Enjoyable food and helpful staff.

Absolutely beautiful restaurant.Took me and the wife for a nice anniversary meal and all the staff at Casa Nostra made it a special night for us both. Thanks soo much too all the team.

We visited for lunch and both had pizza. Food and service were excellent. The lunchtime 2 meals for £14.99 is great value.

The food is cooked to order and very fresh ,very tasty,it reminded me of my visit to northern Italy a place called crissto where the food is cooked using local products. The staff was very good and attentive.service was good as the restaurant was very busy and full .every table was full with people enjoying the wonderful food and wines .I would definitely be coming back when I visit Leicester again .

Monday steak night. 2 great steaks and bottle of wine £21.95! Service very good as well. Certainly go back with friends.

Visited Casa Nostra for father's Day and we will absolutely be back. Wonderful service, gorgeous atmosphere and the food is delicious. Fantastic for allergies with many vegan and gluten free options. Also, accessible and plenty of high chairs.

We had a delicious Grande Pizza, followed by a lovely homemade tiramisu and an amazing gelato with chocolate fudge cake and cookies! Very kind staff, quick service and clean establishment. Greetings from "the cute couple" ;)

The “grande” thin-crust pizza was very good, as was the chicken salad. Wines were reasonably priced.

I really tried to like it but service felt chaotic. The staff were lovely and worked so hard but it just didn't work for me. The food was excellent but let down a by a bit of a canteen atmosphere.

Unfortuneatly very busy and service consequently slow. Waited over an hour between starter and Main course. Beers warm Bill confusing at end as assumed people ordering from different menus. Food was OK.

This was our first visit and we were greeted warmly and shown to our table. (We were given a choice of three tables). It was surprisingly large inside with ample tables. Most of which were already occupied. The waiting staff were all very efficient and friendly. And the decor was very pleasant too. The food arrived surprisingly quickly and was delicious. We found the portions generous too. We enjoyed it so much that, to be honest, it was hard to believe we were actually in Wigston! It felt so nice! Suffice to say we were very impressed and look forward to visiting again soon. *Recommend booking as advised they do get busy.

Nice little Italian restaurant. I had the strawberry mocktail, with the sharing starter platter as a main and lemon meringue sundae for dessert. Good food and friendly service and atmosphere.

Good choice of dishes, my starter was fairly simple (mozzarella/ tomatoes interstacked) but generous, main meal tasty pasta dish, finished with a tiramisu.

The food here is always amazing and the service is always great too. This is definitely Wigston's hidden gem!

Good vibes and plenty of seating. Plenty of food options, including lots of vegetarian and vegan friendly options. Staff were friendly and ensured we were well looked after. Food was nice, but I wouldn't say it was the best Italian in Leicester. Portions were quite large and at times heavy. Pasta option was better than pizza option. Lots of drink options.

A classic Italian restaurant with fantastic food. The wood fired pizzas are some of the best I've ever had. Great atmosphere and helpful staff. Very reasonably priced too. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely lunch at Casa Nostra yesterday. The food was delicious and the waitress was friendly and attentive. They also accommodate special diet, swapping the chicken on their pollo salad for meat free chicken instead, which tasted really good. It reasonably priced too, with a good variety of mains for £10.95 each. We will be back.

Fabulous place authentic warm and very friendly

Our 2nd visit to this Wigston Italian and whilst it hasn't a large extensive choice of food it does the most popular items at most reasonable prices. We find it very convenient and a much needed boost for Wigston.

Excellent service and atmosphere. The ongoing offer for 2 or 3 courses is quite good. Bruschetta was okay, I wouldn't really call it a bruschetta though, more like a pitta bread with cherry toms and some grated chased as well as balsamic gel. Would like to see a bit more cheese really. Penne Al pollo dish was nice, I think the bechamel sauce was a bit too much though and made the dish very creamy, could do with a little less. Good value for money overall and main dish was really big portion

We had a meal here last night, 4 adults, honestly we could not fault it, food, service all top rate. The Arrabiata was better than anything I’ve had in any Italian restaurant , we will be returning.

Fabulous restaurant and atmosphere. Very friendly staff. Food is of high quality. Great range of options. I’m also gluten free and they have a fabulous selection of non gluten containing dishes so I’d recommend this place even if you have a gluten intolerance or coeliac. Will continue to return!

Well worth giving Wigstons latest restaurant a look. Food is well presented & tastes good as well. Service with a smile. Try the lunchtime set menu, which is good value for money. Will be going back to try an evening session.

If you love your Italian food and don't mind not having much choice with the menu and eat most foods this is the place for you. Even thou I like Italian food there wasn't much choice for myself or my partner, plus to us it was a bit on the expensive side. Least we tried it.

We decided to go here as we wanted to celebrate our 45th wedding anniversary together with a meal out. Food was divine and I'm the most fussy person when it comes to eating out! Atmosphere was great and I'm not surprised it was so busy with the class of food and service; very attentive and friendly. I had the linguine salmone, hubby had the meatballs, both were delicious! We were naughty and had a dessert which was also lovely, I had the chocolate fondant and hubby had the Biscoff cheesecake. Food was fabulously presented and very tasty, no complaints; in fact our compliments to the chef! Will definitely be recommending to family and friends. A lovely touch was the presentation of a bottle of Prosecco on the house to celebrate our anniversary. Very kind. Thank you Casa Nostra for great food, great service and a lovely dining experience. 10/10. We had a lovely evening. Looking forward to our next meal with you.

Came here for my 40th birthday last week and everything was great. A bit of a delay with main meal but as there was ten of us i understand that. The lady i spoke to throughout whole process of booking right up to end of night (sorry, i didn't catch her name) explained everything to me and did everything to make it all run smoothly. And it was definitely a nice surprise when they brought out a special birthday treat for me. Will definitely come here again in future

What a shame we had to wait and wait for our food yesterday lunch time. We were told that they hadn’t expected so many diners and that they only had one chef on duty. When our food did arrive I have to say it was so good and plentiful. I had almost finished my main course though when I had to remind the waitress that I had ordered a side salad. I do hope this restaurant stays the course but a rethink on staffing issues might not go amiss.

Kian ( i think the name is correct ) was excellent, busy but helpful, service was fast, food was excellent and drinks were lovely. Arrived to find a weekday set menu that we would actually choose from and it was a bargain!!! Will revisit soon, nice, local and welcomming. My only request and its small is for dimmer lighting but thats my preferance. It was very bright. Other than that the food was lovely and well worth the money. Wine prices were good too and was even given the cap to take home what we didnt drink. Well done all involved.

Was really looking forward to trying the food in here, we decided to go for our 30th wedding anniversary, and what a disappointment, waitress was indifferent not even a smile, maybe it's better at lunch time

Went here for a group family meal and the staff were really accommodating. Replenished the water without us having to ask. food and drinks came out timely but not too soon. You get really generous portions as well, we ordered a couple of sides with our mains and we didn’t really need them! Most of our meals were really tasty and rich, I think the only complaint was the fruite de lá moire was a little bland but overall really lovely experience. Will deffo come back!

Excellent food and very well priced. We turned up without booking and they seated us, the mid week 3 course menu has plenty on it and is good value for money. All 3 courses were well cooked and fresh, the pizza was especially good. Think we have found our new local eatery.

Got a last minute reservation, atmosphere and overall vibe was cool, had calamari starter and what I have to class as the finest grilled salmon one has ever indulged in, solid service, solid decor, solid staff, shall definitely be back an absolute delight of a meal and a wonderful evening.

Absolutely lovely meal, wonderful fast and efficient service, lovely atmosphere made a nice night out for my mums birthday.

Delicious food; good portions, friendly service and atmosphere. But, it did seem a bit expensive for Wigston (plus they charged 85p for a “dash” of lime in a lime & soda, which was £3.10 in total). Also, when I queried a small price difference on the bill (a dessert listed on the menu as £8.95 was £9.15 on the bill), we were informed that the till system had been updated but the physical menus hadn’t!! Surely, that’s a massive no-no? Overall, a lovely meal and evening. But shame about the couple of negatives.

We went for lunch today and the food was delicious, the portion sizes are generous and the service was great. This is the second time I have visited and both times I could not fault it . I would also like to thank the lovely waitress who found my phone. We will be back !

A really good restaurant for wigston. Food was amazing and I would 100%recommend this place. The noise because of the floor space and volume of people in there was loud, but that didn't take away from the amazing experience we had. Cant wait to try the lunch deals.

They say some food puts you in the mood to get wed. Everything about this place wants me to get divorced. The staff were useless, took several times for them to ask for our order and drinks. The staff (must've only been about 3 total, with the combined effort of 1 and a half) kept making themselves look busy without doing anything useful. I asked several times for the bill, to no avail. When we eventually decided to get up and find a manager for our bill (as by this point, it was clear they weren't interested in helping us) - a horrifically rude member of staff had the audacity to accuse us of stealing! I cannot recommend more strongly enough that no-one ever goes back here unless they're breaking up with someone, in which case it's the perfect place. Not only was the service terrible, but the food was also almost inedible! Mèrda, what they claimed to be an authentic Italian pizza barely constituted more than a cardboard circle with tomato ketchup on, bunged in a microwave for 30 seconds. Don't be fooled by their claims of authenticity or use of a pizza oven when the food we got, I wouldn't even give to my dog. I don't know how on earth they've managed to stay afloat when the food they sell, one could get from Sainsbury's for a tenner, yet they charge around £60 each for what you would think is a normal portioned not-too-fancy meal. Drinks - don't bother. Bring a water bottle and fill it up with anything from a local shop. You'll have a wider selection of drinks and beverages from the Gregg's across the road. I hope the management and owners of this place read these reviews and turn this place around. It has so much potential (well, as much potential as you can get for being in Wigston) and it's apparent that this place is nothing more than a money-laundering business or tax write-off. If they hired more (or at least competent) staff or gave staff more training, it could really turn this place around. Sadly, for me, I think this place is beyond any hope.

In Italian, “Casa Nostra” translates to “our home” well if your home is a poorly decorated, overpriced, fake italian in an uninspiring location then there we go. Where anywhere gets off charging the awful prices for food and alcohol as this place does, I don’t know. The beer selection is awful and shockingly expensive for a small bottle (they don’t have beer on draught), and the cocktail menu is less than basic. Wine list is okay I guess. The food was not great, at all. It wasn’t presented like authentic Italian and it sure did not taste like it. I’ve summered in Italy on numerous occasions by the way, so I’d know. And if they’re using a proper pizza oven, whoever works in the kitchen should probably brush up on how to use it as my pizza was very undercooked and didn’t really have a taste to it in all honesty. The service was nothing more than average, staff seemed busy but service as a whole was slow and a period of around 40 minutes elapsed between asking for my bill and finally receiving it. The interior design of the restaurant is tacky and ostentatious; the acoustics merge poorly with the seating plan and you’re lucky if you can hear your dining party or the staff over the droning ambience of Wigston Casa Nostra Restaurant. In conclusion, not worth a visit and certainly not worth the price charged. I regret that Google doesn’t allow zero star reviews because that is what me and my dinner party think this place deserves.

Visited at lunch time with family. The service was very good and friendly. Extensive Italian menu with good choices for vegans. Portions were good at a fair price. Decor was very good with tables well set out. Will definitely be visiting again.

Went on a Sunday evening with 2 of my adult children, not that busy, so a bit cold inside for me anyway. But we were served pretty much straight away, one very happy waitress one a little more subdued but great taking our order. We all had a grande pizza which was delicious fresh and light. With one starter and a salad to share. We all had dessert. I guess £90 is about average nowadays for 3 people. Good place to check out.👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
