Chards Kebab House in South Somerset

Ordered the Mixed Kebab and I was blown away by the size of the kebab. Meat beautifully cooked and a good amount of each meat. Chips were deliberately boxed when I collected so that they were crispy when I got home. Highly recommended!

I keep saying I will not have another Doner Kebab from here, but after a few months, I think it must have got better, but I was wrong, my Doner meat had been on the griddle and tasted of burgers and char grill, it was awful and did not taste of a Doner kebab. This is my last visit, sadly I will have to have one when I am on holiday or drive to Crewkerne for one. Not happy.

Staff are always happy and the food is well cooked

Ordered a Donna kebab last night and it was disgusting. The meat was like cinnamon sticks dry and tough to eat. Pita bread was dry and hard chewy. Never going back.

The chips were under done and soft

A good-sized chicken shish kebab ( L), for £9.90. A good portion of salad and toasted pitta of the correct consistency. Friendly group of guys serving. Would recommend, nice clean food.

The kebabs here are actually decent but it is a little pricey for the portions. They could take a leaf from the kebab shop in Crewkerne who are very generous and at a lower price. But if you don’t mind the cost it’s good enough

Had a Large shiah kabab at nearly £10 you would expect quality meat.unfortunately I had only 3 pieces of meat that was edible the rest was fat/gristle. Disgusting how they can serve this as edible food and charge so much. From now on it’s a Trip to Crewkerne for quality kababs.

Last two visits/orders very poor. We order and pop to collect about 25 mins later. Both times ordered chicken kebabs X2 large with chips and sauces. On arrival food was ready and already wrapped . So orders in bags and wrapped. Got home, and both times found that one of the order was medium(small) ...and both times, both orders hardly had any salad or sauces. Of course, once home, couldn't be arsed to return, and to be honest couldn't prove it anyway (15/20 drive from where we live). So our advice is if ordering to collect then make sure you check before leaving !!! Will be travelling to Crewkerne or Axminster next time. Avoid !

Cold donner meat. all food pretty poor quality and extremely overpriced

Not my favorite anymore after they raise the prise with £2 for kebab combination and smaller portion .last time ive order donner and I've got kebab, and lamb sish have alot of bones.

Sooo much money for so little food... portion sizes are a joke no Salad in burger won't be going again

Most disgusting language from staff when they had the order wrong at closing time it some how my fault. Threatened me to take the food or I will barred so I left as I didnt pay anyway. I ordered here most nights after work, never again will I get spoken to like that and order from there again. If it was my mistake then fair enough I would of held my hands up but completely the opposite!!!!

Absolutly discusting how people can be so rude. Horrible service and cold food. Meat undercooked and cheeps have to much oil. I could give no stars I would . Never going to waste my money again !! One more thing what's make me disappointed kebab and barber shop in the same place.Hairs if everywhere and very dirty.

Not great and expensive for what you get. We liked the lamb shish, but the chips were cold and undercooked. Much prefer the Crewkerne place, even though it's a lot further to go.

Had a near death experiance from a " lovely" chicken wrap from here! If you want to loose weight then this is your plan for you. Never ever go here again whilst i habe a hole ( now red red sore) in my rear! Good luck to you all.

Garlic mayo was nice but that was about it. Very stingy portions for a higher price compared to crewkerne's. Will stick with our one!

Portion of chips is 1.70 small cheesy chips 3.90 large 4.90 your cheese isn't good enough just grate your own cheese and save yourself the rip off

Rubbish customer service. Won’t prepare food to customers preference. Not interested in kebab meat that’s been sat in a steamer for hours going soggy! Refuse to make fresh or Atleast put on grill when asked. Won’t return

Up until tonight, I'd never had a TOTALLY tasteless pizza. This 12 inch triple pepperoni, apart from being cold, had no taste at all. The pepperoni smelt odd so I took it off but even the tomato puree didn't taste of anything! Domino's next time but Ali's in Wellington is even better if you happen to be nearby.

2 stars because it was food but thats all. Cold and no flavour. Not to mention the grease ball seving with his hands on his private parts before he tried to give my partner an sti via a kebab.

Okay for a kebab house. Not as good as 10-15 years ago. No longer do shashlick with chargrilled peppers. Thought was delicious

really upped their game since dominos came to town. fantastic service, fabulous staff. chicken seasoned and cooked to perfection. could do a little better with the pop corn chicken but I'll let it slide. one happy customer. yours sincerely Jack Elliot

I regularly get take-away here in the week and after the pub on a Friday or Saturday night. Chard Kebab House has a great selection of classic kebabs, burgers and some really good pizzas. The staff are friendly and helpful even to people who seem to have had a bit too much to drink. Highly recommend the 'Chard One' Pizza and the 'Chef Special Kebab' usually to be shared but can, if in a pinch, be eaten solo. Right next door is BFC, Chard's answer to KFC. Tasty chicken and chips.

Not happy with the food chips wasn't fully cooked or the doner was awful and to think about the price £18 for children's chicken nuggets and 2 doner meats and chips if I went Yeovil I'd pay £12:50 I would not recommend this kabab house to anyone
