We've just came back from the restaurant. I can't describe enough how delicious our food was! All 6 of us enjoyed our meal a lot. We definitely will be back! Thank you so much! Would strongly recommend to visit this restaurant.

Very slow service & part of one meal arring after everyone elses. Although very pleasant servers not enough to cope with the bookings.

I'd walked past lots of times before but never been in as I'd thought it was an outside restaurant but not so. My friend suggested we go for a change and I was delighted that she did. The staff were extremely friendly while still professional and the food was delicious. My friend enjoyed her first ever pizza - she's 89 this month and has no idea how she's never had one before. My chicken breast with a cream and mushroom sauce was superb, and the sautee potatoes very good. If I'd been on my own or with someone with a larger appetite than my friend I would have gone for the 3-course pre-Christmas menu which had some very tempting dishes. Ah, maybe next year.

The best service, the kindest waiters, the most responsible manager and the most delicious food.. if I could I would give them 10+ ..Thank you very much for the most beautiful party that you organized for us...it was at the highest level... RESPECT!!!

We visited on 2 occasions, when in the area. The service was a little slower on the 2nd occasion but the staff were apologetic. Varied menu, extended by specials. All the food we ordered was excellent and the service was friendly and generally good. Selection of wine was also good. Would definitely go again.

After reading the review regarding the chef urinating in the rosemary bushes ansdthen using them for cooking I was a bit skeptical. I had a thorough look around the building and couldn't find said bushes so thought I would chance my luck. I mean, who wants to ingest urine? Food was delicious, portions huge! Great service, will definitely definitely be back.

Disgusting staff who urinate over the rosemary bush out the back by the flats then cut it and use in the restaurant on the food they serve

Went here for anniversary dinner last night and it was closed. No note on door. No call to us to let us know. Called them and was told problem with kitchen and to ho to luigi’s in Ilford for free bottle of wine. We had already paid for cab and did not wish to go further from our home. Found another excellent restaurant nearer to home. I consider this really bad service.

I went here for a photo shoot for Uber Eats and all the dishes smelt very good. I tried all the dishes shot and they were fantastic. My girlfriend and I decided to come the Saturday after to enjoy the pizza....and we really enjoyed it. A true Italian pizza... finally! Fantastic food and kindly staff. If I could, I'd have given 6 stars. Thanks guy.

We booked a table for 7pm on a Sunday the day before for my Dads birthday. We arrived a little early to be greeted by the waiter who immediately told us that the chef was leaving in 5 minutes and so they could not serve us.We asked why he did not call us but he couldn't give a reason, and kept only repeating that the chef would be leaving in a few minutes, and so we had to leave.We have been to this restaurant many times in the past and, if they had called us and asked us to come to the restaurant earlier, would have gladly done so. As it stands we will not be returning and will be letting our friends know not to trust a booking at this restaurant.

Spent a wonderful traditional Italian a afternoon great food very attentive staff reasonable priced thanks one of my family's favourite and fun places to be. When my friends come they say what a gem and say how relaxed they feel a home from home.

Had dinner running very very late. For a chicken dish and a steak medium we had to wait 45 MIN and they were mediocre. Took ourselves the menius as no one was greeting and had to wait at the exit area for 15 min so that someone could take the payment. So unhappy. Would not recommend whatsoever!

If italian is what you're after, I highly recommend Casa Italiana in Chadwell Heath as the place to have it.From the greeting at the door by Julian our amazing waiter we had an experience not a meal. The place had a wonderful relaxed atmosphere and the food was just delicious. We started with gamborini prawns that Julian recommended and they were delicious, to then the seafood pasta and lasagne (both as yummy as each other). There was nothing that i could find fault in - the place was clean with a quiet peaceful atmosphere, the service was attentive, funny and friendly and the food just topped it all off. If you want somewhere atmospheric and peaceful to enjoy great times, this is a place to do it. Bon apetito.

I love everything about this local restaurant - the food is outstanding, the prosecco and wine is beautiful and the staff are absolutely awesome. I have been here three times now and cannot wait for my next visit.

I took my husband there for his birthday and apart from a lovely bottle of Mateus Rose, the whole experience was very disappointing. I ordered the Calzone and my husband ordered chicken in a chilli sauce. When the food arrived, my husband was served Chicken in a mushroom and garlic sauce so he sent it back. On inspection, my pizza dough was raw and the filling was cold. When my husbands food came back, I sent mine back to the kitchen, only for it to be microwaved, the lettuce and tomato included. Such a shame as we’d been here before and had tasty food. Will never return.

I have been dining in Casa Italiana for almost 10 years and can honestly say I have never had a bad meal here.

Really good Italian restaurant, we decided to go on Friday night, the restaurant was really busy, we had really good service but also really fast and friendly, the food was really nice. At the end I decided to order a cappuccino, which was really nice and served with mint chocolate next to the cup, what to say exceptional, we'll be back here very soon !!

Have quite enjoyed coming here in the past. However, a recent visit was not much fun. A nearly empty restaurant on a Saturday evening should have rung alarm bells but we were seated by a friendly waiter and ordered food. Asked for a bottle of Rose wine but was told that they had none. Perhaps you'd like Prosecco? No, we'll have a bottle of Montepulciano please. Sorry we have none. What about Prosecco? Eventually they came up with a poor quality Pinot Grigio, Pasta dish I had was too salty but otherwise would have been quite good and the accompanying salad was fine.. It's a shame as it is the only local Italian restaurant that isn't part of a chain.

Really fast service we had juliano he was so attentive made us feel so welcome, the food was impeccable ther service was spectacular.

Have often see this place but never visited so we decided to rectify that and paid a visit on a Saturday night with 7 friends We were greeted warmly by the owner. We had shared anti-pasta which was delicious. We all ordered various main course varying from pizza to pasta and meat. All served up at the same time along with shared platters of veg and salad. We had the Montipulciano and Chianti wines both of which were delicious. It was a very enjoyable evening and would definitely return.

We came here for my friends birthday and the pizza oven was broken. Awful food rubbery chicken soggy veg and wine that looked like pee. It was the second bottle and not told it was a different brand. Herded out at 10pm as the staff wanted to leave.

We have not dined here for a few months so tbought as its local we would try this restaurant this evening. We were not made welcome and felt rushed. Food was ok. First bottle of wine lovely. Second bottle not good. Replaced with house white. Nice. More or less got shoved out of restaurant at 10pm as they wanted to go home. No complimentary drinks which we have always had. We will not be returning any time soon.

the stuff to eat is very good the tiramisu is fabulous, the waiters are very friendly, they come back.

Sadly on the day of our visit the manager was on holiday, the waiter Vino was very rude, kept us waiting for ages, served others who come in after us before us, we waited 30 mins just to order drinks!

Having recently enjoyed a good italian with a rating of 4.5 we decided to try this place, with an equal rating.

Reviews look quite good. The people were nice enough but dispute being very quiet the service was pretty poor. Food served without proper cutlery and had to go inside to ask. The start was cold inside and the pizza was only marginally better than something I could have warmed up from a supermarket.

five of us had two courses for easter Sunday. Both starters and mains for everyone was delicious. beef raggatoni starter was a thing of beauty and the roast lamb was delightful. All staff were attentive and very friendly. will defiantly return

I had the pleasure of eating at this quint restaurant on the weekend, we meet with a friend, the food was very nice with a great a atmosphere for a relaxed catch up with friends. I would recommend if you love great Italian food.

This was one of our favorite family restaurants. Six of us went for a family reunion and six of us were disappointed.

Tried the takeaway - great! Visited for a birthday celebration and was must as impressed. Staff were knowledgeable about the menu and helped the undecided make a choice. The food was well cooked, well presented, plentiful and full of flavour. Great value for money and probably the best meal out I have had for a long time. We will definitely be back!

Just moved into the area and there is not a great deal of choice for restaurants aside from the kebab houses or a pub. Went for a wander to see what was around. This is a small place tucked away off the High Street. We arrived just before the kitchen closed on the Bank Holiday Sunday. As we only wanted a light bite and a drink we took 4 starters between the two of us thinking they would be tiny as most starters in restaurants are these days. Plenty of food! a plate of perfectly grilled sardines, large grilled butterflied prawns in garlic & butter, tomato brushcetta & a huge slice of grilled goat cheese on marinated grilled vegetables. Decent bottle of white - Falanghina. This is a local place, with good home cooked food, not a soul-less chain as someone else suggested to go instead. Nice friendly people not to mention the lovely Carlos running the kitchen. We'll be back!

Tried this place last night, the food was really nice, very nice fresh produce cooked well. I had 2 fish dishes and they were both great and my wife had vegetarian options. Having been to Italy a lot this restaurant would not be out of place over there and served very good traditional Italian food with some nice specials on the menu. The staff were very friendly and service was good. Prices were reasonable as well.

Visited here on a Saturday Night. Food was very good. Service was quick and served with a smile. 3 starters , 3 main and a few drinks came to under £60. Was very pleased. Got very busy as the evening went on so will definitely book when we return. And we certainly will.

Was looking for an Italian in my area and found Casa Italiana. What a great find! Delicious food, lovely staff, reasonably priced too. This has now become my favourite Italian.

Visited this restaurant on the 06 January for the first time. Restaurant feels friendly and welcoming. The portions are huge, be prepared to leave with a very full stomach!Really tasty food, what you would expect from a tradicional Italian restaurant.

Lovely hidden gem in the heart of Chadwell Heath. I had a lovely impromtu lunch with my dad where they offer three courses for £9.90 during the week. The portions are generous, the quality of the food is great and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. There is parking to the back of the restaurant should you desire. I will definitely be back. I had a pasta starter with aubergine and tomatoes, creamy chicken with mushroom sauce, the crispiest tastiest roast potatoes and amaretto cake. My dad had minestrone soup, lasagne and lemon tart. We both had red house wine which was very good.

Have been visiting this lovely independent italian restaurant for a couple of years now and it never disappoints. Authentic Italian cooking .. always a specials board and the portions are overly generous (usually take a 'doggie bag' home as the food is too good not to!). I cannot recommend it highly enough! Hadn't tried it having just bought a flat close for mid week use. So mindful of reviews we collected friends from the station & went. A cold night the warm environment welcome.Shared a massive whitebait starter & good value house red. My chicken aubergine in tomato sauce again large & tasty & came with an over the top portion of small roast potatoes. All meals arrived in a fair time. The others weren't complaining about their orders either.Really good waitress & the owner had time to recommend the local Jamacian's beyond the call of duty. We will be back!

I was looking up places near to my grandparents so they didn't have far to go for the birthday meal. This place is a little gem! They made a note of his age and name so they could give a proper birthday celebration! The food was lovely, so we'll cooked and the service was impeccable.They even showed us to the lift entrance so we could push grandad in his wheelchair and as I'm on crutches it was perfect, and we had a lovely round table.We didn't notice how long the mains took because we were chatting and having a nice time. We had a mixture of starters to share, then each chose a main. Not much for veggies but I did fine with a salmon en croute from the specials.Such good value for money too. We had wine and soft drinks and it came to about £30 each. We want to come back ASAP!

Went here for a birthday meal. When we arrived the table we booked wasn't even reserved. This is where the evening began. They had a big party upstairs which I understand can be difficult but to wait 1 hour 40 mins between courses isn't acceptable. The food was ok nothing out of this world. We did complain and got a voucher towards money off next time. I can honestly say it was our first and last time here. There are much better Italians locally.

Booked her for our anniversary but very disappointed starters were nice but mains a disaster waited about an hour then the waiter said they had run out of lamb and he'd had to go out and get some ! Really not worth the wait, lamb was average but the steak was awful. We love Italian and was hoping this would become a regular haunt for us but alas no !

The decor and ambiance was very good. They had a dining area outside which resulted in the restaurant being away from the road, making it quiet and also a good spot for smokers. All of the dishes were good. Worthy of mention were the mushroom and aubergine appetizers. The liver and bacon main course and various pasta dishes. iF we went again we might share more dishes because the helpings are very generous. The wine list was small but the Multipulciano we had was excellent and reasonably priced. Definitely towards the top of our list for local eats and as the English language skills of the waitress improves it will be less charming but more efficient.

I went here recently. This was a conpact restaurant but authentic.Nice food cooked fresh. The only thing to add is there should be more variety in your menu (limited options for a italian) especially vegetarian options.Although when requested you made exactly what i asked for so accomadating.

Very good menu, have a good look at the specials board as there is always an excellent choice on there, too. A firm favourite with the regulars so it is advisable to book, especially on a Saturday. Good (and well-priced) lunchtime menu, too. The staff are all very friendly and the food and drink is both good and reasonably priced. Never been there for Sunday lunch but friends have said that they do a decent roast, too. Recommended.

Had set menu on a sunday. 2 out of 4 starters were unavailable. Roast dinner meat was processed and we got 3 potatoes and a tiny portion of veg each. Desert was nice and wine was lovely but overall a very expensive meal for what we got. Service was friendly but wouldnt return.

The staff made us so welcome and even advised us that we didn't need as much food as we had ordered as portions were big. So honest but we didn't listen and so had to roll out at the end of the evening. Already planning our next visit

Words can not describe how good the whole dining experience was. From the amazing staff, wonderful atmospher and sublime out of this world food!! We went with my family and my father liked the sound of one of the dishes, Veal with anchovies, but doesnt like anchovies so the chef made him a totally different dish with veal that was just heaven sent as my father discribed it. We sat in the courtyard with our two little dogs and were treated like royalty. This is the best restaurant ever!!!!!

Was so impressed first time I just had to go again and this time I started with the melon and parma ham followed by the pan fried chicken in garlic butter with vegetables. It was freshly cooked and hot, fresh veg with roasted potatoes accompanied the dish, veg was al dente the way I like to eat them. Had a bottle of house white which was a pinot grigio. Excellent value for money and the staff are so lovely, food is fresh and tasty and plenty of it, I will go back again!

Been here quite a few times over the years both with family and with two different clubs, never been disappointed. Food is well presented and appetizing, My daughter is quite a fussy eater and unadventurous but even she likes it in the restaurant. Gets busy as it's popular so booking is recommended but on a warm evening you can sit in their small courtyard and eat.

I was pleasantly surprised by my recent visit to Casa Mia. I've often walked past, but this time decided to stop and check it out. It was fairly quiet when we first arrived, but it did start to fill up about 9pm. We were greeted by friendly staff and seated immediately. We were give menus and our drinks orders were taken straight away. We were given complimentary olives whilst we made our choices from the menu. The food was very nice, and the potions were very generous (we took half home with us) We had King Prawns and Garlic Bread to start, and Pasta dishes for mains. All the food was well cooked and tasty. A very reasonably priced local restaurant which I will definitely be returning to.

Pleasant enough restaurant and staff and reasonably priced, unfortunately the chef does not know how to cook seafood (some rubbery and some powdery). At the end of the meal we wanted brandies and they only had 2 brandy glasses??? Oh yeah, and an outside toilet.......

Tucked away just off of the high street opposite the Eva Hart pub is a great family run Italian restaurant complete with courtyard alfresco dining in the warmer months. The stuff will make you feel very welcome and the food is fantastic and good value. We love it.

Great food, only downside was the draught by the window and having to go outside for the toilet! Would definitely go back though.

We had prebooked a table and when we came in the female bartender didn't welcome us or really acknowledge us at all. Just kind of looked though us! That wasn't the best start. After a few minutes of standing waiting for someone to seat us a man came out and just kind of looked at us too! We said we had a table booked and he looked at us surprisingly and said is it that time already?!We were finally seated and attended to. Service was a bit slow considering at the time we were the only people in the restaurant. All of the starters were nice and tasty.Mains were ok-Salmon linguine was quite saltySeafood linguine was tasty but it was let down by the rubbery and soggy squid in batter! To be honest it was like they had taken the left over calimari starters and thrown it in the tomato sauce. That really let me down especially as this dish was one of the more expensive ones on the menu.

This is a location my family have visited regularly over the years, it is recently under new ownership and is even better than before. We last visited on a weekday lunchtime when the set menu offers good options for a very reasonable price. The blackboard specials appealed to me, I had a beautiful veal t-bone which was just perfect, this is not just a "pizza and pasta" Italian!Give it a try soon

This restaurant changed hands 3 weeks ago so we weren't sure what to expect today but I'm so glad we went. 10 of us had a 3 course meal which was very reasonably priced, large portions and delicious. The new manager is kind and friendly and we will def be returning. The starter was a buffet of Italian delights and I hope it remains on the menu. Delicious :0)

We had a Christening celebration last weekend. The food was absolutely great, nice presentation and the owner did his best to find solutions for our many requests.We had a great time so I highly recommend this place.
