I've been here twice now with family, and I must say both times we've had a very lovely experience. The owner is very friendly and warm; she's attentive but not overly so. The decor, music and overall ambience are very authentic and prepare you for the delicious food to come. And as for the food, it's absolutely delightful. I love that they have a good range of vegan dishes and none of them are short on flavour; both times we ordered a selection of mezzes with pitta bread and left feeling very happy, full and satisfied. The lentil soup is lovely and warming too.

Lovely restaurant serving good food and affordable prices. The restaurant is really small and the seating was a little uncomfortable being backed against the wall and having to keep moving the table to get comfortable.

Took my wife here yesterday, the food was amazing, the food was incredible, and the service was lovely. We had lamb and chicken shawarma, Batata Harra and Houmous, and I’ve never tasted Lebanese food better than what I tasted last night. Special thanks to Suzanna and Unisa, great service and made us feel especially at home, price is justified by the food and the service. Definitely one to go for if you’re looking for a great atmospheric here and even better food. Thanks again!

I've been here about 3 or 4 times now chicken shawarma and halloumi wrap and vine leaves I had last time and was very tasty and authentic. cedrus is the definition of Authentic lebanese Cuisine, great atmosphere aswell.

The incredibly friendly and welcoming waitress greeted us at the door and was kind throughout our meal. The food was delicious and we will certainly visit again! I believe the food was all cooked fresh too, which is amazing.

An authentic taste from home and im so happy my partner found this gem! The food is incredible, fresh and healthy. The portions are generous and its so well priced. This will now be our weekly restaurant! I can’t wait to go back. The atmosphere is very homely and you feel instantly comfortable with the hosts’ hospitality. Everything was incredible & if I were to have 2 things on repeat it would be the fattouch and the taouk.

A lovely little gem of a restaurant in the middle of Sidcup high Street. Great food, similar but different to Turkish/Greek food (in case you wanted to know what Lebanese food was about). The place is small and cosy, with the kitchen in full view (so make sure you book) AND OMG - you must try the red chilli sauce A- maz-ing!! We will be heading back soon - they do take away as well...

Love everything about Cedrus, the staff are lovely and the hot and cold mezzes are particularly good. We have both veggies and meat eaters in our party and there was plenty for all to eat and share! The portion sizes are great and very well priced. Will definitely be back (again!)

Authentic fresh Lebanese cuisine from a lovely husband and wife team. I know Lebanese and Middle Eastern food well. This restaurant was a delight and far superior to the chain offerings. It was easily on the level of the best Lebanese restaurants I have eaten in in London which is little surprise given the pedigree of the chef owner. The care and the passion he is taking with the food shows in the taste. I highly recommend and will be going back even though I do not live close by. There is nothing in Kent that is close to this quality and authenticity !

From my previous experience I know that Arab restaurants serve generous portions , this is the first restaurant I see food that is serving a small portion that my toddler wouldn’t find filling . Plus the food was cold and the rice tasted undercooked . Not worth the price at all 😡

My Dad was on a UK trade mission to Ramallah in the Palastianian West Bank in the 1980s. That's not Lebanon, but he LOVES this place. It's friendly, the food is great, and it feels very authentic. They have arak to drink.

1h30m waiting. Had to call the restaurant and they said the food was sitting there for a long time and there was no driver there to get it. When suddently arrived, the quality was really poor, the food was cold. Just extremely disapointed with JustEat and the Restaurant

Really tasty but small portions

This is a small family run Lebanon restaurant in Sidcup High Street. Never been here before but walking past it we saw it was quite busy and came aback about 45 mins later after it had emptied out a bit. The lady was very friendly inviting us in as we thought we left it too late in the evening. However no issue. The restaurant inside has a nice décor which takes you to another country, ( I assume Lebanon) we liked the window brick framing of the green garden view set in the wall We did not know what to have on the menu all sounding tempting but without the knowledge what it was! So we opted for a set meal for 2 It arrived and it was a huge plate of various meats and rice with salad. We we eat it all, I found it very tasty without blowing your sock off, I would say more tasty than spicy. With a drink and small dessert around 58 which is very consistent for a meal out at time of writing, I would recommend, and will visit again for night out.

I took my friend here for her first Lebanese meal and it was the loveliest evening! The food was delicious, portions were generous and service was brilliant. We felt like we had just walked into somebody’s home and the hospitality and friendliness we were met with made me feel like I was back in Lebanon. Can’t wait to go again soon! (And would highly recommend the fish for mains)

Enjoyed an evening meal at Cedrus, lovely freshly prepared, particularly enjoyed the falafel which we could see being made and delicious hummus. Large selection of Lebanese wines and strongly recommend the Kefraya.

We have contacted Cedrus as we needed catering for our party. Everything went smoothly from start to finish They understood what we needed and added suggestions Everyone loved the food !!! Food was freshly made. The chef and manager running the restaurant are professional and pleasant to speak to. The restaurant is cozy and comfortable. I've been in the UK for a few days visiting from the USA and I had my best meal in the UK today at Cedrus.

Honestly can say that this is one of the best restaurants I've been to in a long time. We ordered the set menu for two and the food kept coming, each dish was generous and so so flavourful. The atmosphere is very nice, relaxing and well thought out - the secret garden is certainly a place to take a date too. The owner was a lovely guy, and treated us well. Non-meat dishes are all vegan (I'm not).

Food delicious, staff very good attentive but not intrusive, wine excellent and alfresco dining area was really lovely. I would highly recommend.

UPDATE: I originally posted this review during COVID not sure why it's been boed up to four weeks ago except that we also went four weeks ago and had another fantastic meal .. maybe because I added the star ratings it's using my old review. Sorry if it's confusing! I'd just like to add we've been several times and it is consistently brilliant. ORIGINAL REVIEW Had a fantastic meal here just before we went into Tier 3. We chose a range of starters, grilled meat and salad and everything was so fresh and delicious. The staff were really friendly and welcoming and we can't wait to go back. It was a lovely atmosphere. Would definitely recommend for takeaway while we're in tier 3.

The server was lovely and laughed at (put up with) my dad's awful jokes. They had a nice selection of vegetarian dishes, all of which were delicious. All potential dietary exclusions are noted, so restrictions can be accounted for.

My choice in Cedrus was based on other TripAdvisor reviews. During a brief visit to Sidcup and living in a part of England where there isn't a wide variety of ethnic foods, I was completely looking forward to Lebanese cuisine. I wasn't disappointed. Unfortunately I was unable to eat both courses I had ordered Due to the fact the vegetarian platter was enough of a meal for me. The chef/owner made sure my grilled sea bass was boxed as a take-away, Thankfully. An independent restaurant Not a chain. They're definitely worth the patronage.

Wonderful place...The food was 10...the attention of the waitress and the spectacular cook... She explained everything to us in detail...we let her surprise us and she got everything right...It's nice that way...

Not great to be honest. Was expecting something more authentic from the description I.E. "Toasted Lebanese bread stuffed with sliced halloumi cheese, thyme, extra virgin olive oil and pomegranate molasses" turned out to be lettuce, tomato, cucumber and halloumi sandwiched between 2 tortilla-like flatbreads. Houmous was blended up to a really smooth paste. Wasn't awful, but not really that appetising. The wraps weren't great either. Carelessly thrown together. Quite bland. Was hoping for a bit more colour and fresh ingredients etc. Overall: Expensive and disappointing.

Best restaurant and food in Sidcup. Lovely family running the place, really good and friendly service. The atmosphere is nice and cosy, like others have said, it’s not a large place but they don’t make it feel too cramped. Lovely mood and dining experience every time I’ve been. Food is never disappointing and is served in good time and most importantly very delicious. Highly recommended place for a couples, families and friends.

This is genuinely my favourite restaurant in Sidcup, the owners are SO lovely, it’s such a gorgeous cosy restaurant and the food is sensational. Every time I go past I get a wave, even if I am not going in, and I feel like whenever I visit I am visiting friends. 10/10.

Today was my first time at Cedrus, they were so accommodating we got a reservation on short notice on a busy Friday night. It was fantastic! Best Lebanese food in the area, the staff were friendly and attentive, the set menu for 2 was well worth every penny the portions were generous! We wasn’t rushed at all, I can’t wait to come back with family & friends - the hot and cold Meze was amazing especially the kibbeh which was outstanding, and the meat was all very tender.

The moutabal was delicious, and the lamb was cooked well! Great flavours and ambiance!

This is a Chef lead restaurant, he cooks with pride and delivers perfection. The Lamb shawerma is miles better than anywhere else in the UK, crisp from the outside yet still nice and juicy with perfect mix of red meat and lamb fat. We also tried their Sambousek, Fattoush, Wark 'nab. I'd it all again next time....great service and the decor is simple and true to Lebanese culture. I won't bother going to central London for a nice Lebanese meal any more. Keep it up!

Lukewarm food, price was a bit high, portion was small, food wasn't all that as I've had Lebanese before which was much better. Food was served and within couple of mins I was asked if the food was alright, I didn't even try everything yet 😄 before I finished eating, the lady came and took my friends plate away as my friend finished before me, that was so awkward and embarrassing, I've never seen or experienced this before, I've always experienced were both plates get taken away together once finished, the lady could've waited till I finished. 😕

Good quality food, family owned restaurant, 10/10 for all dishes we had. Excellent place for lunch/dinner.

Great addition to Sidcup. Visited for lunch and had the lamb shawarma- very tasty and loved the homemade sauces. Friendly staff and nicely decorated setting. Will be back. June 2021. Tried to order from Just Eat. Order rejected with no explanation. Called the restaurant and apparently they are ‘busy’. Shame. July 2021. Also on deliveroo! Tried their website and ordered 🤗. Great food and probably my favourite restaurant in Sidcup. February 2023 Still love the food but disappointed to receive cold chicken wings and luke warm kebab and chips to tonight 🥲

My partner and I visited for our anniversary and it was a lovely setting for a romantic occasion. The staff were very kind and accommodating, the food was amazing and we could not get enough of it. Forgetting the name now, but the hummus with the lamb chunks were incredible for starters. Would highly recommend. We couldn’t leave without a take away menu. Will definitely be returning in some shape or form.

Fantastic Lebanese restaurant - we enjoyed lots of fresh and tasty mezze and some really good and well priced Lebanese wine. Great juices too. Recommend the moutabal, chicken livers, and tabbouleh especially. Lovely atmosphere and friendly welcome. A great addition to Sidcup.

Had the most amazing wrap and lamb cutlets! The lamb was cooked a perfect medium, my wife is a fussy eater and the owner made her a lovely lamb cutlet wrap which she absolutely loved! It was nice to talk to the owner, amazing service, will defo be back. Oh and get the spicy hummus!

Great place. Came here for NYE and they were open till midnight. The food was really good, everything tasted fresh and was a good price. Service was also great and very accommodating. After our food we asked if we could have some shisha outside and they took us to a lovely outdoor area. It was just us but we felt really welcomed and they were very accommodating for us doing the shisha. The owner was very friendly talking to us a lot about Lebanon. Will definitely be coming back.
