Chester Green Tandori in Derby

First time ordering, amazing experience. Very tasty food!

Had a couple of nights in derby for work and with hotel restaurant closed searched for what was open… Curry express turned out to be quite a disappointment. Very unlike me to not be able to finish an Indian takeaway. Balti meat was indistinguishable and tasted like sauce from a jar, really lacked flavour. The nann was terrible, felt like it had been frozen and warmed up, had consistency of chewing gum. Onion baji was greasy… rice and chips were ok, but not hard to get right. Bombay potato’s also we’re ok. This place uses to much oil, price is ok but no excuse for poor food.

Great authentic food Good service I had 2 of the curry’s but next time I will be trying a kharai to share The mixed grills looked great All in all a great place to go for great food Lots of choice in normanton but this one for me is the best by far

Not bad, bit cramped to wait so best order in advanced

food arrived cold, which was a shame as, if the food had been hot ..I would of given 5/5. unfortunately we had to warm our food up in the microwave for 2mins per plate. otherwise food was good. Just ashamed food came cold ! I would however consider ordering again, hence would ask the food to be hot !
