The food here was genuinely amazing, so much flavour. When im back in the area, i would definitely stop here again.

Always amazing food, complimentary prawn crackers too. Super quick delivery and collection. A little on the pricier end but you definitely get what you pay for!

What a nice surprise. Unexpectedly I found myself out with my grownup son and we made a rather random choice of where to eat having no prior knowledge other than we both like Thai food. Delighted to have chosen Charm, good service & excellent food. Generous portions (nice) of proper tasty food which arrived pretty quickly. Looking forward to my next visit with other members of my family.

We were staying in a hotel nearby so in the afternoon we decided to wander in to Teddington to see what was on offer for an evening meal. As it had not yet opened for the evening, it was a bit hard to see what it was like inside though the menu looked good so we rang and booked. We are so glad we did. The food and service were absolutely excellent and reminded us of a previous trip to Thailand. We also thought it was excellent value for money. It's not an area we often visit but we would definitely go back if we did.

Went here with a group of 6, back in November. Waited for about 30-40 minutes for my food only to get something I didn't order and the waitress was adamant I was in the wrong until she went and got her order sheet and realised she was wrong. Everyone's food came at different times and even though mine was wrong my friend waited a lot longer for her food. I wouldn't come here again. Food is ok but the Thai in Brentford is much better in every way. Sevice charge is added to your bill.

They definitely need to improve the quality of food. Although the staffs are friendly and atmosphere is good, food is just blend and nothing special! Seriously !!

After trip to Thailand and being fan of Thai food, have eaten at many Thai restaurants. The food at Charm Thai is lovely, authentic tasting with fresh ingredients. The Tom Yum (Hot Prawn) soup is excellent. Lunch menu is good value with ample portions. Would recommend.

Food was tasty however the portions in green curry were disappointing .very little chicken or prawn in either green curries and veg green curry had no extra veg added . Staff were lovely

Was quite hungry and saw this lovely restaurant and popped in. The service was fantastic, very lovely and kind people. We ordered gyoza for starters and it tasted really good. The sauce was nice. The pad Thai was great, very good portion size. The green curry was the best! The flavours were great. If you come by this area I would definitely recommend it.

Takeaway ! Pad Thai. Chicken very tough and I could taste prawn although I only ordered chicken ? Was this others left overs I wonder ! and the noodles were in this sauce soaked . Heaps of noodles . Just not to my taste for that amount of money . Sorry !

Dined here 4 months ago and the waitress who was then 'in training' is no longer so but is still utterly useless, abrupt and frankly rude. She rushed us to order food, insisted on taking starters orders from each of us, then coming back to take mains orders from each of us, and then took the drinks menu without allowing us to order any drinks! When I asked another waitress if I could see the manager she spoke little English and couldn't understand me. When I got to see the manager she didn't give a fig! Would not recommend this dive until they have competent staff who can communicate in fluent English. Portions are far too small for the exorbitant prices also. Avoid if you want a carefree dining experience.

Great restaurant that serves great food. Never had a bad meal here and the service is good. The value for money is great.

Tough beef, a vegetarian dish which was £7.95 for about one ladle's worth of vegetables , a mushroom dish which was swimming in salty soy sauce. £40 wasted on cheap and nasty ingredients. Won't be ordering from here again

A regular favourite of ours for over 10 years, but we won't be returning. Yet another change of ownership. Waitress is dreadful & seems capable of only carrying one thing at a time. Food not a patch on what it was. Such a shame.

Lovely atmosphere with authentic and very tasty thai food. All of the staff were welcoming and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. If we come to Bath again, we will certainly be back!

Had a great visit again . Amazingly tasty food . Attentive staff , especially Jenniy. Lucky to find a table even on a week night (Thursday) the place was packed but the service was still exceptional. I don’t understand how some of the reviews are negative !!!!!! . Try a meal , you won’t be disappointed. Enjoy .

Really lovely food. Authentic, properly spicy and delicious Thai food. It's great value for money too! We got more than enough for two people and we were completely stuffed by the end of it. We spent only £60 including drinks. Out of an overabundance of caution, the owners still have the table dividers and COVID signs up. I'm not here to criticise their choices, but it does make things feel a bit less warm and cosy than it could feel. Since the doors have curtains up to stop the breeze, you can't really see into the restaurant which doesn't feel super inviting. However - I'd definitely recommend checking it out for some great Thai food!

Nice food but a simple 2 course lunch (without drinks) for two is £30+ . Service is added. So good food but not super cheap for lunch.

Ordered Gyozo, Pad Thai, Green Curry and PAD BAI KRAPRAO FAMOUS STREET FOOD Pad Thai was something quite amazing. Spices blended in wonderfully to make an simply delicious dish. Gyozo also hit the mark. My sister claimed the Green curry too was one of the best she had. This was my first taste of PAD BAI KRAPRAO FAMOUS STREET FOOD it was spicy as advertised but didn’t do it for me. Maybe just my palate.

Having lived in Thailand for over 20years I expect the same standard of food when I visit a Thai restaurant in the UK. Whilst there are some issues with getting some of the raw ingredients the taste of the food was very good and would recommend them to anyone who likes Thai food. Staff very friendly and took the time to chat with us about Thailand and the food. If in the area again I will certainly eat there again.

We visited this establishment of an evening and it was quite busy. Service overall was reasonable And food was good. Would be happy to eat here again. I say, however, the prawn crackers did seem somewhat softter than one would expect.

On the eve of our wedding we realised that we would have nearly thirty family and friends in local hotels and decided it would be fun to invite them all out for an informal meal the night before the « big day » to get the party rolling and give a chance for guests to meet and mingle before the actual wedding day. We did not want the event to over shadow the main event the following day and wanted to food to be a distinct contrast. As regular visitors to Thailand (and enjoying frequent lunches) at Charm we came up with the idea if they could host us. They immediately offered the whole restaurant to us and gave us some brilliant menu ideas that had lots of dishes for sharing. The planning was simple, the manager charming and everything easily organised. The evening of the event itself was great fun, it was very relaxed with lots of laughter and smiles and made for a memorable start to our wedding celebrations. The food and drink were delicious and even the « I can’t eat anything spicy » brigade enjoyed it. The service included the famous Thai smiles and the large and varied group were very well catered for. Thank you so much for this, I can’t wait to be back for a pad Thai lunch soon.

Really nice authentic Thai food at reasonable prices, nice environment and friendly staff

The food was fine. The service was a trainee and lacked confidence but was doing her best. What ruined it was the (I assume) boss ranting rudely at his staff in a bullying and menacing manner, presumably because of some take away issue. He was aggressive and nasty and you could tell that the staff were treading on eggshells. We're all having a hard time right now, but you have to be big enough not to take it out on others. It was SOO audible that I almost went and intervened.... A shame, because the chilli beef salad was knock out!

The best Thai meal that I've had in years!

We popped in for a quick bite after a day out. The food was fantastic and the staff lovely, not badly priced either.

Small but cosy. Food is fantastic. Portions are ok but rice is extra, would recommend one bowl of rice per person for diners with an appetite. Very good service and happy to split the bill between members of our group. Clear plastic COVID screens still in place but probably a good thing for privacy as the tables are close.

A Teddington fixture and this is why: Firstly, start with consistently great food. We’ve seen this when we first went here in 2005 to this week. Second, add excellent, attentive service to compliment the outstanding food. That’s the secret to success. Well done and do pay a visit if you like Thai food, or if it’s just your first taste. You’ll enjoy great food & service here.

Second time something missing from takeaway order. Called restaurant and told "Apply to Just Eat for a refund". Very disappointing. Won't order from here again.

The starters were great, prompt to take the order but the waitress didn't seem to understand we asked for the duck to be served without the sauce, unfortunately it came 10 minutes after our meals, cold with sauce transbording the plate 😳😳 salty, skin like rubber and completely un-edible. Tried to tell the waitress but she just smiled and walked away. My meal was no better. I had pad see lew. Pork extremely salty which I couldn't eat. When the plates were cleared again we told a different waitress who smiled and brought the bill £96.58. Including £8.78 service charge?!!!! We went out for a meal left without eating and had to tip for the perivelege!! Honestly the worst meal I didn't have! I am a good catholic girl and eat no matter what, however I couldn't eat even half.

Hi great place the food was lovely, but i think the chap that was in charge was in a rush to get us out? We were the last 4 in there at 9.30 still eating but he was clock watching and kept staring at us ? As I said the food was great ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ but the atmosphere was not great that night unfortunately 😢 our friends eat there a lot and said it was out of character!!! The waitresses were great too ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ just the chap in charge seemed to be wanting to leave and as soon as we left a short while later they all out coats on and left too so we were clearly holding them or him up for some reason??? Our booking was at 8pm so not late by any means but disappointed but we will go back to see if this was a one off 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Excellent food. It would be nice to have vegan options. The kitchen did adapt the menu dishes especially which was nice.

Have been coming here for over 6 years always a good experience. After going today 18/02/2023 I was amazed at how absolutely shocking the service was. After getting our order wrong 3 times! We then wasn’t even given a refund and ended up paying for a takeaway we gave back to them and didn’t even take home. What a shame. Absolutely ridiculously unless waitresses I can’t even describe it.

We visited with our 7 year old granddaughter While she had a gorgeous curry and rice we had some really authentic tasting meals . Absolutely fantastic food . Party of 2 on a Friday night. We didn't have a booking but luckily were given the last table. Food was delicious and portion sizes were good. Very reasonable prices. Two mains, a beer and a glass of wine was £40 including a tip! Staff were friendly and service was quick.

Lived in Thailand and the food is FAR from the real deal. Huge items missing on the menu and also dishes done wrong. As a family we left dissatisfied and the price is not cheap either. Wonder where the chef is from …….. but definitely not Thai food.

It’s not often that one grumbles about service being too quick, but we dined at Charm when we had a couple of hours to kill, and were finished in an hour! That is far from being a complaint, as the food was excellent in spite of its speedy delivery. Having not dined at Charm for at least 10 years we thought we’d take a trip down memory lane and return again. Very friendly, good choice, particularly for veggies, and everything very tasty.

Our family went there for dinner last night with our 2 young boys and we each ordered a different meal which we ended up sharing. Each plate was perfectly cooked and delicious, we really enjoyed the evening.

Tried to ring for 40 mins I think they take the phone off the hook. . Had to go up to the restaurant to order it . Sat down to eat it and found 3 black hairs . Only ate half and throw the rest away

Lovely service. Great dishes. Shame they had no bean curd as a lot of the dishes were with bean curd. The reason waz they were closing for Christmas which is sad. Otherwise lovely restaurant.

Food was lovely with decent portion sizes for the price. The atmosphere is very chilled and staff are polite. Can’t really complain about anything except the small(ish) menu but we ate at lunchtime so it’s to be expected! Would definitely recommend if you’re in the area.

Great food and efficient friendly service

I ordered Thai food from this restaurant and it was pretty good. All my family members enjoyed the food. The Thai curries are really soothing for the taste buds. I did not dine inside but the shop was pretty full when I went to collect my order. It proves that people enjoy dining there.

Had a lovely meal in this cosy and busy atmospheric restaurant. Nice selection of starters and mains. We went Wednesday which along with Tuesday means you can take your own wine, the strategy was working, it was full. The people, as all Thais were lovely....

I go here regularly and always have a good meal. The thai currys and the tom yum soup are always delicious. You can easily have two courses and a drink for under £15 if you arrive before seven pm which is exceptional for London.

Terrible food and service, waitress said tell Google!!! We went to Charm yesterday lunchtime expecting the £10 set menu, once seated we were handed the menus, I asked the waitress where the set menu was on the menu card, she replied that they didn’t do that and were we ready to order! I explained that we had only just sat down and hadn’t even looked at the menu yet. Being Muslims we ordered non pork dishes, we had checked thoroughly on the menu to see what we were ordering. We ordered 8. Pad Thai and 12. Kuey Tiew Num Dum, the food was nothing special, i got the feeling that the owners had changed and the quality of the dishes didn’t seem to be as before . On almost finishing our meals one of our party noticed a strange dumpling type of thing in her number 12 noodle soup! On asking the waitress what it was, she responded that she didn’t know and went to ask the cook, it turned out that the freebie was 18. Kanom Jeeb!! (Pork and prawn), of course I was really annoyed and asked why this was in the dish. The waitress replied that EVERYONE knew that this was in the soup, I told her that clearly EVERYONE didn’t know as there were 3 people on our table who had inspected the menu and nowhere did it say that a pork dumpling would be put into the soup!!!! The waitress didn’t seem to care, didn’t offer any form of compensation or alternative, she just said, I only work here, I don’t know anything, write to Google. Hopefully, they will pay more attention to describing their dishes better, imagine giving someone else a dish that gives them allergies or worse!! I’d definitely say, go elsewhere! These people don’t give a damn about anything.

I see that most of the reviews about this restaurant are for takeaways, it's menu is just that a takeaway as a in house menu it is very lacking in Charm. I take it that this place has changed hands and adapted the menu for Covid and therefore just takeaway, I should of walked out after looking at the menu. you could of made good shoe laces with the noodles and so on. Will not be returning.
