The chai I got here was average but the price was high for the little amount of chai they serve and I highly suggest to get the chai in the cup not in the mutka pot because the amount is very low in the mutka and the taste of the chai gets bad.

Went here to get tea and the clay mug broke on my partner spilling hot tea all over her legs. She had burns on her legs with which I’ve had to treat. Although they refunded us and reimbursed us for the trousers I bought her to replace the ones covered in scalding tea. I would not recommend, especially since I think they reuse the clay pots which you shouldn’t do. If you do go maybe use the disposable cups since you may have the clay ones shatter on you when you pick it up.

I visited the cafe and I didn’t expected the mess i saw there the place was very filthy and Unhygienic the staff members are very unprofessional,disrespectful and behaving like owner i really don’t recommend this place at all !! One staff called nikhil was very unprofessional and don’t even know how to speak English!!

The service was amazing and the food was absolutely disgusting. We ordered 2 X breakfast and one was vegetarian and other meat unfortunately both taste terrible and the only good thing from the plate was the paratha and sweet I had taken a few bites and found a black hair in the meat and was just a put off Will not be returning again and was the nice of the gentleman who was a worker and trying to rectify the issue with the hair

Good place to hang out for a tea and snacks

Nice place, their popular cha sha blend was very tasty. Open space to seat outside on a sunny afternoon was bonus. Service was good. This was first time we visited, we also was offered to taste before buying - nice gesture 👏 We loved the motka they used for serving tea 😀 Paid parking easily available.

Good Chai is available with variety of Indian snacks.

The food was good, though portion sizes look smaller now. The service wasn't good. It was empty, yet all food was delivered separately. So as a family, it wasn't a good experience.

I am fussy about my tea. Most desi chai places are okayish. Have to say that tried this place on 10th Jan 2025 and the masala chai was really nice. Went back to tell manager, I think, Kashish, it was very tasty. The batch was really good. Will try it again. Hopefully it will be just as tasty again.

Stupid expensive price for low quality and quantity of food, do not recommend

Nice karak chai..ordered chips...mayonnaise that was squeezed on top had gone off and spoilt the taste. Went late at night was cold and wet..inside was rather quiet. Im sure this place has more of a buzz in the warmer months.

I would give 0 stars if I could. Ordered takeaway for 20:00 (restaurant specified collection time) and went to pick up promptly but was asked to come back after 20:45. Staff were very rude and dismissive and went away after saying to come back later to deal with the tables. Waited for more than an half hr with no one bothering to refund or even apologise! Absolutely disgusted with the entire establishment and staff as well as food. Food was highly overpriced and also packed quite carelessly which resulted in one of the contents spilling. If this is anything to go by, I am quite concerned about the food being prepared in their kitchens.

For what was launched as a really promising and quirky cafe serving South Asian favourites has become a literal dump! The place is so unhygienic and unwelcoming that no matter how much sugar they put in their teas, you jest leave with a bad taste in your mouth. The billing counter is sticky & unkept, the cashier is often busy watching reels on Instagram and doesn’t even make eye contact while taking your order, which she gets wrong never the less, the inside seating is grimy, dusty and sticky, the outside seating has litter all over the place (this is the fault of the Customers but since it’s Alperton, the less said the better), all in all very disappointing to see the decay of what once was a go to place for a nice tea and vibes. Alas!

Absolutely disgusting. There was eaten food and packaging scattered on the floors and table. Workers were talking about them being unhygienic in their native language. Food was disgusting with tissue still in the cardboard box.

At 21:20 they are closing there is nothing left apart from matka tea, 0 level of service

Good atmosphere, however the matka chai was very small and over priced at £3.75 and the pink tea was not great and missing any nuts. I would have expected better quality tea at a place like this.

This place has drastically lost its charm and gone downhill since last year. My family and I often went to Chaa Shaa because of atmosphere and taste. Had tea today which was awful. One can clearly tell from the grease on the countertop how unhygienic the food is. Their staff has changed, and the kitchen is really dirty. There are not enough chairs to sit and the lights are all broken. Wonder what has changed. Not recommended anymore.

CHA SHA and their in house chasha blend tea was fabulous and I definitely recommend to try it and the loaded fries with chicken was juice and freshly prepared I just love it 😍

Doesn't look particularly nice from the outside, the inside not necessarily that much better either but more than enough for what it intends to be, a small scale tea house. I had the Cha Sha Blend, pictured below. No frills tea, does the job and then some. I'm satisfied, hence not taking any points away.

Previous experience was good with service, staff and owner . But this time really bad experience as we ask for washroom the girl who’s there she said washroom is out of service. But very next moment the guy who already there he opened and used washroom. So don’t know why she lied.

I wanna give you a quick review about the most popular chai (chasha blend) that it’s tasting little bit different, I can feel a bits of cinnamon in my mouth now a days like I’m a regular customer , it wasn’t like this before a year ago!!

What a place for proper India tea So good and tasty

I have just tried tea of cha sha. I would definitely say it was worth it and reasonably priced. Nice environment, nice place, and nice location.

Not a great taste. Tried Matka Chai Cleanliness in the cafe is bad.

Visited London and wanted some nice warm tea. I got the cha sha blend which was amazing but I was expecting the clay cups but we ended up getting the paper cups. The atmosphere was brilliant nice and colourful. The cashier didn't know much English.

I can only comment on the atmosphere and service. The ambience is nice and colourful. I only came here because they are the nearest place to me to serve tea in clay cups. I came 30 minutes early before opening and asked specifically for clay cup tea, and the server said they open in 30 mins. I waited 30 mins in the blazing heat, and the server then said they haven't got any clay cups in stock but he can give me it in a disposal cup, which was just the same as a clay cup. I said that's not really true, as you can't get the earthy undertones. And he apologised. I just wish he told me when he was opening and not lied to me that they were the same thing. The clay cups are the unique selling point of his place, and that's what you see on Google photos and the website. Why undermine that selling point or even maybe lie when i could have gone to another place on ealing road. If anyone has had a clay pot chai here recently, then please let me know and I'll give the place a second chance.

Nothing great to write on. Machine made tea. Kullad tea had no flavour atall. Didn't enjoy atall.

nice place to hang out outside, but the "tea" is really bad qulity, expensive and overly sweet. it tastes like its made from a powder mix rather than real tea and spices.

Delicious tea and even hot chocolate was delicious. I would definitely splurge for the tea that comes in the clay cups. Perhaps it's just placebo but I thought they tasted great, and you get to keep the cup as a souvenir.

It's a nice little quaint place with outside seating in a library courtyard. Very little space and seating inside so not sure how it'll be in winter time. Menu is unique but the service and quality doesn't live upto it. Ordered a lotus paratha which didn't look or taste anything like lotus so not sure why it is called that! Small portions, it's more like a snack place. The only good thing I had and was different was the matka Pizza.

Editing this review after my recent visit on 31st May 2024: this place has literally gone down the drain! The place is filthy, and food has lost its taste and appeal. Short on staff as during my visit, one staff was trying to get multiple orders and seemed really stretched. Story of many similar branches where once money starts coming and management/owners get comfortable, the quality gets neglected and drops. Quite sure food and hygiene inspectorate may also have some comments to make. Previous review (provided in 2020/2021) although true and I won’t delete it, no longer applies: This place has an amazing vibe and “apni mulk ki” feeling. Thanks to staff, who are ever so polite, friendly and most importantly, always ready to help with a smile 😊 It’s Cha Sha blend tea cannot be topped! Just wholesome in every way, served in clay pots, the tea makes you connect with inner divine with the very first sip. Be it a night out with friends or a time for a hearty conversation with loved ones...the tea makes it extra special. The food too, is full of flavours. Often leave stuffed yet craving to have more. Give it a try...chances are you may get hooked!

Always a favourite place to go for a nice chai at night. Brilliant in the summer. Sometimes music is too loud.

We had a horrible experience here!! The order taking process was a mess, the barista had no clue what he was doing and had to get assistance from another member. The indoor seating area was so filthy and aged that I would not step a foot again there. The kachori looked dead and tasteless, threw away most of it and the samosa was below average. The only reasonable stuff was the tea, which was surprisingly good. But based on this experience I would rather never return to this place as there are way many superior places than this. Don’t recommend!!

Went there on a recommendation and was not disappointed at all. Decent outdoor space to sit under overhead shades and a big screen playing songs. Spaces inside the cafe too. Good variety of tea available in clay pots.

Nikhil is one the best person on the till, he has a very sweet gesture of welcoming the customers. He is well deserve to be a step up or a manager. I really love his attitude and sweet character toward the customers. Nikhil has the potential and a deserving personality to be a great leader.

very annoying atmosphere staff is jugding customers. not responsive properly and food is awful ordered wrap which is very bitter in taste. and employees frnds are talking loud and disturbing others customer.

We turned up late and there was no more All Day Desi Nashta available ☹️ Apparently they make dishes in morning , and when sold out that’s it, no more for that day! Good location and experience , and will be back again one day, if ever in North West London in the morning again

It’s always treat to have a tea at Chasha. Whenever I have tea in matka it reminds me of my hometown (Chambal -India). I have been constant visitor to this place since ages. I would recommend please go, and try their tea. You will love every single bit of it.

Ok. Nothing amazing, slightly overhyped and over priced

The samosas and samosa chat are amazing, and the chai is great too. The brother at the counter was super kind, I was new to the area and he was so considerate. I spent most of my day studying at the library and I'd drop in here for some chai and snacks and it never disappointed!

Service is not good, staff members are rude.. they don’t have sense, how to talk with customer… the guy in the picture think he owns this shop might be this could be his but were speaking broken english and showing off with his fake accent which proves alot. Please sit for IELTS exam for couple of attempts. Matka tea is okay I wouldn’t recommend again.

Awful and overpriced! I ordered a chicken tikka burger and all I got was frozen chicken in pav do not waste your time and money on this place. They took forever to serve us and gave us horrible food.

Food is nice however staff are horrible. Flies everywhere and very poor with hygiene. We walked into dirty tables and had to ask for it to be cleaned.

We went for an evening tea as we have liked the tea served here since the shop opened.. but unfortunately the experience isn't the same anymore. We ordered for cha sha blend and samosas.. we were told 10mins wait for the samosas and ws given a buzzer. The tea was cold and we just drank it anyway. The samosas came only aftr 25mins, and after once going and enquiring at the counter...and the samosas much to our horror was still cold from inside as it was not properly cooked, on mentioning it to them they didnot look convinced but they offered to give me one more samosa which I refused as i do not want to have another under cooked samosa.I came home feeling I wasted my money.. Will not suggest
