Centre Cafe & Restaurant in Forest Heath

Popped in here for a breakfast this morning with my best friend and I'm so glad we did! Firstly the place was spotlessly clean and busy, always a good sign. Secondly the friendly Turkish family who run it are absolutely lovely. I took the time to chat to them about Turkey and they were so appreciative that somebody took the time to show an interest that the sweet lady came to our table and gave me a little present from Turkey....I was over the moon! And, as for the breakfast....got to be the best in the area. Will definitely be visiting again. Thank you for a really pleasurable experience and I will treasure my gift xx

Due to being in a wheelchair, we had a takeaway lunch. Served in two tin foil trays but laid out like it was on a plate. Lamb roast, and they supplied mint sauce, and it was delicious, especially after 102 days in hospital. I can not recommend Center Cafe enough. The care they put into every thing they make is obvious. Try them, you will not be disappointed.

Loved this place and will be back. The food was fabulous and the employees were the best. A little cafe in the heart of Brandon. We were here visiting family and we felt like we were part of the community.

Following a wedding reception the night before, a good cooked breakfast was needed, & the Centre Cafe didn't disappoint! Good food, well cooked, & plenty of it for a very reasonable price. Several options available to suit different tastes & appetites. We went for the full English & thoroughly enjoyed it. Staff were very friendly & polite, & the cafe was well kept, clean & tidy. I'd happily go back when in the area again.

Good food. Clean. Good prices. Friendly staff. A very varied menu, everything from jacket spuds to roast dinners to fried breakfasts. Very good sausages!

Lovely friendly staff and huge breakfasts which are very good value for money. I had pancakes with bacon and eggs, and the pancakes were freshly made and lovely and floofy:)) Will be back again tomorrow morning for round 2!

Stop here now and then for lunch. The food and portions are good. My favorite is the breakfast, even if it is lunchtime.

We eat here occasionally and have always found the food to be excellent, generous portion sizes, freshly prepared and the service to be quick and helpful. The only downside is that the menu rarely changes.

First time we had been to the cafe and the breakfast we ordered was delicious. It was all freshly cooked, presented well and so tasty. The lovely waitress was so friendly and the cafe was spotlessly clean. Would recommend to everyone to go to this cafe. Will most definitely be coming back

Passing through Brandon and having missed lunch, we stopped at this cafe. What a massive amount of choice on the menu! We opted for the all day Mega Breakfast and the Corned Beef, Egg and Chips (with Baked Beans as an extra). The food was produced really quickly, freshly cooked and piping hot, in very large portions. Drinks were ice cold and the price was unbelievably cheap. We can't believe that anyone could go to this cafe and not find something to their liking - the range of options is vast. Highly recommended.

Staying in Brandon . Going out before hotel serves dinner. Spotted the centre cafe and so glad we did. Cooked fresh and done well. Friendly and pleasant.

Good range of breakfast choices to suit your belly and your budget - all come with tea/coffee plus toast. Bit of a mix up regarding order but rectified and a complementary tea appeared during the delay. Honest mistake - friendly service.

When i don't have time, i come here to eat a quickly food even if i know there is no fresh food here , and always when i take my food i found hair and this is the 5th time!!! , i never wantd to say something but now is enough need to do something really is disgusting !!!

Went to this cafe after our train was cancelled, want a nice find. I had the easy breakfast which was excellent and everybody was happy with their various hot drinks, which was definitely needed on this cold winters morning. I would highly recommend.

I wanted to find a place for a substantial breakfast with a few friends before a day's shooting nearby. The breakfast was excellent, a wide choice was available and it was served quickly. The staff were helpful and polite. I highly recommend this place.

We visited the cafe with my elderly father-in-law who, despite living nearby for many years, hadn't visited the cafe before.

Two "All day breakfasts" with a portion of chips to share was a pleasing challenge to us both. Only just managed it. Excellent value for money, clean with friendly service. This was our first visit and we will return. Eagle W

We had a full day ahead of us and wanted a breakfast to fill us up for the day. We were heading into Thetford but saw that this café was open as we passed through Brandon so thought we would give it a try. It was busy at 9am on a Sunday morning but we managed to get a seat. We ordered 2 small breakfasts which came with a coffee or tea and toast. I was really pleased with the coffee as it was a latte, what I would have preferred. The service was very quick. The breakfast arrived and was huge for a small breakfast! This is somewhere I will be returning to.

Popped in for lunch. Unpretentious cafe. We had cheese omelettes and chips and beans. Very good piping hot omelettes with plenty chips. Very reasonably priced. Friendly service. What's not to like.

It situated in the high street Brandon Suffolk. You will get a very friendly welcome. The food is very good, reasonably priced and plenty of it. I go 2 to 3 times a week and recommend this cafe.

ok food gone down hill very salty at times , average food , quick and easy food ,large area to eat polite staff .

We chose this place for lunch because it appeared to be doing a brisk trade compared to other restaurants nearby. We found out why - the portions are generous and the food tastes great. The menu is what you'd expect of a traditional cafe; breakfasts, omelettes, chips etc, but also delicious looking roast chicken and more unusual items like liver and bacon. I had the latter, and it was the best I'd tasted in ages!

All food was frozen or tinned. I've never had tinned tomatoes and mushrooms for brunch before. Eggs were both over and under cooked with scorched bits, yet still completely runny. Would never eat here again.

This is such a friendly and welcoming place to eat or just have a coffee, the portions are very generous and the prices very reasonable and the coffee really is the best we have found anywhere, where ever we go, Scotland, Cornwall, Yorkshire, humberside, this is still the best coffee

Came here for breakfast, the portion size is good as are the prices, but the food was let down by the sausage. In this area of the country almost everyone promotes their meat, especially pork, but this cafe served the cheapest sausage it could find.The rest of the breakfast ingredients were fine, although it would have been nice to have warm plates, I left some of mine as it was stone cold before I was finished.On the positive side the staff were polite and the service prompt.Fine for a cheap bite.

Been here for Brekkie several times, and never disapointed, the food is always hot, plentiful and good value!! Staff always attentive and restaurant clean (although the Loo could do with more attention, but I don't need to go in there often, and I have seen a lot worse!!)

Basic but a big portion for the money. It's a typical 'greasy spoon' cafe; not the place for a romantic date but a good value, down to earth place for simple food in decent servings. We came in for breakfast and 2 of us didn't manage to finish it all! It's always busy whenever I go past if that's anything to judge it by.

I was in the area for the BSB at snetterton race circuit and stopped off in this place! I looked through the windows of 3 cafés on that street and this one looked to be the best value for money! I was pleasantly surprised at the vast menus and affordable prices, their where plenty of tables to choose and extra seating for babies and small children if needed! The where European and very friendly and helpful! And importantly the plates where large ;) and good portions! The bathroom was larger than expected and relatively clean! All in all I would recommend this place ! 7/10

Would recommend anyone to try Bex and Alex's cafe. Nice Turkish owners. Clean prompt service Always busy. Great value for money. Basic meals/snacks but lots of voice.You wont be disappointed.

Have always had excellent meals in this cafe, but the liver and bacon I had recently was excellent. I even managed to upset my wife by saying it was the best liver I'd ever tasted.

We stopped by for a late lunch and had omelettes, eggs and chips. The food was delivered quickly and tasted great. Conveniently located right downtown Brandon. If we went back to Brandon we would eat there again.

I have to take issue with another reviewer. Their bad experience may have been a one-off ( I hope). We have been to this cafe a few times for coffee and lunch. It's standard greasy spoon-type fare: all-day breakfast, lasagne, jacket potatoes etc. but nothing wrong with that. Nice lattes and friendly staff.

this is a reveiw about a cafe that was the worst cafe i have ever been to ,i live near brandon and have been in here twice and now i understand that this is a cafe that gave me a stomach ache the next day.I was with my mum and her friend. we were trying to decide who was going to get the salad cream.so i did and when we had already eaten some we realised the colour of the yellow salad creame we thought we should take a look at the date (best before 0 and the date was january 2012 so this salad cream was a year and 3 months ,10 days out of date ,well we could not belive it ,it was at that momment i got my cuation tape out of my bag and put it right across the plate and left and said what a bad resturant it was,and how much tuna was in my sandwich
