Most disgraceful food we’ve ever had! Do not recommend and avoid!💯💯💯

Hi I’m regular customer for this shop lately the food quality and service are really bad yesterday bought burger and wings from them the burger bun have smell and fillet and wing are really awful totally waist of money will never go there. Just add bank payment receipt as well totally waist of money

Lots of staff behind the counter but no one visit dining area side and all tables were dirty which were empty. Floor full of fries and ketchup mayo (see attached photo). Staff wearing behind the counter when talking to each other. I have to request the staff that you are so many behind the counter so can you send someone to clean the tables. One came cleaned our table but left the corner floor as it is.

Management it’s not the same any more plus food Quality has been dropped

I am a local and have seen this place change from Dixy to Chesters. Over the years the quality of the food has gone down. We used to order twice a week. Now we barely eat Chesters once a year. The last 3 times we've eaten here, every one of us suffered stomach upset. Last time the chicken was still pink inside. It's a shame the quality of the food has gone downhill.

Half order received burger half eaten grill chicken burnt BUT when called the seven Kings branch I was told it is NOT THIER problem and contact the driver the staff are very RUDE STAY AWAY FROM THESE FRAUDSTERS NEVER ORDER FROM THEM

Good price, good portion, the chips were fresh and burger was fresh. Just wish they heated the buns up. But overall good.

I purchased five chicken burger meals from Chester today. While the burgers themselves were satisfactory, unfortunately, all of our chips were excessively salted, rendering them inedible. It felt like a waste of money. The lack of response from the staff when we raised the issue was disappointing. Despite bringing it to their attention, there was no effort made to rectify the situation or even acknowledge our complaint. This experience highlights the importance of effective customer service. When issues arise, customers expect a prompt and satisfactory resolution. Unfortunately, in this instance, the lack of response left a sour taste in our mouths. Moving forward, I hope the establishment takes customer feedback more seriously and implements measures to address such issues promptly.

Very poor quality pizzas. Avoid ordering pizzas and fries from this place. Customer service was also very basic, almost non existent.
