champion pizza in Scarborough

Unfortunately, I had some of the worst food of my life here. I ordered delivery of a pizza to my apartment, and what arrived was like someone had put a cheap supermarket pizza in the oven, and left it in for 15 minutes too long. The base was covered in thick black burning marks, and the toppings were almost virtually non-existent apart from burned tomato sauce, and the cheese was completely brown where it burned. I paid extra money to add mushrooms to the pizza but there were absolutely no mushrooms added, however, I was still charged for them. I was shocked this was served to a customer despite clearly being so far below standards. The pizza looked horrific, but I took a bite of it anyway and it was as hard as a brick. It was completely tasteless apart from the taste of burned food and oil. I’m not one to waste food but this went straight in the bin as it was inedible and truly rancid. I’ve only ever had food worthy of 1* twice in my life and this was one of them, but I’d rate it zero if I could as the experience was truly awful. I wouldn't recommend it, especially for pizza.
