Lovely Italian restaurant would visit again.

Looking forward to a tasty Italian meal unfortunately it was not to be. Very busy restaurant, tables are quite close to each other so you can hear neighbour's conversations. Menu not huge, if you don't like linguine don't go as the pasta dishes are all with linguine. They had a specials board which had two items on it and one of them was to share so not great. Food served very quickly and no time to breath between starters and main course. Also a pet hate of mine is food being served on cold plates and unfortunately the main course was on cold plates. We didn't get asked once if everything was ok with the courses so no customer contact therefore a tip was not left as we felt it was not deserved. As this is the only Italian restaurant in Keswick and they know it will be fully booked every weekend I think they have lost their care and passion to provide authentic, tasty italian food which is a shame.

There was 8 of us and we had a great time. Everyone loved their food and the service was superb. The wine was fantastic too. We all went away happy and would return here again

The food arrived within 3 minutes of ordering indicating that it was not freshly cooked. Tasteless and poor ingredients. Very poor menu choice and salad mainly lettuce leaves with 2 cherry tomatoes and 1 slice of cucumber- extremely poor and unimaginative. I would recommend that you avoid.

This is no longer an Italian. No lasagna, no longer pasta choice. No steaks. What do they offer? A half empty restaurant which was a surprise. Service where the meal was passed over my family vs actually served. No staff asked if everything was alright and the waiter with a few earrings drinking behind the till. All in all a place to avoid. Such a shame. Maybe they’ve adopted a new approach? …. Customers don’t matter. Suggestion to Andrew the owner. Employ proper chefs. Train your wait staff Sort your menu (shorter than things that are small). Sadly better places and this is NOT AN ITALIAN 🇮🇹 ANYMORE.

Returned to Casa Bella for the fourth time and always have had a wonderful meal. We are a party of 6 and it caters for each of us. The staff are friendly but not intrusive.

Lovely food and a lovely ambience. Staff were very friendly. If I had one grumble, it would be that the menu wasn't very large, but we couldn't complain about the meal we had.

Fabulous experience with our friends, our first visit didn’t disappoint , great service & atmosphere and a very tempting menu . Tuscan pork linguine was delicious as was the lamb fillet , a true Italian restaurant that we can’t wait to return to , its a hidden gem

Unfortunately, we didn't have a good time here. Booked it for partner's birthday and was a big disappointment. The pizza didn't feel like an authentic Italian pizza at all and was very doughy - I had to request a steak knife just to cut it which should have been a sign to the waiter! Partner's pasta lacked flavour and chicken looked boiled. No waiter asked us whether we actually liked it or not. Prices are ridiculous - £18 for a pizza and £22 for some pastas. When you think of the ingredients they've used, it just isn't worth it. The waiters seemed to be all over the place and not assigned to any given area so they asked three times for drinks orders, the first before we'd even taken off our jackets and sat down to look at the menu. Their special gelato ice-cream felt quite poor quality and we didn't enjoy it much. Unfortunately the good reviews left a big disappointment and I cannot recommend this place. Will not be back.

Had a really lovely meal and great start to our trip to the Lakes. The atmosphere was relaxed, the food was lovely and the kids loved it!

Very good customer service from being welcomed at the door right through to leaving (we hadn't booked but still found space for two small ones). No complaints about the food which was very good.

Had a family meal here, the pizzas are incredible! Highly recommend for the food. Great prices and drink options, menu is quite small, but when they do their food that well you dont need a large menu. However, just a note, if you have young children come prepared. We had been out prior to meal so didnt have time to go to accomodation ti grab toys for entertainment, but even if they had colouring crayons and paper that would of been enough. They dont have wifi, to which we were told 'youll just need to talk to each other' we didnt want wifi for any reason except putting a show on for our little one to try keep her entertained through the meal as we didnt have our usual toys or any child friendly distrations with us. So note for families with young children, make sure come prepared with toys etc. Which is a shame as they have a kids menu which would hint that they are child friendly.

We visit casa Bella every time we visit Keswick, and we've never had a bad experience, 10/10 for everything, food, service etc. Only negative on our last visit a waitress was wearing very strong musky perfume, not good for a restaurant.🤢

Third time here and can’t fault it. It’s our favourite restaurant in Keswick. Accommodating and lovely staff. Fantastic food and nice atmosphere. Will definitively be back. If only to squeeze in a pudding which have never been able to manage yet!

Stopped off in Keswick for the evening. Booked online and the reviews didn’t disappoint. Lovely people serving excellent food with a warm atmosphere across the restaurant. Highly recommended, very tasty and the deserts menu is a must! 10 out of 10, will visit again!

Very rushed service, menu was very limited and food was very poor. My son said I cook better pasta at home. I had chicken milinase which I could not eat and left. My son’s pasta was dry and stuck together which he struggled to eat, the pizza my wife had was ok. We refused dessert and left. Overall very poor evening and will not be returning .

It had very nice food , very good service and very friendly people. Would highly recommend the homemade cheesecake which was the highlight .

When your table is booked for 1830 on a Tuesday evening and you arrive at 1815… it stinks of a little more than Parmesan cheese when the staff state your table isn’t ready so wait outside. Outside being less than 2 degrees and baltic.. may as well have put us in the gelato counter to wait it was that cold. No offer to sit at the bar for drinks, infact it was abundantly clear we were an inconvenience being slightly early. Despite the empty tables which lay ready and waiting for customers, or maybe they all had invisibility cloaks on. Harry Potter eat your heart out because you aren’t getting a slice of pizza from this spot. Sadly this restaurant is clearly past its ‘pest-o’, we gave them a big fat lasagne pie and found ourselves in the Round on Market Square. Smashing burgers and fries, excellent service, nothing was too much trouble and awesome vibe. Book your table online at casa bella, but pie them off for the other fella and head to the round!

Always a warm welcome & great food. The owner is always so friendly & makes sure everyone is well looked after. Great team effort. Waiting staff really care & are always happy. Food was delicious & an amazing sundae to finish.

Upon arriving we were informed that most of the drinks were unavailable, disappointing considering it was valentine's day and they'd only just opened. Got stared at by some of the waiters during our meal.

The staff here were so lovely and welcoming. One waitress was funny as well. The food here was incredible! The portion sizes were great. They had a great selection of GF items. I’d definitely come here again

Really disappointed!!! Had table booked this evening at this restaurant for my birthday, booked couple of months ago. When we were seated we were advised that the 4 main dishes on the menu were finished, it didn't leave much else unless you wanted a pizza, which we didn't. Why couldn't the restaurant have rang to advise of this , to give us the option of making alternative arrangements for a Sunday night! Not pleased

Okay food but all a bit rushed. I always get a bit suspicious when despite the restaurant being busy the food is served within five minutes o placing the order. We have dined here many times but were disappointed with the quality this time.

Had an amazing meal at Casa Bella. Our table wasn’t quite ready on arrival at our reserved time, but the staff couldn’t apologise enough and in the 10 minutes we were waiting, came back every few minutes to keep us updated. Staff were friendly, helpful, explained the menu and specials board and happily answered any questions. The food was just delicious and tasty and very reasonably priced. A definite recommendation from us if you’re in Keswick. We’ll definitely be back!

Spent a lovely evening here tonight. A warm welcome, fantastic friendly service and delicious food. The only negative was the extra charge to change one of the main courses to gluten free pasta. Appreciate that GF food prices are higher but an additional £3 for one portion of GF penne is quite outrageous. Overall though, still a very enjoyable night.

Having had a booking in another restaurant we were looking for a restaurant at short notice on New Year's Eve! Lucky for us, Casa Bella had a couple of tables left. We were given a warm welcome and orders were taken. When the food arrived we were not disappointed. Two of us had beef short rib with tagliatelle, another had spaghetti bolognese and another pork with fennel and spaghetti. All the food was amazing. The portions were generous and full of flavour. The service from all the staff was wonderful and we felt very well looked after. By the time we left we all agreed that we were lucky the first restaurant had let us down!!

It's 'okay'. Food wasn't what I'd call traditional Italian, for example, Carbonara was made with cream and not eggs which is how it's made in Italy. Gelato wasn't gelato in my opinion it was just ice cream labelled as gelato. Prices were high, higher than I pay in my local London Italian in fact. Plus point was the service and staff, everyone was excellent so can't fault that, it's the food and prices that let it down sadly.

We’ve eaten here a few times. The food is always delicious and beautifully presented. The staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommend booking in advance as they get very busy.

Visited Casa's on Saturday the 30th of November, you made myself and my Family so welcome,the food was fantastic,and will certainly visit again on our next trip to Keswick.

Superb meal at peak time. Attentive staff, prompt drinks and starters. Food and drink was outstanding, and all at a reasonable price. Highly recommended.

5 of us ate here one Friday evening, during early November. Fortunately, I had pre-booked, which was ideal as the restaurant was completely full. We had a range of dishes between us, including lasagne, pizza, and sea bass. The staff were friendly and welcoming, providing a good service and the food was excellent. With drinks, a main and dessert, it was about £40pp. The restaurant is situated just around the corner from the main high street and there's plenty of on street parking nearby. We thoroughly enjoyed this establishment and would definitely like to return. It was a great place to visit.

Very nice and busy restaurant and I enjoyed the food. However, if you are looking for an authentic Italian pizza bare this in mind: Here you will get a wonderful british-italian fusion of what you are looking for. I never had cheddar on a pizza before. It was still nice though.

We had a fantastic meal here for the last night of our stay in Keswick. Service was friendly and attentive and the ambience great. We shared a camembert starter which was excellent. My main was lasagne while my partner had a four cheese pizza which he loved. We shared chips and onion rings and finished with ice cream, which is a restaurant speciality. An excellent experience which we will be repeating in May when we return.

Booked for 5pm yesterday. Was taken straight to seat on arrival. Was served promptly and politely. Food delicious and huge portions ate way too much but thoroughly enjoyed everything. Only disappointment was could not possibly fit in one of their lovely gelato desserts 😋😋😋

We visited last week as a group of five. The restaurant seems to have three main areas. The entrance leads through an ice cream parlour, which can get a bit crowded when it’s busy, especially as people come and go. However, the food was fresh and delicious.

Absolutely wonderful experience tonight. We came as a family of seven and needed room for a wheelchair for my nephew. The staff were fabulous and we were seated somewhere quiet with room to store the chair. The food was absolutely SUPERB! My Brother is still talking about his lamb dish! Everyone had something different and we were all absolutely delighted. We really nearly booked again for tomorrow night! Thanks for looking after us Casa Bella!

This is a popular restaurant that does serve good quality food. Issue is that it feels overpriced and the service can be very hit and miss. Had the special which was Pork and beef bonbons with spaghetti tonight. Food was excellent quality, as were the rest of my family's meals. If it's busy the waiters are run off their feet and then little things slip as they seem to all be serving all tables at once - no dedicated server for your table. If in Keswick during school holiday weeks then, like many other restaurants, you'll need to book weeks in advance to get a table when you want it.

Called in without a reservation on Sunday night and managed to get a table. I had stuffed peppers, Mr had a chicken pasta. Both dishes were absolutely delicious. We even managed a Baileys cheesecake to follow. Very nice bottle of Rioja. The team really looked after us, very friendly and efficient. Lovely ambiance. Great value. We will definitely be back soon.

We had a fantastic family meal here, the service was excellent, really friendly and helpful. They have good gf options, pizza pasta, meat dishes and desserts. It was busy, even on a Monday evening so recommend booking in advance. Unfortunately the tiramisu was sold out, so we're going back!

Fab Italian, do book in advance as it gets busy here for a reason. Clean, nice atmosphere, menu was nicely laid out and a good variety of options, food and drinks served in good time, staff are very friendly and happy to help. We had the camembert sharer which was lovely. Stuffed chicken was delicious and the vegetables were cooked to perfection. Very delicious. Plentiful options for pudding, the warm chocolate fudge cake and ice cream is the best we've had and it was a very generous portion. You can choose ice cream to take away at good prices, would recommend doing this even if you're passing through.

Delicious food! The bruschetta with ham and mozzarella was delicious! The Lamb Cannon was very well prepared. Rosé as stated in the menu. Delicious peeled potatoes and warm vegetables. Delicious!! The peunutella and tiramisu was tasty. Especially the ice cream! If you don't feel like pub food, go to Casa Bella!

Best restaurant in Keswick, full stop! Great food, great people and always an essential visit , or two, or three, when visiting Keswick.

Staff was extremely friendly and service was quick that’s quite unusual for Italian restaurants in my experience but the food was average. Tiramisu was the worst as if bought in a shop, carbonara and lasagna were average

Visited due to it appearing well rated. Service staff lovely. Manager, rude. Food salty and not good quality and priced too high for the quality. We won’t be back and an expensive lesson learned.

Ate dinner there tonight, and the food was exquisite! Delicious, with enormous portions. I’m looking forward to having my leftovers for lunch tomorrow! The service, however, was very poor. A friendly person welcomed and seated us, but then our server seemed to expect us to order before we had time to study the menu. Entrees came at the same tome as salads. I would have liked to have had water with my meal, but no one came by to ask, nor did anyone check on us or ask how we enjoyed our meals. When it came time to pay our bill, again there was no one to ask, and we had to go up to the bar to pay. But the food was truly excellent, so kudos to the chef. Maybe I.’m critical of the service because we have just come from 5days in Scotland, where virtually everyone was welcoming, friendly, and wonderful. Meeting new people is tome one of the greatest part of travel.

The quality of food was lovely The staff was very friendly The menu was small, so there was not a lot of choice. So because of this, I expected the food to be spot on.

Absolutely superb stop off meal. Was seated quickly in the busy restraunt and was greeted with open arms. Service was quick and with a smile and was taken through the different options of the menu and even offered the chefs speciality dish. The pizzas are to die for; thin, crispy Italian style with a Sundae for desert. 10/10.

We had a delicious vegetarian Italian meal here in September 2024. Lovely pasta with mushrooms, great vegan chili and a nice appetizer platter. Topped off by a tasty selection of sorbets. Surprisingly busy for a Thursday- consider making reservations.

They wouldn't let us push two tables of four together for our party of eight pensioners.

I've been walking past this restaurant for over 10 years and each time it is packed with diners. After dining the other evening I now wonder why. Adequate but nothing special. BBQ pizza similar to that at Wetherspoons although at twice the cost

Delicious food and generous portion sizes. Just what’s needed after a long day of walking! Staff were really friendly and I didn’t feel rushed even though I was on my own. I managed to get in without a booking and food came quickly even though they were very busy. I had pinot Grigio, chicken liver parfait, risotto del mare and mixed sorbets. All of which were lovely. Will definitely be back!

Amazing food and great service. We went for a three course dinner. So delicious and well presented. Staff were very friendly and helpful, on what seemed to be a busy week night we were able to get a table straight away without reservation, though we did visit out of peak season. I had the Tuscan Pork which was amazing and I can highly recommend it.

I've lost count of the number of times we've dined out at Casa Bella. Every visit has been a delight, and this time was no exception. I tried the vegetarian chilli, absolutely delicious, and beautifully presented. My husband has the chicken pasta which was equally good. I couldn't resist a trio of gelati for dessert, the hazelnut is my favourite ice cream on the planet. A perfect start to our evening in Keswick, thank you Casa Bella 😊

We found this place in the app ‘find me gluten free’. We booked the day before and got a 6:30pm table slot. The restaurant was busy when we arrived and thankfully on this occasion you managed to seat us even though we were a bit early. I led with the fact I was Coeliac and was informed your wife was too - music to my ears! It meant I did not have to explain a thing and felt quite safe. I had the GF bruschetta for starters - I haven’t had that since pre diagnosis so that was a real treat for me. It was delicious. OH enjoyed his prawn starter too! We both had pizzas, pepperoni and then the GF Rustica. Honestly I think it is the nicest pizza I have had since diagnosis. The staff were lovely and friendly and attentive. The place was busy and the service was prompt and hassle free. The food was absolutely delicious and we will most definitely be back. Thank you so much for the lovely food and the feeling of being safe as a coelaic.

Really lovely food, bit pricey but came quickly. And service was excellent, super friendly staff. We did have to be sat outside of the main section of the restaurant, which initially wasn't an issue, but unfortunately there was a very strong breeze coming in from a door open in the bar area at the back! But overall lovely food and nice atmosphere with friendly and attentive staff

Italian food that we enjoyed: the first time there we had a shared board as a starter, then pasta and a lasagna. The second time we had individual starters then pizzas. Both meals were good and the house red went down really well with the food. Good atmosphere very busy, we booked online the first time, then turned up early and were able to get a table the second time. Always worth asking at the door, to see if there is a table, even if there if it looks very busy.

We ordered the vegetable arrabiata and venison. However, the pasta was overcooked that it fell apart in the bowl and the venison was overcooked too so had the consistency of rubber. I had to send the venison back as it was inedible and swapped it for the lamb, which was softer. However, the cook forgot the vegetables in the new dish, but I did not mention it. The potatoes were good though and the cook was nice to add more flavour to them as requested. Perhaps more practice with perfecting these details could enhance the execution of the dishes. The flavours and presentation of the dishes were very rich, however - it's the texture that needs work. The service was excellent and the waitresses were very attentive, friendly, and accommodating.

We always make sure we have at least one evening here when we visit Keswick for the excellent food and service. Make sure you book a table though. We booked a week in advance.

We’d had a hell of a day and just wanted somewhere to eat, and we were so glad we picked this place. The food was like heaven and we both thoroughly enjoyed it - still haven’t stopped thinking about it. We were struggling to decide what we wanted from the menu and the staff were kind, patient, and suggested some things off the menu. The lamb and sea bass is what we went for and both were delicious and beautifully cooked. Incredible flavours in both. Best potatoes either of us have had in a long time! And the veggies were cooked to perfection. Then for dessert we had the cheesecake of the day (raspberry and white chocolate) and gelato. Again, phenomenal taste - so creamy and delicious, beautifully presented! Can’t wait to eat here again one day (hopefully soon). Found a true gem in Keswick with this place!

I went with my partner for dinner. The food was average at best to be honest and over priced for what it was. I had chicken stuffed with goats cheese which I was assured was mild but tasted very strong. My partner said his pasta was bland. The tiramsu dessert was nicer but what spoilt it was the off hand and unfriendly manner of the waiter who took our dessert order. Overall we won't be returning as we didn't enjoy it which is a shame as it looks a nice restaurant and we previously had a nice meal there.

Absolutely outstanding 🫶. Fantastic food, great service!👍. We were only in Keswick for 2 nights, but we ate there both evenings because it was simply amazingly delicious 😋. We ate our way through the menu and everything was absolutely excellent 🤤.

Restaurant looked busy, and we were craving pasta. Ended up getting the arabiatta as it was one of the few veggie options. Full of olives and tasted like school dinner to be honest. Not worth it. Sweet potato fries and mayonnaise was really good though. Regret not getting the pizza.
