Central42 in East Riding of Yorkshire

Very average meal & dining experience. I had nearly all of the vegetarian meals and they were uninspiring - the baked aubergine had 3 small pieces, hummus was average and flatbreads lifeless, olives were ok, brie was just warm enough. Overall nothing to get excited about and won’t be returning in a hurry. Left feeling hungry as I didn’t want to order any more on the menu I love the idea of tapas but it could do with finessing.

The wife and I really enjoyed our breakfast, she would of preferred her eggs scrambled that option was not available. Why Hash browns was served with an English breakfast? I would have liked Black Pudding instead. Good service, friendly staff, will return and check out the Tapas.

Lovely restaurant with great helpful staff. Nothing is too much trouble and they accommodated our small children really well. Food was delightful and well priced. Plenty to choose from. It’s the second time we’ve been and we will definitely be going back!

WOW! What a fantastic coffee shop! First visit and I was genuinely impressed with their care and knowledge regarding gluten free food. I had the Eggs Benedict and my child opted for a small cooked breakfast, the sausages are not gluten free so he asked for an extra hash down. We all ate our meals with no complaints. The service was outstanding, they honestly couldn't do enough for you. It's so refreshing to be given a menu and have multiple options available for both myself and child.

The food was absolutely amazing there are a range of drinks to pick from the desert was cracking. Absolutely amazing service from the staff.

Our Spanish class enjoyed a night out at Central 42 - and had a really good evening. Kyle and Lauren looked after us well - Kyle engaging us with Spanish conversation and testing our skills at ordering our food using the language. Lauren's engaging smile and hospitality made it a really pleasant evening. On top of that he food was delicious. It is a great menu and there is much to choose from. Thoroughly recommended.

Superb tapas lunch which was good value for money, served by friendly helpful staff, Kyle and Lauren. Excellent dessert and coffee. Will definitely be calling again when in Beverley.

Visited this place with friends for the umpteenth time because we always enjoy the food. The service is prompt even though it is often a busy venue. The staff are always pleasant and friendly in particular Kyle who is very attentive. We shall return very soon.

The staff lawer and Kyle was very friendly and helpful and the venue was spotless the toilets was spotless loved to go there again the staff even opened the door for you to come in and out.

Lovely meal out on Sunday evening. The three of us had a variety of tapas, all of which were very good . I had the seafood paella which again was lovely. Our server Kyle was great. Would definitely recommend.

We weren’t sure what to expect..so we went in and had a very delicious coffee followed by a salad both served by friendly smiling staff.The background music gives it a holiday feel too .Definitely will visit again as we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Nice trendy place to eat but a bit expensive. Ordered dessert of the week to be told it had changed and a completely different dessert brought to the table. After refusing it then asking for the bill, I was told the kitchen had been told to give me the dessert I expected. Strange and a bit annoying as it extended the wait for too long.

Wonderful place for breakfast! We went for the first time a couple of weeks ago and have been 3 times since. Every time, very friendly staff with a great sense of humour, great food, and very fair prices. One of the best breakfasts we've had in a while (hot, eggs done properly, decent quality ingredients). Will definitely be going back soon!

First time visiting and this place had such a lovely atmosphere! The menu was carefully explained to us, the food was absolutely to die for (we got the tapas deal with a few extras) and the service was also absolutely brilliant! We also got a dessert sharing platter which was divine!! Thank you for a lovely lunch, we will most certainly be back!!

Me and my partner had researched someone to eat on google, and in all honesty we were heading somewhere else, however we crossed here and decided to go here instead and I’m glad we did! We had a lovely breakfast together, which was cooked brilliantly, we both cleared our plates. We both had refreshing apple juice and I had a lovely green tea. The whole experience was amazing. A beautiful establishment, with great customer service, kudos to Lauren our waitress, who provide a warm welcome and enhanced our experience.

The tapas is to die for and the breakfast are fantastic and consistently the deal on the tapas is a good to get through the menu staff are fantastic professionals at what they do .I would highly recommend kyle are waiter was brilliant please keep up the fantastic work guys and see you soon 👍

Lovely restaurant, great food, great staff

We visited for dinner last night having already been several times previously. We had a few minutes wait for our pre booked table but we ordered a drink while we waited, which was served promptly. We chose dishes from the tapas menu, which were very tasty and nicely presented. We also had a glass of the vinho verde white wine, which was really lovely. We shared a cheeseboard which was delicious and finished off with liquor coffees and a limoncello. Service was really good, friendly and efficient. All in all, it was a really nice evening and of course we will return.

Our first stop on a visit to Beverley. Food is excellent in quality and price. Coffee is really nice, staff always friendly and courteous.

Love it here. We have been a few times and it’s always so good. We try to have something different and everything we’ve tried is good. The staff are lovely as well. Would definitely recommend it.

Came in for breakfast after we couldn’t find anything we fancied on the breakfast menu at our hotel. The menu at Central 42 had lots of variety which I appreciate as I don’t like a fry up at breakfast time and prefer something sweet. The restaurant has a nice cosy atmosphere and felt welcoming. My husband had the Eggs Benedict and I had the pancake stack with berry compote and white chocolate mascarpone. Both were very nice and arrived fairly quickly. Our server was friendly and attentive, took an interest in what we were up to that day and generally made us feel good about being there. Would certainly come again for breakfast next time we’re in the area.

Called in Tuesday 21st November as we were shopping in beverley and wanted a snack to keep us going. Spotted croissant with butter and jam, perfect!It came slightly warmed mmm.Very good. They do breakfasts as well. Also watch out for special offers ie current one is for 4 tapas plus drinks for a very reasonable price. Very pleasant, helpful staff, great atmosphere, very very popular. Well worth a visit.

I think that the food was disappointing; the paella tasted like a microwave packet of Uncle Bens.

First time at a Tapas restaurant, really enjoyed the whole experience. Fabio was brilliant and entertained us all evening. The food was delicious, the choice was varied and the bill was very reasonable at the end of the night. We were made to feel very welcome despite the place being extremely busy. We visited Central 42 on a busy Saturday morning, the staff were very friendly and efficient in finding us a table for 4, even though the place was very packed. Our waiter Kyle was prompt to greet us and ask if we’d like drinks. He returned a short time later to take our food order. The menu choice was very good something for everyone. Our food was delicious, presented well and piping hot. All staff were friendly and efficient and knowledgeable. A lovely atmosphere to be in. Everything was 10 out of 10 so we returned the following day for another excellent brekkie.

We make a point of going here on our visits to Beverley. Very clean, the food is excellent and the staff very welcoming.

Amazing food and very good service

Went for lunch on a thursday, the place was almost full, ordered the Tapas offer £24.95. ordered pork belly, pork ribs, koftas and king scallops (a supplement) extra chunky chips with a drinks included, £31.95, fabulas tasty food. The staff were great, we will be back.

My sister and I shared three great tapas dishes and enjoyed a couple of lovely mocktails , we completed the meal with cheesecake and latte.....perfect.

We came on a Monday night so were able to take advantage of the tapas deal, which makes for great value for money. We found there were plenty of options for the tapas, and when our slections were delivered we loved them all. I particularly would reccomend the lamb skewers and the pork belly which were delicious. The service was great - prompt, helpful and friendly without hovering.

Lovely tapas as usual, had the calamari, filo rolls, pork belly and chilli nachos today, all very tasty. Coffee is very good too. Lovely buoyant atmosphere, waiting staff always have friendly smiles. Very enjoyable.
