the waiter who took are order was so nice and sweet very helpful i wish i remembered her name she had glasses and served me my sister and my mum and two brothers good customer service also her friend who was near the till i wish i remembered her name but she knows who she is i would come back just for her good customer service skills really nice positive energy the food was good aswell.

Might be the best desi restaurant in the UK, and also, the best staff - Iqra and Aishah are way too sweet!

One of the worst experience with my friend at this restaurant and we took two cup of tea which were karak chai which we didn’t feel that is karak just having strong taste of cardamom and we took one pistachio cream cake which were no taste and felt like expired that cause me sore throat and it happened me overnight which is definitely this reason as we felt that straight please better to go somewhere else had a really bad experience with them

Never order Pari chat. Very low quality and lower than average. £2 pound worth chaat selling at £7 ei £6.95. Very upset with their high expensive prices. It says salty chilli with potato, but honestly it's too sweet instead salty and chili. Worth of two pound.

Such an amazing place. Served by Simmi she provided top notch service. She directed us around the menu and gave us amazing service despite the rush and her being alone! The food was bang on and the mocktails were amazing. Our family day out was great!!

Amazing place, great customer service from aishah

Food, the first time i went i had prawn pasta and it wasnt the greatest experience as the prawns were overcooked and to make matters worse they tried to add a service charge, a charge that is so discreet you dont even know about it untill youve scanned your card and its too late. 2nd visit had the chicken varient of the same dish and i was pleasantly surprised the taste although a little bland was, i guess, great for the masses. The service on the otherhand was overwhelmingly great, the waitresses were on us hand and foot so no complaints there and the tea was top notch.

Overall tasty food and enjoyed having brunch here. I got the chicken and cheese toastie and fries (not pictured here as they came afterwards) and my husband got keema curry and naan which he said was more like crusty Turkish bread with sesame seeds. Staff were polite and although service was a little slow it was overall a nice family atmosphere.

Come here often to have their homemade parantha and homemade butter chicken made from scratch. You don't get many places that have that amazing quality authentic taste. By far the best butter chicken and parantha I've had. I need to try other things on menu but for now this is my go to order with a hot cup of chai off course 😍

Nice atmosphere and service was ok. Tea was 4/5. Now the bad news... Food was barely average. Dynamite prawns: 2/5 - didn't taste fresh. Desi breakfast 1/5 - paratha wasn't fresh. Keema was lumpy. Omelette was an omelette lol. Chaat platter 3/5 - chaat explosions were nice. Aloo tikkis were nice, but only 2 came in the portion. Papri chat was meh. Overall the platter wasn't worth £16. I used to rate this place highly 2 years ago, but something seems to have changed for the worse unfortunately. Hope things improve. Tea was alright tho.

The food was amazing, and the staff were lovely but needed more training. However, management/owner needs more training in customer relations. In saying all that, i would still come back there

The chef is confused with the flavours the momos taste like curry, chicken sandwich mixed with crazy mix of curry spices. They seriously need to get a chef that understands the importance of different foods then everything tasting like tesco curry. Disappointed ☹️

Went to Chai Green witch a group of friends and we were served by Ikhlaas. He was extremely polite and professional. The food was very good and we really enjoyed the house tea!

The environment was good and the staff were welcoming and had good service. However the food was completely rubbish and no flavour, the masala chips were only chilli powder on chips, the tea wasnt fresh, we had also ordered strawberry bubble tea and vanilla bubble tea,but the strawberry was just falooda and the vanilla had a Vaseline taste.

Unhelpful. Beware if you are coming here to eat if you have any dietary requirements. My son is diabetic, we asked the staff for the carbs ratio for the burger bun, the staff member and the head chef, refused to give us this information, or show the packaging, they were being very difficult. After explaining as a parent, I need to work out the carbs ratio and inject insulin accordingly via the app on my sons phone, the staff member said it’s our policy, we cannot show you the carbs on the packaging or give you this information. Absolutely appalling……..

As a regular visitor to the Stratford Road branch, we decided to try the Alum Rock branch since we were in the area. There were six of us, and everyone ordered brunch. I ordered a mocktail with my meal, assuming it would be fizzy as that's what I usually receive at my usual branch. However, I was wrong—the mocktail was still and tasted off. I didn’t want to complain and decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. While eating my meal, I noticed a foreign object in my naan as I bit into it. Upon inspection, I discovered it was a thread that had become entangled in the bread. I immediately informed the waiter, who showed it to the lady behind the counter. The plate was taken to the chef, and I was offered a replacement naan, which I declined as I had lost my appetite. When I went to pay, the lady behind the counter charged me the full price for all of my family’s meals until I reminded her of the issue with my meal. She applied a 10% discount, which I felt was insufficient given the quality and safety of the meal was compromised. In such cases, it's common practice to offer a refund or an alternative arrangement when food is unfit for consumption. Additionally, the staff at this branch are poorly trained. We had to repeatedly ask for cutlery and sugar for tea, as they failed to provide them when the meals were served. Overall, the service was disappointing, and this branch is not worth visiting.

Chai Green's breakfast is top-notch, especially the Pakistani offerings. The Halwa Puri and Chana are must-tries! However, the tea/chai falls short and doesn't quite compare to the quality you'd find at Chaiwala.

I recently ordered from Chai Green , and it was totally worth every penny. The food was delicious, and the quality exceeded my expectations. The momos were the best I've had in months—perfectly cooked, flavorful, and absolutely mouth-watering. Their sheek kebab roll is one of the best I've ever tasted, with just the right balance of spices and tenderness. Highly recommend this place for anyone craving top-notch Indian cuisine!

Tried it for the first time with my wife. Decent layout, good decor and seating availability. Ordered 2 different breakfast options, confirmed order twice in terms of specific options. When order came out, wrong item bought out for my wife but was changed. Food was good quality, portions a little small for my liking but was freshly prepared and flavoursome. Tea options were good and again, freshly prepared and served nice and hot. Would go back again. TH

I went to Chai Green in the morning and let me just say the Food,Service and the Atmosphere was amazing. The food that I ordered was excellent and came on time.
