Casella & Polegato in Perth & Kinross

Would have liked to have eaten a meal here as we tried to book but essentially the place is too small for customer demand. We went for drinks and conversation but kept being reminded of table bookings….we were fully aware thank you. Yes - this table is booked from….so you play booked table roulette until it is time to actually eat solid food somewhere else. Honestly not a favourite BrewDog - venue is simply a compromise to get the brand in Perth. It is too small for demand. Expect to get moved on to another venue that can cope with demand.

The food is very tasty. No culinary highlights, but just tasty. The service was not up to par on the day we were there. It was very busy while they only had 7 reservations for the evening, so too few people. They worked very hard and apologized properly. They were also very friendly and responded adequately to someone who was smoking on the terrace.

Great pizza and the service was wonderful! Top notch and highly recommended.

This restaurant came highly recommended but unfortunately it was a bit of a let down. The menu is very small, there's really not much choice. We ordered a pear cider and a pint of fresh orange and lemonade, only to be presented with a strawberry and lime cider and a very small glass of juice. Upon raising this, we were told they had no pear cider and had no clean pint glasses. The food took ages to arrive despite it not being busy. The steak was fantastic in fairness - juicy, well cooked and with delicious garlic butter - but the coley dish was disappointing. An absolutely tiny piece of fish which was completely overcooked. Over £50 for two drinks and two mains is not a cheap lunch but we've had better food and service in the pub than we had here sadly.

Food was okay, nothing amazing (but it’s a snack so not suprised 😉), the bar seating is really nice, and the service is great ! (The barman spoke French to my parents, so they were able to order by themselves, and they loved it ! 😂)
