I have always liked Cedar Bakery. It is one of the rare places I go to have some nice food. The last time I was there was over a year ago and it was really great. However, this time, unfortunately, I have to put 1 star.! The meal we ordered had 2 big plastic pieces in chicken. I almost swallowed it, the same happened to my partner. This made very worried as such piece when swallowed could have caused internal bleeding (yes, it was sharp). It made me think I might have swallowed some before and not noticed? Waitress did apologise which was nice, however, i would have expected the chef or boss come over and make the things right. We had to ask this to be deducted from the bill, however, I believe we shouldn’t have paid anything at all. The place is nice but indeed this shocked me. I don’t think the people working there realised the seriousness of this matter- causing serious health problems by possible swallowing of plastic pieces as well as heating up plastic pieces in the chicken may have caused microplastics and other toxins release in the food. It made me wonder if people there thought it’s enough with apologizing, what else would they turn a blind eye on? Please be careful and make your judgement before going to places.

The kanafah at Cedar Bakery is amazing, reminds me when I was young on holiday in Beirut, the service was great too, definitely coming back!

Terrible experience. Service was very slow and food took over half an hour to come, despite there being no other customers. Food was either cold or clearly not fresh. As if it was microwaved. Staff looked like they would rather be anywhere else. Ordered a meat dish and was served a dish with no meat. Upon questioning, the staff claim that it only comes with meat if specifically for. Complete scam. Expect this place to shut down within 6 months.

I was there at the weekend on a family late lunch and we were able to enjoy a good meal, starting with the hummus and the main course which were a couple of wraps We also saw a large collection of deserts and Leventine sweets

I went there last week. The owner was lebanese, but now the restaurant is under new management(not lebanese), which means you won't be eating authentic lebanese food! It took them too long to prepare our order. We ordered chicken shawarma that came with a lack of chicken and full of lettuce and tomatoes(lebanese shawarma shouldn't come with lettuce and tomatoes). Pastries are not that good and small portions. The prices are quite expensive. The salad wasn't fresh at all! They also charged me £3.01 for dining in. Bought additional 2 dairy items before leaving, and the price was expected to be £ 4.50, but when I reviewed the bill after leaving, I discovered that they charged me £6 instead! Lack of Cleanliness aswell! Avoid!

Service was great, food was good quality too. I brought my family here and felt comfortable.

It was a great experience, the food is delicious, the service is excellent, the prices are good, in addition to that the lounge employee is friendly, welcoming and caring for customers, I highly recommend it

Today we had Eid breakfast, which was delicious. Although it was crowded but the service was extraordinary. Thanks Raja for the fantastic service, you was like a bee( take the order, clean and serve the food).

This place is a hidden gem and I'm glad I discovered it. The food is fresh and tasty and is reasonably priced. The staff are attentive and friendly. They do fresh baklava which I will definitely try on my next visit.

سيدار من أفضل المطاعم في مانشستر من ناحية طعم الأكل، وأنا زبون متكرر عليهم، أجي عندهم من مدينة يورك اللي تبعد ساعة ونص، للاسف تجربتي اليوم كانت أقل مما توقعت واعتقد اني ممكن ما أكرر التجربة. كمية الأكل قلت والسعر ارتفع مقارنة بالمطاعم حوله. كمية دجاج الشاورما قليل جدا جدا.

It is one of the best places to have breakfast in Manchester. The food is very delicious and the atmosphere is very nice. The staff are very very friendly. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

Everything was good except the price and toilet. Price can be considered for the present economic situation but considering other restaurant is bit higher. But the toilet should be more cleaner....the most important thing is the dish I had contained peanut...that might be mentioned in the menu which I didn't noticed may be many other customers might be aswell. So request to the front house staffs please mention the customers about the nuts

Horrendous experience, refused to put air conditioning on. Food was cold and they got the order wrong. Staff have no manners whatsoever, definitely not cut out for the service industry. It’s like they were offended by us asking for items from their menu. We were charged a sit in charge of 7% 😐 and then we came across a homeless man sleeping outside smoking a gas-canister. The experience and food was awful.

Orders a mixed grill for one, was throughly impressed. All pieces of meat ranging from chicken shish to the Kobe da were cooked well and kept moist. The naan comes warm and soft and most remarkably stays soft. Would recommend if you are feeling a bit spendy.

Second time worst experience, with the same Lady at the bar; food was cold (twice), at the end, she wouldn’t let us split the bill, even though at any posh or non posh restaurant you could split a bill. Told us to pay full cash or card and had no other choice. So if you are going there, good luck with the no experience staff and rude staff too! Definitely won’t be going again!

I went to their Ramadan Open buffet at the weekend … and the food is so yummy 😋. Although the varieties are not too much , yet you can have the soup , salads , main dishes and sides and the food tastes really good . After you finish eating , you can ask for tea and coffee for FREE . The place is quiet and calm away from all the crowded and loud open buffet . It was a nice experience.

Best Lebanesse breakfast in Manchester. In this ocassion their service was a bit slow and toilet higene could be better.

One of the nicest places worth going to, quiet, warm, smiley face, the food they have is delicious and desirable, and I hope to repeat it again, they have a delivery service within Manchester, I recommend going to it..

Rude staff and terribly small portions of salads- I ordered 4 portions of fattoush and tabbouleh to fill in some takeaway Tupperware (neighbouring restaurants always accommodate for this but were closed today, hence I tried Cedar for the first time). When I received the salads after being told I had to wait more than 20 minutes, I couldn’t believe how small the portions were- their excuse was the tupperwares were large to fill. When I voiced this to reception, they said they would speak to the manager. Suddenly the chef emerged and started defending his sample size portion sizes using his small tray sizes. I couldn’t believe the audacity and the rudeness of how he treated me like this in front of other customers at the restaurant- it was embarrassing and shameful to me personally. They should know better to respect, listen to and prioritise their customers, given I paid around £25 for the salads. I would not recommend.

Just had lunch here with my hubby. The food was delicious, will definitely return. Restaurant area very clean and staff were professional and friendly.

I fell in love with this place the very first time i visited when they opened. Till date it's my favourite place to go and have some quality food. Their desserts are so so fine. Hygiene and cleanliness is top notch. Staff is amazing specially Ghania. She's so caring and friendly. I recommend everyone to give this place a go.

This place is superb! Atmosphere is amazing and the staff is really friendly. They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. Food is amazing and their baklava is the best you can find. For their prices it’s 100% worth it. I highly recommend this place.

I had a wonderful time celebrating a family birthday with brunch at cedar bakery. I have been several times before and each time staff have been lovely and accommodating including for bigger groups. Service is excellent and the food is freshly made and delicious. The meat shawarma meal and pastries are particular favourites and excellent value. I would highly recommend a trip to cedar bakery!

The food was nice however overpriced, the 2 stars to reflect the service which was awful! Very slow service with 2 waitresses despite the restaurant being empty, the lady who took our order was very rude and abrupt, never again.

Looks pretty, but tables and chairs seem basic but clean. Portions served on massive wooden boards and if you order 3 then there's no room on table. Badly organised. The waiter was a bit rude maybe it's his way but he just wasn't bothered and seemed to have prejudged how or what we we about order. Not cool . Just get a pleasant person to take the orders guys, we will come back and see how things are. Swarma was ok in taste. Unusual chunky salad . Like quarter of a lettuce just left as and other saved just left whole which I thought was strange and no effort was put. That's the reason for only two stars, its just a lazy attempt to effect a eatery.

Hidden gem. one of the best breakfast I've had. Quality ingredients absolutely amazing service and so clean.

The place is really well kitted out with with kitchen through a glass on the right and seating area to accommodate around 35 to 45 people in side and outside around 15-20 people. The service was really nice by the hostess and food was nice looking until something odd on the back of the muhamara and cheese I picked first. The hostess changed for manakesh and then realized changed the wrong thing and got muhamara and cheese. Overall great customer service experience despite the doggy bit with food. Definitely would recommend the place. Food: 6/10 Service: 10/10 Atmosphere: 10/10 Overall Experience: 7.2/10 - would be around 9/10 if the issue didn't happen with food in the first place.

First time here. Everything I had tastes delicious! Especially the homemade lemonade it was so good! I tried a few pieces of baklava and I was blown away. I have never tasted baklava as good as this. Went back to get a tray full to take back with me. Will definitely visit again if I'm in Manchester again. Keep up the good work! 👍🏼

Had 2 coffees and Baklava. They charged 10% service charge, for what exactly? You just did your job and walked to 2 metres to our table. The place was empty. Shame on you.

I have been to this place a few times. I really like their breakfast. However this time I went I was really disappointed. Firstly we were the only customer there, it took 40 minutes to get our food which was literally eggs and humus. Another customer walked in asked for lahm Jain. He sat there for a good 20 minutes then the staff told him sorry no lahm ajin. What absolutely joke of a customer service is this. Ok the food was nice but by this time I was so frustrated waiting, I didn’t enjoy it. Then the bill comes and the prices have sky rocketed since I came last month. It was a total rip off.

This is our favourite breakfast/brunch place in Manchester. My husband and I are both Lebanese and the food is amazing!! The staff is very nice and friendly. Sometimes we order food, sometimes we go to the place and the experience is always 10/10. Super recommended!

The order took too long time and they weren't busy .The Manakesh wasn't Baked properly , the size is very small comparing to it's price. In General everything over priced and the taste 5/10 . Definitely not coming again.

We had a delicious meal at Cedar Bakery tonight. The food was nicely presented, fresh and generous. It’s one of the best Lebanese we’ve had in Manchester. The service was so friendly and welcoming and the staff were really lovely to my daughter. We will definitely be coming back.

Only wanted a few piece of Baklava and the staff were more than accommodating, made me feel welcome and not uncomfortable at all. The baklava was fresh and crispy, my mum loved it. 10/10

My first time eating here, and the food is amazing. I can honestly say nothing in Manchester compares. The breakfast we had was beautifully presented, portion size was good and the taste was great. Also the seating and the music are lovely.

I ordered from deliveroo and the order took way too long due to driver issues that they had nothing to do with. but yet they managed to provide hot food as well as extra goodies from their menu free of charge. Abit disappointed with all these reviews online, personally the place is very nice to eat in. Lahma with eggs was good 10/10 , hummus was average 5/10, tehhnia sause 🤯 clearly not how it should be made. falafel was also average, fool was shocking not a big fan of labanees fool it's like eating balila at side streets back home. Fatta was awful 0/10. Service was okay, staff were very nice. Price is also expensive for the food quality and location. There's room for improvements.

I tried their kanafh كنافة نابلسية. It is amazing and the coffee is awesome. The staff was 10 of 10. I recommend it to anyone who love sweets and coffee.

I have tried Knafah for the first time today, while being at Cedar Bakery to buy baklava, and it was absolutely amazing. The place looks very good and the staff was really helpful.
