Essex Kebab & Pizza in Barking and Dagenham

Very bad quality food, very bad taste, rock hard chips, meat and cold. Don't waste your money here. There are much better high quality kebab places in the area. And this is not one of them

So today I orded 2 large doners and chips for the family at 20.05 pm , I have used these before in the pass and was good up to a point . Recently they have reduced there meat and chips and was good enough to feed the family the dough was falling apart I tried to solved this issue over the phone this evening, a member of staff took the call and said I would get a call back in 10 mins here I am at 2045pm no call so I said I would leave a negative review if they don't call back as I made my complaint and wanted it to be followed up which never happend . I won't be using them at all again if your asking me for not use this place as they don't care about customs. I will now carry using angles kebabs as I thought I would give this place a second chance which was even worse when I started using them.years ago .

All kebabs is without any salad and no separately option to add it only meat and chips 😮‍💨

Food is not good- tried chicken doner not so good.

So I have used this place for years but a few weeks ago it had a refurb and looks like it’s changed owners. I tried a lamb doner and to be honest, it was poor. I thought I’d give them a second chance thinking it could just be a one off but no, todays was even worse. Really has gone down hill, cheap produce and poor quality food

Ordered a lamb Shish , there was hardly any meat , it was totally over cooked and didn’t even come with a salad . Avoid this place

i ordered 5 items and 1 was missing. it took over 40 mins 3 phone calls and 1 of which the person on the other end hung up on me & then turned up stone cold. very rude and unprofessional.

First time I have not enjoyed my meal. Chicken cut so small and cooked within an inch of its life and so dry it was hard to chew and swallow. Shame as everything else was good just not the main part of the meal

wasn't great, food was cold doner tasted old just not nice half of it went in the bin! waited awhile for it aswell so annoying should always stick to what you know DONT TRY NEW PLACES!!!!

Ordered lamb doner meat and chips. Meat was disgusting chips were alright.

Definitely one of the better Kebab spots this side of Dagenham. The meat is of a higher quality, which is reflected in the price. Food tastes great, the lads in the shop are cool. Highly recommended. Overall good price, tasty food

Bought a regular doner kebab. I got a small amount of meat, moderate amount of salad and a tiny piece of bread. I don't recommend.

So . I order lamb Doner and 2 pieces of chicken for delivery. Chicken pieces are ok . Lamb Doner consists of around two strips of lamb Doner ,handful of chicken Doner and chips piled on top so chips are completely soggy . £11.50 down the drain. Don’t order form this pit

I love it here. Proper underrated. I always get the mixed kebab or special mixed kebab and it's great value for money and very well cooked every time

Food was awful from there ordered two lamb shish large he probably gave me single shish each for both. Quality of the meat was poor and Salad tomato was off not going back there ever again!

Absolutely brilliant service the lads who work in shop are so polite and ensure you have everything you need would deffo recommend will not go anywhere else !

Worst customer service ever. waited over 2 hours for delivery that was meant to be 30 minutes and every time I called them they said it will be 10 minutes. Delivery driver was stroppy and rude so told them to take the food back. Would not recommend 😕

First time ordering here last night and was pleasantly surprised at how most and delicious their chicken donner was. Very pleased with the portions as well, they give you plenty l couldn’t finish it at all. The chips were the best I’ve had with any donner meal soo far and their salad portions are very generous too. Very pleased will definitely be ordering from here in the future

I have ordered there twice. It came within 15 minutes. And twice the pizzas was undercooked. And the smell of that fresh wet dog smell from the pepperoni made me want to throw up. I have never smelt pepperoni with that strong wet dog smell that bad in my life I thought it was the ham from the 1st pizza so I bought one with pepperoni and it smelt even stronger. Dunno where they get their meats from but they need to change it doesn't even taste like pepperoni.

Once got mistakingly delivered the wrong meal, I phoned to let the restaurant know I had the wrong order. manager apologised and asked if I'd like a discount next time, I said it's not a problem but thankyou anyway. Within half hour a replacement meal was sent. Manager and staff are so lovely. Highly recommend

The chicken kebab I had was delicious, good amount, enough to fill an hungry horse. Clean and righly placed

A very hygienic kebab, chicken and pizza shop. The wings from there taste great every time with a little spice. The fries also taste good and the pizzas are also amazing as I've had food from there for 3-4 years and everything had a lot of flavour.

A small neighborhood kebab store with a grill close to the front door always have chicken on it. That’s the reason I went in and tried their chicken meal. I ordered a half chicken meal with fries and a drink for just 5 Pounds. The chicken is small but soft. Just the right amount of spicy as they asked for my preference. Good fries and fresh. Wonderful value!

Phoned directly for a delivery. We like our doner a specific way, fussy you may say but no I'm paying for food so I would like it cooked a certain way. This kebab shop cooked as asked with no questions. Food arrived hot well presented and there was plenty of it. Can't fault them in any way. Ordered 2nd time asked for the same thing as first ordered they forgot the sauces and it wasn't cooked as per instructions was disappointing but when I called they were very sorry so.... . Ordered 3rd time same thing ordered, food was not well done food was not presented in pitta bread as asked. Couldn't eat it the dog enjoyed my £22 of kebab. Won't order from here again. First time was lovely to draw you in as a new customer then it all goes horribly wrong. If you want to pay for food and have it your way don't bother buying from here save your money.

Absolute joke guy was being rude and swearing over the delivery phone, Also the younger boy put burger sauce instead of mayonnaise horrible experience will not come back here, customer service was very bad as they didn’t understand English very well

Absolutely superb, ate every bit! I had a chicken shish the meat was barbecued and so moist! Cant recommend enough.

Been using this magnifanct venue for too long to remember. What I can say however; is that they are the BEST kebab and pizza venue in the whole of Thrrock. I'd go further to say, even Essex. Portion sizes good, customer service outstanding and delivery times 'ten to the none'... highly recommended WITHOUT FAIL... Again, thanks all, even though this pandemic, you never fail to deliver!!!

Ordered a pizza for the kids and it was burnt, should not have delivered a burnt pizza. Very disappointing!

I like essex kebabs and stuff since long time ago, but yesterday i order chicken Donner kebab as always, but instead gave a lamb Donner, well i don't like lamb and they really know that. I'm back for exchange kebabs but that guy its like evil, was so greedy when i ask to change to chicken kebab and gave me such a disgusting kebab i ever eaten. Instead salad he put me a onion and no souce. So no come back soon for sure.
