It's a takeaway, but the lady was very friendly and the prices were good, I only waited ten mins and my chow main was ready, absolutely delicious.

Don't order here they don't even answer the phone they close at 10:30pm but won't even answer your call at 10 pm for a box meal as I've finished work late late

It's not a bad chinese, but it's also not a good chinese, I would say, mediocre

Ford is very quick. Do order over the phone. Is very tasty. We do now stay away from chicken dishes as its allways got some thick batter, evan if you check up front. All in, good price, nice food.

Yet again another great meal always our first choice for Gorseinon 😊

Please please please do not buy chicken products from this take away or do it and find out for yourself, I don't know what it is, I was a butcher for many years, and this chinese is not selling chicken. I have never put something so wrong in my mouth.

I have never been here before last night. Food was outstanding, big portions and delicious. Customer service was also spot on, such a friendly polite lady. Food was ready on time when I picked up. Highly recommended.

Best Chinese takeaway in the Gorseinon area.

Had my first meal from Chen's kitchen and it was absolutely faultless! High quality ingredients and every dish was incredibly tasty. We had Crispy Beef in Peking Sauce, Barbeque Spare Ribs, Mushroom Chow Mein and House Special Fried Rice, which came with delicious KING prawns in it! I wouldn't hesitate to order again and would quite happily munch my way through the rest of the menu. The lady serving was lovely and we were given complimentary Prawn Crackers, Fortune cookies and even a 2023 calendar! They have a 5* health and hygiene rating and the food all tasted clean and fresh. 5 *s from me, I really enjoyed. Would definitely recommend them. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Really poor service asked for meal which came wrong. Called to say a mistake had happened and could I fetch it back for the right one and was told no. Will never use them again. Use happy chef

I've had order 505 on over twenty separate occasions so I'd would say it's pretty decent for the area. The chicken balls could be harder though. Order 505 is rice, chips, and chicken balls for £4.80

Thought a change of name might be a good thing, I thought wrong. Chips were definitely reheated, curry was bland there are better ones in jars in most shops, huge dry cubes of chicken and overall lacking depth of flavour. Special fried rice was far from special. Tiny tough shrimp and very sparce meat wise. Needed extra everything tbh. Huge let down.

Nice takeaway thar has delivery option. They also do a boxed menu for low prices where you can choose a mix of meals to taste. Friendly staff on counter..

Nice flavours in food, but it would be nice to see the chicken pieces & veg, mushrooms, onions etc cut a little smaller, they were so huge in size. Presentation would be a lot nicer.

Overcooked chips , stale prawn crackers and chicken in the fried rice was hard not fresh and watery curry

UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT!!! DON'T BOTHER! What a waste of money and time - please avoid! Ordered at 7.15pm via phone, was finally out of the door by 9:20pm!!!! Nearly two hours waiting time. Within the first hours wait, was informed they had run out of spare ribs. Three customers wanted their money back due to the hour+ wait even after telephone order. Food, was bland, and very pale and hence tasteless. From what I could see, the deliveries were getting the priority over stand alone customers orders, it was discusting. I had to ask for my money back twice, but kept on being fobbed off with "its the next one being cooked" 6 orders later. Even the takeaway drivers, couldn't believe the service being shown to us waiting customers. I chucked a good 3/4 of it in the bin. It all looked and tasted undercooked, and rushed. It was so not worth the wait, and yet all that could be given were prawn crackers free. Please guys, you may be newly started, but this is no way to treat customers this poorly with this rubbish food. I could never revisit this place again, if it was the last Chinese takeaway around. The original "Treasure Island" that preceeded this was amazing for so many years, unlike this current outfit. Sort the taste out of the food please - its the least that could be done.

Since treasure island shut a couple of months ago I have been eagerly awaiting Chen’s chef to reopen, so tonight was the night and all I can say is what a disappointment, the food looked anemic, completely taste less and the sauces were so runny it was like water, I will never return absolutely gutted !!!

Absolutely phenomenal food every time from treasure island! We live out of the area and drive passed loads of Chinese’s to get food from here! It can’t be beaten (we’ve tried) the staff are always very helpful and very polite!

I think the food us grateful and they have great staff but thir higinen is bad you can even look at the sight saying it has 1 out of 5

Never had a bad meal from this place ever in the 8 years I've been going here very friendly and helpful staff good prices and more importantly great food, only bad points are they close on a Monday and Tuesday and don't deliver.
