2nd time Amazing food and atmosphere 😍 The staff go above and beyond with their caring and happy attitude. But the food that is, very good 👍🏽 😋

Very disappointing! A non event as we went at 915 pm and staff lost interest in quality at 10pm. Change of waiter half way through and no interest in us as customers. It was a waste of sixty odd pounds and rushing people not great. Something in the cooking style that causes stomach upsets. First and last time in this soulless place. Would advise people to spend hard earned money somewhere else.

The food is fantastic, and I highly recommend 👌 Hero was a fantastic host, for a large party.

Well what can I say! Absolutely amazing food, the best Indian in Mansfield with the best staff that make your dining experience as enjoyable as it can possibly be. Big shout out to Hero and Naz you guys are amazing. See you on the 14th 😜🩷

We went to the Chand 30/12 with friends , it was buzzing that always tell you what good food it is when a place is packed . The staff are soooo very welcoming and friendly . A few of us tried different dishes including one of the Chand specials . All the food was piping hot , fresh and very tasty . Great place , great food , great atmosphere… we will definitely be back … thanks to all at the Chand Happy new year to you all , especially my foxy chef fox 🦊 xx

The Chand is soooo inviting from its lovely interior , friendly staff and very tasty food . We all had different dishes (6 of us ) each one was tasty , fresh & piping hot . My husband tried one of the Chand specials and said it was lovely , pity they don’t deliver to Huthwaite just means we will have to visit more .

Ordered for delivery waited an hour and a half after expected delivery time and didn’t even receive all our order, tried ringing and was continuously sent to voicemail. Also a rock came in one of the curries???😂

Went with some friends for my wife’s birthday. We all had a great time, and the food was delicious, fresh and well cooked. In fact we were introduced to the chef, so we could thank him personally for the tasty food. Just need to sleep now, as stuffed!

Another warm welcome and fine dining experience at the Chand! Lamb tikka melted in your mouth and chicken tandoori was so tender too. The jumbo prawn dishes excelled and the curries were subtly spiced. Wonderful service. Thanks guys! See you soon!

I have been many times since the new owners took over. Fabulous new decor & the quality of the food is fantastic. My current favourite is the Lamb Staff curry.

I tell it like it is... Madras was the worst I have experienced. The chicken was good but the sauce was empty of real flavour, runny in consistency with hardly an ingredient to visibly see and when spooned onto my plate it separated with water coming from the main sauce. The chicken korma was also lacking in depth of flavour so much so that it was just boring. We also had a lamb saag which must have been prepared by someone else as there was flavour and the meat was soft and delicious, actually decent along with the naan bread which has to be fresh to be good which rescued my 2nd star tbh. Disappointed with the time it took to prep after being told 'they are bagging it up' and I was still sat there 20 mins later.. I'm of the impression the guy the came in and walked out quite quickly with his meal had taken my meal and my dishes were rushed and ruined! Honesty would have saved it if that was true. I'm quite understanding and amenable to things like that. Sadly New Chand won't see me for a good time. 😕 Too many other Indians to try out locally.

Great service and wonderful good

The food is fantastic. This is the best Indian food that I've had in Mansfield. Service was fast and excellent. The cheese naan was the best I've ever had, usually you can't tell the cheese is there, but this was so soft and fluffy and cheesy. The staff go above and beyond, they are extremely friendly and contribute to the relaxing atmosphere. The Chand is a really lovely place, and we always go here for takeaway. Going in is a nice experience too. Thank you for looking after me.

Perfect evening, beautiful scenery and lovely staff. Food was fresh and delicious, everything arrived at an appropriate time. Requested a cake with a candle for my grandads birthday and everything ran smoothly! Best Indian restaurant in mansfield!

Used to come here when it was the old owners and was always good so when I had to choose for my birthday meal I said I haven't had an indian for a while so wanted to go back to my favorite. The standards are just the same, and we were always taken care of during my visit. Haven't had an indian for so long, so I don't have a dish I went for, but the waiter took care to explain the dishes and got me a very nice meal. Will definitely visit again when the cravings get to me!

Chef Naz was amazing. Beautiful food, well advised on our menu choices. My mother in law isn’t familiar with Indian food but loved her meal. We visit here regular and well worth supporting a local business.

Visited here last night after booking online and what a surprise we all had (party of 4) Welcoming, was warm and pleasent service was one of best experiences we have had. Drinks were served promptly. We were given ample time to study the menu and once we were ready to order our meals again served promptly by friendly staff. Our starter courses all arrived quickly and together so we could all start eating together as was our main courses. Everything cooked to perfection presented beautifully and tasted even better. Overall the whole experience was like the food and drinks. TOTALLY EXCEPTIONAL. Our only regret is we live too far away to make it our regular. All 4 of us had a fantastic time and if we ever in or passing Mansfield again we will not hesitate to return again for more. THANK YOU TO EVERYONE AT THE NEW CHAND. Kevin, Heather, Terry & Debbie.

Fantastic food and the friendliest service. All the staff in the restaurant went out of their way to make our dining experience special. We were given advice about the menu and what we could do to enhance our choices. My meal was delicious! I can’t recommend the Chand highly enough. I’ll be going again very soon.

Quality food, extremely friendly staff and very good overall experience. I would recommend the Naga myself, as long as you have the stomach for spice. Best curry in the area in my humble opinion. Special mention to Hero who looked after my wife and I on our wedding anniversary. Amazing job guys!

Amazing food and service was great, definitely will be back. Peshwari Naan, mushroom rice, lamb shank in bhuna sauce, masala chips, tandoori lamb chops, tandoori king prawns, lamb puri, saag aloo, mushroom bhaji and a chef recommended curry which was all so so good and best I’ve ever had across the board, everything was just next level. Eyes bigger than our belly though so boxed up a few bits to take away - round 2 tonight, can’t wait ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Unfortunately these people are not honest , after making a booking they altered it when we got there denied they talked to me on phone even though I had proof

Not honest people, unfortunately. They definitely understood, when I called them and also said they knew me , and said my name , they perfectly knew who and what I was talking about, then said they were not busy so come and we can sort out your meal. They also clearly knew who the person was who booked and made me the offer after I had done them a good turn and service. I wasn't prepared for them to say that they didn't know anything about what we discussed on the phone..only an hour before I went to the restaurant 🤔and pretended they hadn't said it.🤔. but hay ho, other reviews cast the same vote I'm afraid. I turned up and did my job, got offered a meal as a reward, but didn't get one.. karma is all I can say😱🤣
