Fantastic Sunday lunch we stayed 2 nights in the car park, Ken and lyn made us feel very welcome, bingo on a Sunday would definitely recommend

Not made welcome terrible place told only do food on Sunday sign outside says food daily would not return doesn't deserve any stars only interested in locals and football toilets terrible needs to close down

Quiz night every Thursday not had food but usually have a doombar, Thursday Quiz still going still a nice pint of doombar. Could do with a few more teams for the quiz. Still looking for extra teams, maximum in team four, starts 20:30.

I love this pub, everyone is so friendly. Landlord and landlady are brilliant. Always a fine pint served. I couldn't imagine drinking anywhere else when at home 👍♥️

Ken and Lynn are excellent Hosts. You get a very warm welcome always. Their Sunday carvery is great. Excellent quality and quantity. Their bingo night on a Tuesday is so much fun and a lovely evening to catch up with friends. What a lot of people don't know is how much Ken and Lynn do in raising money for charity. Air Ambulance service being one of their chosen charities. Lynn even went so far as to having her head shaved to raise money for a Defibrillator which they did and it is now in situe. They are typically your unsung heroes. I would recommend you visit them

Bit dated ...could do with a lick of paint ...food was okay but not very warm ...

Friendly atmosphere. Cream teas excellent and tremendous value. Recommended if you are in the area.

Lovely friendly service, very helpful with local information. Dog friendly the little pooch got a treat, which he loves being centre of attention. Motohome stop over if you fancy staying over to have a drink.

The Cherry Tree provided an excellent buffet for an event we were holding this week All they needed to know was how many to cater for and they did the rest for us They could not have done any better to ensure things ran smoothly and i did not have to worry about anything Thanks for your hospitality

Love going to the cherry tree always a friendly warm welcome from the landlady Kay and all her staff ? And not forgetting a fantastic traditional carvery cooked by Kay on Wednesday and Sunday.

The meat was disappointing as it was all crumbled up - the joints of meat couldn't be carved properly and the veg was disappointing - wouldn't go back again

Went there to watch the Checkatrade Cup Final where the mighty Imps were victorious! Felt very much at home and if I was more local to there, it would be a regular spot for a pint or three!

You always get a warm welcome clean friendly village pub. They do fantastic Sunday carvery it's advisable to ring and book to avoid being disappointed. It really is value for money all fresh veg beautiful meats home made Yorkshire puddings

Asked for a slight change to a dish, sauce on side rather than on meal. Cook could not do it as it would not be the real dish. Did not like the sauce, ruined the dish,very disappointed. Waitress was very apologetic. Will NEVER return,unless new chef
