Food took 2hrs to come. To be told they are busy because of bank holiday! No communication from the shop i had to call to be told 15mins for the food to be another 35mins. We will not be ordering from here again!!

Tasty food and good service. The chicken wrap in bbq flavour was delicious. Good portion of food and seatings were nice and simple.

Food was just okay, we ordered few wraps and one burger, the burger bun was burnt completely and when I asked the owner of the restaurant to replace it, he started staring at it and wasn’t sorry at all. After couple of minutes of staring the burger, he put the raw bun without heating it. We were 5 friends and he gave us one glass to drink water. Taste is of-course personal choice but behaviour like this mess up your mood completely, won’t recommend anyone going there.

Great food cooked to order, the wraps are delicious and great value, possibly the best potato wedgies I've ever had

Chicken wings in bbq just best I had from take away, two left eating them after two hours still juicy and tasty. Very welcomed customer service, will definitely come back.

Very disappointed went here for dinner We paid £50 for 4 large wraps some chips and some rice. Mainly lettuce, expected more chicken especially as we paid for large! Much better place a few doors away Wow what a response from the owner…… you get what you pay for. 3 small pieces of chicken in a large wrap is absolutely shocking. Why are you talking about affordability? That’s not the issue, read the review before you reply with such a unprofessional response.

The food was horrid. Chicken was over cooked n hard to eat. Price was very expensive. We went in a big group an no1 was happy with the food. Not impressive at all

Very tasty halal Wraps and very much affordable.

Absolutely bizarre. First time I went the food was unreal, best I’ve ever tasted anywhere and my boy agreed , this time the guys rushed he’s on his own clearly hasn’t time to cook properly and the same meal was dreadful. Tasted nothing like the first time. Such a shame when they really can provide amazing tasting food.

My only complain possible would be that there are not enough Charlie’s Chickens in the world. And that their opening times aren’t 24/7. Their chicken sizzler wrap is just legendary, if you haven’t tried it, you must. Me and my husband have been going here since we first started dating and it is our regular treat-ourselves take away spot! My parents have since visited us and are now also obsessed with this amazing place. We hope you open more soon!

This is the worst place I have visited. Expensive and a long wait for service. Eventually when I was served the food for what i paid was overpriced compared to other places I have been with very small portions of meat layered in greasy creamy mayonnaise and what appeared to be chicken. Please do not go and save your money as this is a waste.

Fast approaching the end of my fourth year at Bournemouth uni, I have experienced and eaten at many fast food establishments in the area. However, tonight was the first night I tried Charlie’s chicken. I walked in with a smile on my face aiming to get average “night out food” for my friends and I, who have had a negative experience throughout our evening. However, I am sad to admit that I received shocking customer service from the manager, who did not accommodate what we wanted (which was a simple cheesy chip wrap). He was unwelcoming and rude and my friends and I will certainly not be attending this establishment again. My experience at Charlie’s Chicken, certainly showed me that first impressions really do count… don’t attend if you want a miserable end to your night.

EXCELLENT food, with decent dine in seating area. Nandos style grilled chicken without the price tag. Caters for all, took my hungry children and siblings and we absolutely LOVED it. Staff were very very friendly and accommodating. Needed halal when we hit the beach and so glad it was a mere 6 mins walk away! Perfect, thanks guys, keep it up!

Love this place, best chicken wraps in town..! If ordering via Deliveroo or Just Eat it can take time when they are busy, best to go get it yourself.. The Tikka wrap is my go to favourite.

The food took ages and wasn't worth the wait. The wrap I ordered - which was a "large" one was small and barely had any chicken in it - five pieces and layered in mayonnaise and lettuce rather than chickens. It was rubbery and tasteless. You could barely taste any chicken and it was slimy and oily. It tasted like recycled meat from the day before. We also ordered some burgers and these were small in size and very expensive as you don't even get chips with it like other places. This is not a restaurant and I would not recommend eating it. Awful service and shocking bad treatment from the manager. Avoid, this place and go somewhere where you get better food and service.

We visited the shop and ordered food. Once ordered it took in excess of 30 minutes. Other customers food was made prior and when we asked to be refunded as our children were hungry the owner started screaming and swearing in front of our children. In addition the food is expensive and overpriced. For a simple wrap you are paying a lot of money for a wrap full of lettuce and very little else. The owner refused to refund us and swore at my partner who was in tears. He told us to leave without an apology for the time we waited whilst serving other customers. Other customers were also shocked at the owners behaviour. He was extremely threatening, intimidating and looked like he was about to hit us. He waves his arms and screamed “I am not paying you anything”. We left immediately.

We recived the order after 1 hour and with 1 chicken wrap spicy and 3 no spicy, we recived 4 spicy, don't recommend at all

Had the chicken wrapped and they were gorgeous. Would definitely recommend the crispy chicken wrap. Naga wrap was good too but had a taste that did not go well with us. Chips were good but would have been better if they did dips other than the usual Mayo and ketchup (garlic Mayo and sweet chilli maybe). The staff was great and served us a coriander and garlic Mayo too. They do not have ‘make it a meal option’ but you can add chips and drinks individually (which is a bit tough on wallet). They have a good seating area and serve halal too.

Firstly the wait for a chicken wrap and a smoothie took at least 25mins. The wrap itself was meant to be crispy chicken. The chicken was as dry as the Sahara dessert and it was far from crispy. We were so hungry and looking forward to this and it was the biggest let down. The smoothies sounded great on the menu but it was literally the taste of artificial apple juice not a passion fruit booster. It didn’t even have passion fruit in mine. Don’t go here it was terrible.

By far the best chicken wrap in bournemouth . Highly recommended , never a bad word to say about this place ! Staff are grrat fun make you welcome 5 stars from me

Food is 5* Guy behind the counter with the long hair and who wears a cap is the rudest person I've ever come across in my entire life, how on earth he's employed to do a customer facing job is completely beyond me

Went into Charlie chicken today with my partner at 1 clock and the guy was unbelievably rude, I was the only person in the restaurant, I said hi to the only staff member working and didn’t get a response even tho he was just sat down and then I tried to place my order and he just ignored me so I walked out. Rated 3 star as I usually love this restaurant and food is amazing.

Got a bbq chicken wrap a chicken breast and spicy rice, the chicken was stringy and dry, the ingredients in the wrap were well past there best before date, and there idea of a 5£ chicken breast must have been from the most malnourished chicken in the country, staff is were nice but I wouldn’t feed the food to a dog :) go to roosters

The chef made gravy for me especially even though they didn’t have it on the menu due to COVID-19, what a ledge!

We visited today with 5 children and there wasn't a word spoken while they devoured their food. The fries was great and the wraps were the best we've ever tasted. Would highly recommend the steak wrap. The staff were really friendly and the restaurant was clean and welcoming. Top class experience.

Just ordered a chicken burger with mayo and lettuce , the roll was very stale and dry, the chicken was very very dry, and I would imagine been cooked or heated up a few times, the lettuce was limp and disgusting , only managed to eat half of it, if I hadn’t driven so far away to eat it I would of returned it .extremely disappointed .

This was the worst food I have ever ordered in Bournemouth. Do not order this. The food was inedible and we couldn't get a refund. Rancid, soggy out of date rubbish food that made us feel sick. You could find better meals in a bin. I would give 0 stars if I had the option. Also likely that all of the other reviews are fake. Scummy food company. I don't want your free food, I wouldn't eat it again ever.

Pretty chilled place with plenty option and smoothies. Portion slightly small but good flavour and quality.

We'd tried for 20mins on Saturday night trying to get a restaurant table anywhere near the BIC. Charlie's Chicken had one. Between us; sizzling chicken wrap, burger, chicken wraps, chips and Cokes in tins. Not haut cuisine, but decent semi-fast food, good value, served with a smile. My sizzling wrap cooked with mild Indian spices was so tasty, with onions and mushrooms. Clean table. Thanks guys.

Just ordered from them off deliveroo, absolutely terrible. The most disgusting chicken I have ever put in my mouth, the half chicken was definitely old. The wings smelled good but also tasted disgusting and dry. The chips were dry, the garlic bread was soggy and not even cooked. I'm not a fussy person when it comes to food but this was the worst food that has ever been put in front of me. On top of that, when we called to complain, the person on the other end of the phone was so rude, he argued with us saying that I ordered two hours earlier than I did, as this is what the owner had informed him. I wasn't even home from work at the time he claims that I got my food. He hung up whilst we were talking, which has lead to this review. I have never written a bad review, especially for a chicken shop.

Had the best Naga chicken wrap, clearly some people don’t know what actual food tastes like.
