Absoutlety fantastic experience it was our 1st time there.The staff were so very kind and provided us with excellent service thank you very much to each one of you. The food was superb,our compliments to your chef.We shall certainly be back again soon 😀.

Absolutely amazing food and time

It was a really lovely restaurant and the food was great as was the service, the waiter was fun and informative. The only thing I wasn't aware of is that it doesn't serve alcohol, if I had known I would have taken some wine to have with the meal. They do serve non alcoholic drinks to choose from though

So We ordered our food for 7pm it came for 6:30 pm then be came cold and we had guests coming that we hadn't seen for a long time and they wasn't keen on Indian food, so I spoke to the person on the phone and yes he did say that he would send another order and yes it came but when we had a conversation over the phone about things he was so rude DEFINITELY WONT BE ORDERING AGAIN.

Me and my girlfriend have just come home from an amazing experience at this restaurant. The staff were all very friendly, helpful and great to get along with they couldn't of been any better. The food was phenomenal, I've not had a meal like it. We both left totally full, fully satisfied, pleased and will definitely be returning. Thank you all for the beautiful food and experience.

Very friendly and accommodating. Originally had a smaller table and had last minutes guests added on and they were fine to sort a bigger table.

Excellent curry with different main courses. No alcohol is served but believe you can take your own.

Came in with my twin, got judged talked about and stared at in an empty restaurant due to our appearance… one staff proceeded to say kids and laugh and wouldn’t even look at us while talking. Demanded early payment and just made us feel like we weren’t worth their time. 10/10 food… no people skills clearly… The guy who sat us down was okay. Lamb shank was 8/10 but the fact had to wait for our naans and ask 3 times wasn’t great.

Great Restaurant to come a visit. Excellent food wish i could eat everything when i visit there. The atmosphere is top notch. The plating design and mojitos are fabulous. The staff there are very friendly, funny and welcoming. Good environment to bring close friends and family to come out for a meal there. The manager Sam there is a great hostess as he is very friendly towards his guests and treats them like family. I would definitely recommend people to come and visit Chasni.

Went on the 10th of July with family for a late birthday celebration got to say service was amazing and food was awesomely amazing my madras had the perfect amount of flavour and kick was at a very nice level and as for the naan bread the charring was perfect not under or over charred but perfect and Sam was a cool guy

Fabulous food and excellent service and atmosphere

It was ok at best. You always worry when you see luminous green mint and bright red mango sauce but it wasn't that bad. The meat in my bhuna was a lttle tough and the prawn had half the shell still on it. There was a distinct lack of flavour to what we are used to in Birmingham. The service was quick and appeared very busy barr one joker that wanted everyones attention. Nothing bad just a weird mix. All reviews say it is great and maybe we saw an off night. Maybe as a bring your own bottle place most people are way too tanked up notice and that is fine also. Just not for me.

Eat regularly from here and it NEVER disappoints!!! Just had the best butter chicken I've ever tasted! And their onion bhajis always hit the spot!

We came in tonight for a meal for 42 people for a football presentation absoloutly amazing food amazing service and huge credit to miah making us feeling welcome and made our night the best. You deserve a pay rise!!!

First time visiting and definitely not the last. A real find on Dawley High Street. Gorgeous decor, beautifully clean and lovely tasty dishes. The staff are very welcoming and charming (special mention to Miah and the two Sam's) and really made us feel very special. Thank you. Hope to be back soon!

Visited Chasni in Dawley for the first time tonight after seeing people we know recommend. Service was excellent, food was hot and very tasty. Was quite busy which was nice to see other people enjoying it too.

This is our first time back at Chasni since it's refurbishment and Wow!!!! The atmosphere is amazing the staff are friendly, helpful and funny and check in with you throughout the meal without being full on. Sam was so helpful when my partner rang to book us in and gave us a beautiful table and Sam was so accommodating given I am disabled and my stepson is autistic. My stepson has a tree nut allergy and the man taking our order was knowledgeable about all dishes and told my stepson which meals to avoid. They have managed to create a space that's both modern and also respectful of the buildings heritage. The food was out of this world we had poppadoms for starters then me and my partner had onion bhajis my stepson had samosas they were perfectly cooked and seasoned so light but high on taste. Our mains were Lamb Rogan Josh, Lamb Biriyani and a Lamb Passanda. The flavourings were plenty without overpowering and the lamb was so tender. Throughly enjoyed ourselves and my stepson was entranced by the table ambiance from some dry ice. Will definitely be coming again the whole experience was perfect thank you Sam and all the other staff, sorry I didn't get all your names.

staff is extremely rude and don't have basic etiquettes to interact with the customers and keep saying irrelevant things especially the guy handling the front unit

Ordered for a delivery . Guy on phone said hour Food took just short of 2 hours - appreciate it’s busy on a Friday night but at 5 to 9 was told would leave in 5 mins - 45 mins later food arrived Shame as food is lovely - food was hot - communication would be good and when calling to chase don’t say it’s ready to leave

Lovely food. Staff great. It was very warm in there, tho. So don't wear too many jumpers.

So so impressed with the level of service i received from Miah when i asked which food was vegan on their menu as it only has vegetarian symbols. He went above and beyond to ensure no dairy was in the food that he recommended i should try. I opted for the vegetable balti with a chapati and it was perfect! Absolutely delicious! My advice would be to put on website/social media that vegan options can be made on request as you're missing a lot of customers who will love your food.

Paid £50 for a meal lamb was so chewy had to spit it out king prawns still had the tails on which you have to pay extra for king prawns was our 1st time trying here dont think we will be going back

This truly is THE best takeaway and restaurant in Telford. Always great service in or out. And the staff including delivery drivers are so polite. Superb!!!!

Nice and clean , but that's the only plus, portions are small, service poor, and the curries have way way too much food colouring made me and the wife ill , food bland , won't eat here again

Tried there tonight with the new menu and the curry was the best curry I’ve had in Telford highly recommend this place and the staff are very polite

We booked a table for 6 people to celebrate a family birthday. Having been told 7:30 was unavailable, we were happy to accept 8pm instead. Arriving promptly for 8pm, we let the staff know that we were there. There seemed to be some confusion amongst the staff, with them looking confused at the diary and asking if our name was a long list of incorrect names. After eventually finding our reservation, we were told it wouldn’t be long. We waiting for 25 minutes before asking how long it was likely to be, and were told that there were still people sat at the table which was supposed to be reserved for us. The waiter just kept telling us it wouldn’t be much longer, blaming the people already sat down. We explained that there were other tables free and asked why we couldn’t sit there, but were simply dismissed being told ‘it is a Friday night, what do you expect?’. We again said that we expect a table to be ready at the time we were told to arrive. At 8:45, approaching an hour after arrival, we were finally shown to our seat, only to find that the table was in fact in the middle of a large family party. Not only did this make us feel incredibly uncomfortable and like we were intruding, it made the family feel uneasy too and they then felt it necessary to apologise despite the restaurant itself not once saying sorry themselves. Once seated, we were given complimentary poppadoms and dips. Unfortunately the manager did not keep his team updated and when we asked the waitress she was unaware that the manager had offered this. The restaurant is also BYOB for alcoholic drinks, but not soft drinks. We assumed that the member of our party would be offered the opportunity to order a soft drink, but this did not happen so they went the whole evening without a drink. To add insult to injury, dirty cutlery and dry ice were spilled on a me twice while clearing the table, with nothing more than a warm towel being offered as an apology - in fact when the waiter spilled the dry ice he joked ‘at least it wasn’t curry’, oblivious to the fact his colleague had dropped curry on me already. The service was genuinely one of the worst we have experienced ever, and I won’t be returning or recommending Chasni as a result. The food itself was very good, and had service been good this would be a 5* review. But it is impossible to rate it higher due to the awful service which made the evening incredibly tense and unenjoyable. To improve, the restaurant needs to manage their bookings more tightly to ensure that they are not overbooked. They should also ensure they take ownership of their mistakes and ensure the experience is put right for diners, and be more attentive to their needs.

This was our first visit and won’t be a last we loved it, food great, atmosphere great, staff great, probably the best food we have had anywhere. Amazing!!

We have been visiting this establishment since Sam and his team took over. We have never been disappointed, they go over and above every visit. We even had Christmas dinner there which was lovely. Recommend to anyone who is thinking of going, just book up early as they are very busy. Great food great team and a a beautiful environment. Top Class👌💯

Valentines 2024 As per usual, everything was outstanding. As standard with busier days we had a set menu, however they did allow us to deviate and order whichever main dish we fancied. The Mixed Kebab starter we had was out of this world. I ordered a Mixed Madras which was absolutely stunning, so much flavour, and the Mrs had a Chicken Tikka Korma, she said herself it was one of the best she’s had. Brilliant friendly service from the lads, topped off with a lovely dessert. The treatment you receive is next to none, even the little things like a hot lemon towel at the end of your meal to refresh yourself, and a mint chocolate whilst reviewing the bill. Never in doubt. Excellent authentic food with the best service.

All smoke and mirrors service was very poor, did not appreciate knives and fork just literally plonked on the table. Starter was cold, main was wrong retuned and they just took away, used same sauce, took out wrong meat, replaced it with right meat. Result, two meats. Great!!! most decent restaurants would have apologised and cooked fresh,

Just collected a takeaway. It was good. Service was timely, cost was acceptable. Have also now eaten "in". Very nice bunch of folks. Good food, good service and a few extra special touches. Ps. It's worth noting that they are unlicensed. You are welcome to bring your own alcohol. Personally, I wish more places took this approach... but thought I'd mention it because this only really works if you know in advance 🙂

Recently moved over Telford way and as true curry lovers we were recommended to this restaurant.. Omg what a find .. Food presentation, quality std of service just a credit to the place ... Choice, cost and 5 star cleanliness of the place really is fantastic..

ALWAYS friendly, clean and the most amazing tasty dishes. Eat-in and take-away are just as fabulous. The guys go over and above to ensure food and service are top notch.

Awful take away! Wet gloopy naan, 2 pots of tasteless green stuff dried onion salad and a Phaal that wasn't even spicy 3/10 I won't bother again as I'm doing a food review of Dawley. I hope Dawley has better to offer? We'll see.

Having just moved to Dawley this was our first meal out and it had to be Indian. It is just a short walk for us and after having booked on line we were looking forward to a good curry. We were not disappointed. The restaurant was very busy (always a good sign!,). The food was fresh very well presented and delicious and so reasonably priced. My wife had the Chasni Special and I had Shaslik Bhuna. In addition the service was attentive but not intrusive. Sam the owner and the rest of his family and team have a great Restaurant here which combines both great food with excellent service. We will be back soon. Pete & Jenny x

The best curry i have eaten wouldn't go anywhere else.

Ordered food at 17.20, was delivered at 19.00. Food was cold, poppadoms were stale. Although the food tasted great we won't order again

Our first visit to Chasni with our two granddaughters. We had lovely evening and the food was excellent. Although the restaurant was busy (always a good sign) the service was great and the staff were all so friendly and chatty and the girls loved it, special thanks to Abez our waiter. The restaurant itself was very welcoming with good decor and very clean. Will definately be returning and recommending to our family & friends
