Chesters in Preston

Why is no one talking about the cardboard!? This used to be my favourite takeaway in 2011, then upto 2023 it's been awful. Now it's gone better quality again with the chicken... However this " new " > 3 months old + tastes like complete cardboard.... It makes the burgers taste of the stuff and it's horrible!

Food Arrived late 1 late. Half of my order was missing. I've ordered a mega family box. And I've got 2 burgers and I ment to get 3. I've got 3 fries and I was ment to get 18 piece chicken and I got 9. I've called and the customer service was terrible. They said that they checked the camera and we got everything but we didn't and they yelled at us throuth the phone. So never ordering there again.

Ordered my food. And I've got 1 Missing burger and 10 Missing Chicken wings. I've called them and they said that where lying. The service was extremely rude and all they shouted in my mouth

Went out of their way to help me navigate the right website. Foods always really good. Good size chicken pieces. Better than kentucky's. Seriously

The quality & delivery of the food was fine however the service from the shop was poor. I realised I had made a mistake with 1 pizza, immediately called Chester’s only to be told the pizzas were in the oven. I explained the order was made at 5.27 & I was calling at 5.29 (3 pizzas & a garlic bread) but guy was not for budging insisting they were all already in the oven. I explained I was able to cancel order with just eat & payment was at pending, still not budging for sake of 1 small change :(

It was dry greasy and just very unpleasant from when I had it the last time chips were stale and unpleasant

Food arrived cold and the chicken fillet burger was tough, dry and stringy like it had cooked for too long, iv always given a good review for the quality of the food, but today it was poor

I want to place a order but the the pizza is delicious but the staff is very rude at the customerous when their in call I may say the branch manger not to encourage that type of person as workers

It didn’t arrive second takeaway in one night we waiting up for, for it not to get delivered we waited for over an hour we ended up making some food, full on ruined our Friday night!!!

Quantity of chicken pop corns delivered was less than paid.

I could even rate negative! Beef was the topping which was never said or selected, instead of being sorry for their misconduct all they did was covering up for old employee by scapegoating newbie and trying to convince it was mere a mistake! This was totally unacceptable, kindly check your order twice before collecting!

They initially accepted our order via Preston Eats then cancelled it 20 minutes later. No reason given

My experience was absolutely horrible I specifically said DONT PUT MAYO ON MY WRAP yet they have the audacity to do it I’m appalled as I’m a VERY loyal Chesters’s chicken buyer but I will never be happy while ordering my food we are done Chester’s chicken

Worst food, wings are too hard and chicken is not fresh. Not recommend to anyone.

We normally buy from here. Recently the chicken and chips salting has been extremely salty and few of our family members had skin coming off our tong. I called in to say this and they say it’s not their fault. They get it default from headquarters and will inform them. Extremely unhappy with the food and service! Will never be buying from here again!

Whenever I feel lazy to cook something or starving, The first option for me is Chesters and their Pizza. Normally I used to 7” Pizza with 3 topping that we can choose and it’s a meal pack including chips and a drink and all for £4.49, which I found it as a cheap option. I’m not saying those were one of the best, but yeah, was a good one. Chips were good too. Don’t forget to ask for the sauce. And there’s no Dine In. Takeaway only.

Delivery - the driver kept putting the phone down as I was helping him find my address, even though I had pinned my location. Overall was very rude even when he arrived. The food was very dry/ stale, like the chips had been sat there for ages before being boxed up.

Ordered a delivery online from their website, asked for red peppers and got green and no other toppings. When calling to explain I was placed on hold then they hung up. I wouldn't mind but I wasn't abrupt or shirty with them, obviously unable to handle any questions or know what to do in this instance. Unsure why they seem happy to loose customers over the cost of adding the correct topping. Nice place but seem to employ chimps to answer the phone.

Never had the chicken pieces , since I've never heard anything good about it The chicken burgers also don't look appealing The pizzas however is always a go to, always taste the best and cheap. The garlic bread with cheese is the best garlic bread I've had

My food arrived stone cold and late!!

My sister ordered food from Chesters, when the driver arrived he only gave her half of her order. When she tried to tell him he did not understand what she was saying and was getting defensive saying that was all the ordered. When she rang the store to ask them where the rest of her food was, they were quite rude to her over the phone saying they gave the food to the driver its not our problem and while she was trying to talk to them they hung up on her. Turns out, the delivery driver did have the food in a different compartment of his bag without realising.

Food is nice, however new packaging with the burgers gives it a strong cardboard flavor.. Which is not nice.

Waited well over 1 hour for delivery for food to arrive freezing cold called the shop to be put on hold and then told delivery driver said foot was not cold when delivered asked for food to be collected for a refund but delivery driver never turned back up … how does the delivery driver know if the food is cold when all bagged up … disgusting customer service who would eat a cold takeaway?? **do not order delivery from here** waste of your money!!!!!

I placed an order today for a 12" pizza through Uber Eats but, unfortunately, forgot to tick the dip option. When I called the restaurant to ask if they could add a dip to my order, the guy immediately refused, saying they've stopped providing dips. Yet, whenever I order directly from the restaurant, they always include dips. What a peculiar practice! It's almost as if they’ve decided that the sheer act of ordering through Uber Eats renders one undeserving of the luxury of dips. Bravo on maintaining such a bafflingly inconsistent policy!

Was extremely late and arrived cold

Ordered by call and went in to collect 20 min later. The worker said that he hasn’t received any calls as I must’ve rang the wrong place. There was proof of the call on the call history. No apologies after blaming me for not ordering. He was willing to take my order and made me wait 30 min extra. Food still wasn’t ready, ended up walking out. Poor service from Chester’s

pizza was horrible not exactly cheap and had no taste

12” garlic bread missing and 2 large fries. Called restaurant to have the phone put down on me not good. Can’t get in touch with just eat to get refund 😡

The food was freezing one of the garlic breads went straight in the bin the other atleast looked like the garlic breads that we usually get the other i had to through because it looked as if it had been chucked around the street left for 2 days then re cooked as all the hedges was burnt and the rest of it looked absolutely weird i can see what as happened it as either been sent back by a customer andyou have sent it me so you didnt lose out on money or it was from an order that got cancelled either way i am fuming still hungry andout of pocket it’s ridiculous ive never complained in my life but this as got my back up im so angry and wont be ordering from chesters ever again

Popcorn chicken meal and pizza meal was missing

the so called "supreme burger" was absolutely tiny it was a shock, i wouldnt buy burgers from this place in my opinion, the pizza was alright though

BELIEVE the Bad Feedback... Spicy pizza horrible, supreme burger looked dead, soo dry hard to eat. Fries cold and hard. Drink warm. Expensive for NOTHING. Didn't take pictures because I was shocked. Never again !!!!!!! !!!!!!!

I am not complaining! As I get to go to bed a bit earlier than expected. So that's a bonus for me. 😀

Missing both meals rang shop very rude on the phone and un helpful

I ordered early hours in the morning but accidentally fell asleep and missed them delivering it. My fault but i rang them in the morning to ask for my money back or something for my moneys worth but they lied to me saying I’ve got the wrong Chester’s restaurant number. I rang up the other Chester’s number they gave and they said they don’t deliver before 5. So they were lying. I then went onto the just eat app and dialed the restaurant number on here. It’s the exact same one I rang in the first

The sauce is something else generous with the topping can’t go wrong 10/10

Food here is made quick and fast. All pizzas are freshly made and they are nice.

First there was Fat Rude boy, absolutely no respect or welcoming, now another clown who just had hair cut, I used to go there 3 4 times a week, and I couldn’t be given two souces, he says only one, when Ive been a regular customer, very disappointed , do you go bankrupt if you had given me one extra souce ? You people are not fit to run business. dont ever wanna see you lots again.

Chester's for me is always a good experience. The food is great, proces are great and the kids love it.

the chicken wrap was okay, but the chips were plain and bland. no seasoning whatsoever, not even salt. spicy chicken wasn't even spicy, was more salty but alright.

The only problem with Chester’s is their service. They are always rude as if I owe them something. I like the taste which is the only reason which brings me back.

The delivery person did not call when he arrived and left the food in front of the main building but it’s not where our flat is. As he left the food outside it was very cold and hard and was not up to quality which we got before. I saw the food only because I did a random check in front of the house. It is the first time I am having this issue and we are very much DISAPPOINTED. Please make sure it won’t happen again. Thank you.

Missing a drink from the meal and the chips were appalling. Not fresh at all super soggy and tasted like they were sat there for ages. We asked for separate sauces and they were put all over the chips.

No queuing system in place at all! Can't tell if someone has ordered or is waiting to be served. Was also standing around for 10 minutes with no one there willing to serve me. Ended up walking out. Not worth my time.

Ordered through Preston Eats. Delivery driver dropped off a can of Miranda and a cold bag of chips and nothing else. I rang the shop and they put me on hold for ten minutes. I rang again and they put me on hold for another 15 minutes. I rang again and they told me the immigration department came for some chicken, so I asked if they could simply provide me with the meal I asked for and they told me they could do but they only have one driver and they don't know how long it will take. I then asked again to clarify what they were saying and they said two guys were taken away by the immigration department (?!) So they couldn't talk to me. I said are they able to deliver my owed meal and they said they don't know. I asked for a refund and they said I could through an app I didn't order through. I just spent £8.50 on some cold fries and a can of pop. I emailed Preston Eats and have no idea whether I'll get a refund. I just wanted a chicken burger through a local takeaway service after a couple of beers before bed. I ended up on a wild adventure and have no idea if I'll get my money back. Would probably steer clear if I were you.

Food was fantastic fabulous superb enjoyable

Absolutely disgusting. Avoid at all costs. Super salty, processed meat, we were about to vomit. And don’t even ask about the fries, they taste like rocks, super hard and small like those that you buy in a crisp pack. 🤮🤮🤮

Staff members are very rude. Seems like they don’t like working for this store. I ask one of the staff members when is fresh chicken coming because there was only few dry pieces left which my kids will not like. I could see its cooking but staff replied with a biggest lie that we don’t cook unit these few pieces will go. I said they are dry and woke off.

Been ordering from you for about 10 years, cos I love the nice & spicy pizza! Last time I'll order from you ever again! Uber driver turned up without my pizza, so rang you & you said its cos the uber driver didnt pick it up🙄...3 phone calls later, even put the uber driver on the phone, you then said that youd left it on the counter & didn't actually give it to him. I asked can you send me a new one with free delivery? ...you put the phone down on me 4 times!!! oh well ill be putting bad reviews everywhere. I've probably spent about a grand with you & you can't even be bothered to sort 1 pizza out. Silly of you really.

Waited an hour so not to bad. Food come cold. The burgers had to be the worst out of a bad bunch. Bun was hard and snapped on picking it up. Chicken in the burger was awful. Don't waste your money. The kids like the popcorn chicken but no more ordering from us.

Didn’t end up with my order. Ordered at 2.50 for a 3.45 delivery. Didn’t arrived. Then it went to 4:45. Called to see where my order was at 4:45. Said 15 mins. Still didn’t arrive. Tried calling. Put the phone down then didn’t answer so had to go somewhere else. Then he turned up at 5.40 with the food? I had already got from somewhere else as it was for my child. I understand your busy but putting the phone down and not answering is rude.

Food was over an hour late and it was cold. I called the restaurant saying 10 minutes but it was half an hour after that.

The texture of the cheese is like cardboard. There was hardly any tomato paste on the pizza. The pizza was cold and seemed as though it was cooked in the morning!
