Everything is great about this place, the food, the service and price. You can't get a better kobeda in Manchester! One bit of friendly advice - the utensils you serve the nan in are reused between customers - please wash them or just use plates for the nan. The local hygiene are picking up on this kind of thing in other eateries so fix it before they visit you too. thank you

Went there this evening for a donner calzone absolute rubbish under cooked hardly any Donner meat on it. 10.50 for basically bread and cheese won't be going ever again rip off

Got the order wrong, 2nd time, ordered kobeda and chicken tikka gave me donner instead Also, how can you justify £3 for a box of chips, crazy

I had a terrible experience with Cheetham Star. My friend and I suffered severe food poisoning from their undercooked chicken. When we called them to report this, the employee we spoke to was completely unsympathetic and didn't even apologise. They said that the manager would contact us, but it's been a few days now and we still haven't heard anything. Very disappointed with their food safety and customer service. Avoid this place if you value your health! Edit on the 06/08/24 since I cannot reply to you (owner) for some reason - maybe you have blocked me… I bought your food from Uber Eats and reported you to them, and received my full refund. We have also reported you to Salford City Council for food safety concerns ☺️ I am not the first to complain - check other reviews that state your food is cold and not cooked properly! Accept your mistake, dear and apologise - it’s not that hard!

I ordered a full roast chicken through Uber eats and my son and his friend both became severely food poisoned due to their undercooked chicken. I called them up the very next day and the manager said he would get back in contact with me, it’s been 6 days and they haven’t contacted back once. This place has terrible customer service instead of addressing the problem of serving undercooked chicken they deflect and pretend every person who complains is wrong. Also once they reply to the comment you can’t respond back as they block the account. I’ve reported them to the local council as this place is a danger to everyone with their undercooked chicken and disgusting customer service which they clearly haven’t learnt!

1st time trying and won't be the last, food was spot on 10/10, atmosphere and decor was nice and reasonably priced

This place is a hit or miss. Inconsistency is the main problem. Usually go for my kobeda with naan which are quite good as they are quite soft and succulent unlike other places. Also usual order is full grill chicken with chips. It is very nice when they cook it however most occasions served very hard, not tender, not even add sauce.

Ordered a donner kebab with sauce on naan and received a tray of doner meat!! Kids nuggets and chips came with no nuggets!!!!! Then wanted proof we had bought from them!!!! Wont return

The roast chicken and rice is amazing. Can’t recommend it enough, the flavour on the chicken is INSANE and it’s always so tender since it’s cooked on the rotisserie. The roasted onions and tomatoes they serve with it add good flavour too. It always tastes fresh and not greasy. Also highly recommend the lentil soup and hummus. Service is really quick and the staff is attentive despite them being really busy. Pizzas and chicken burger are good too. Overall really great tasting food and always fresh, never disappoints. The new seating at the back is really nice and classy.

Cheetam Star offers a spacious and comfortable dining experience with incredibly fast service and friendly staff. The food is excellent include the perfectly seasoned kobeda, tender donner, crispy chips, juicy chicken shawarma, delicious calzone, and mouth watering tikka. Highly recommended for a quick bite or a leisurely meal!

I go to this place to eat portions are very good get a order sent home and you would think your in the third world scavenging for food on your tray for the price you pay please stay away McDonald's is more filling

We get takeaways from here every so often but today was very disappointing. It was quite late around 12 midnight when I visited. I bought a pizza and a portion of chips and paid £13.50 for just these 2 items. So my first comment is that this meal felt very expensive. I would not have an issue if the quality of food was good but sorry to say I was not happy. The portion of chips was measly, I am attaching a picture and the pizza felt like it was thrown together haphazardly. The topping did not taste fully cooked but as a meat feast pizza it just did not taste amazing at all. As I said highly disappointed as we usually have the kobeda from here which is quite good. Pizza from here a big no no.

Excellent Eastern Mediterranean style food. Love the lamb and chicken cozie They also have great salads and kebabs. Well worth eating in or taking out. Always seems very busy Go and see and try the food for yourselves.

Pizza is really delicious and comes in different sizes.prices are ok.if you are pizza lover you must visit this place.

Kobeda on Naan Bread , All freshly made. Nice tasting food It was well worth the 10-15 minutes wait. Considering nearly all the seats were taken, that was good. It is better to wait for fresh Naan bread and see your meat being cooked on the grill or cut off a chicken or Lamb Kebab. Then go to a bog standard Burger Fast food place . AND THEY EXCEPT PAYMENT BY CARDS 👍.

I must say, I have a genuine fondness for this restaurant! The food is simply marvellous, and the people there are ever so pleasant. Despite not having the means to afford a car or Uber Eats deliveries, I am more than happy to embark on a leisurely walk from Prestwich Village just to savour their scrumptious lamb cosy.

Absolutely disgusting! Like we spend £22 and we are asked to come and collect our food how stupid is that. Also the meat was undercooked very weird service won’t be coming here again. The guy was very rude and unwelcoming !! Won’t be coming again.

Although parking can be tricky, just round the corner to the restaurant, there is ample space in the car park, which is free. Having gone to Cheetham Star for over a decade, their selection of food is plentiful. Their food is made fresh, tasty, and absolutely delicious with a variety of options for people with dietary requirements. The staff are super friendly, patient, and mindful of anyone with health issues. There are toilet facilities, and I'm sure if you asked, they would find you somewhere to pray. It is just a warm and beautiful atmosphere and well recommended to everyone. Keeping you all in our prayers. Ameen

Kobeda Kebab was nice and well prepared. However, it's very greasy and leaves an aftertaste the next day.

Eating is a necessity, but cooking is an art.

The place was busy.I was with a couple of friends.I have a kobida on naan with Donner Kebab meat it was very good but kobida not as good a santos not a Juice more dryer

Can be a pain to get parked/seated. I usually park in tesco and walk down. Very busy environment. Might have to wait for a table to free up. Food is fresh, hot and tasty. Plenty of variety. I usually get chicken cozy and the lamb pizza thing in the picture. Recommended if you are stuck for places to eat around cheetamhil.

Been to this place mice running around in kitchen rude staff when i mentioned it sadly it was just after my food was made and food was un cooked and cold i didnt bother to taste it after what i spoted in kitchen i will be making complaints to other authorities please avoid this place if you want to stay healthy most of the 5 stars are fake here through family and friends

First time i order food from here (usually i go santos)i have made a order 14 inch pizza hot vegetarian with chicken topping there was no jalapeños and green chilli's only pepper onions and chicken tastless now service i have made order waited 1 hour even inside was not busy they guy who served me he kept looking at me but didnt tell me my food is ready i asked other member of staff they checked and guess what my food was ready and they put on top of pizza oven for good 30 minutes and they said its still ok didnt apologies or anything keeping me wait nearly an hour pizza was totally cold i will post pic the guy who charged me and he knew food was ready for some reason he didnt bother to tell me and my food went cold i had to bin it the ordrer was made in side take away not on the phone and thats not professional way to call your customer lair good luck by the way

I 100% love this restaurant! I've been here with my family twice now and the service is so nice. The toilets are super clean. The food is succulent and exquisite. The workers are such nice people. They all smile at you and treat you the way they'll also want to be treated! Y'all should go there because you are missing out totally!

It’s good Yano. Prices have gone up a little bit but that’s with cost of living… they also have started to take card payments. Great salad with hummus, the chicken is amazing. The only downside is the nan bread. Turns to a frisbee if you leave it out over a minute. The rice is good. I did enjoy my meal !

Went at around 5ish on a week day. Everything hot and fresh. Absolutely delicious food. Their Salad is the best. The food portions are HUGE. Definitely value for money.

This is by far the best place for shawarma and pizzas. Everything here tastes delicious. There are always places available to sit despite being packed as well. Never had any bad food from here. 10/10 I will always come here again!

Fantastic fantastic food! Mouth-watering, well flavoured, fresh.. spices used are simply perfect. I think you should consider opening as comfortable restaurant, as every dish is simply perfect. I stumbled across this restaurant in hurricane style rain one night, and tried the spicy lamb fataya.. it was amazing, I ended up eating them all week. I tried the shawarma, the roast chicken with tomatoes and onions.. a few more dishes I forgot the names of.. everything was simply divine. Highly recommend, don't eat anywhere else, there is no need! Service wise, it would be great to have a staff training day on customers with allergens. My daughter has a severe dairy allergy, we were told by several people the food was dairy free, but then told by one of the chefs who over heard us, that it contains Yogurt, luckily she hadn't had any food, but it could have been bad if she had. Atmosphere wise, the floor is a shiny smooth tile, not great for all for the water that pools, when people are entering in from the rain, its slippery and muddy, and feels very dangerous. I suggest using a mat or a better type of flooring? The other issue I had was the room is completely congested with tables and chairs, its really not great.

All hot and very tasty. Well worth eating in Took the chicken cosy came with lots of delicious rice and a soup we chose the deal and it also comes with half a rotisserie chicken 🐔 and salad and a naan. Well worth a visit Highly recommended. Staff are super nice once they get to know you and have gotten to know them. Once good food and a reasonable price. So see for yourselves.

Busy take away, lovely food and friendly service, very reasonable prices. Some people were being incredibly rude to the staff though sadly they certainly didn't deserve it.

Ordered off uber eats , prices have gone up alot and portion have gone smaller Style pizza - although very tasty it's half the size , these use to be atleast 2 inch height packed with toppings Spicy chicken fillet burger meal- again it was tasty , chips portion was normal however chicken burger was super flat approx 0.7cm thick so waffer thin and double the price 4 stars for taste 2 stars for price (not taking uber eats prices into consideration)

Hate places with VERY RUDE DISGUSTING ATTITUDE. Who do these people think they are like they can talk to us customers like where there floor mat in there shop or something.. DISGUSTING BEHAVIOUR. Most of these kurdish places are same stinking attitude they need boycotting.. Even being a regular they can switch on you

Avoid their half roast chicken, they sell it with plain white boiled rice and undercooked chicken plus them onions which look really nice are like hard plastic
