Caru Kebabs in Gwynedd

Chicken donner is really good, love it. Service is always good would highly recommend this place if you fancy a kebab.

We have take out at least once a week from this place but the last few times have been hit and miss with the most recent being a huge miss! Few weeks back we ordered two pizzas one with extra doner meat, only for it to arrive without. Husband was hungry so we let it go. The next time the same thing happened again so I called to complain - they said they would send doner right away so popped the pizza in the oven to keep warm - doner meat arrived 40mins later! Next two times have been ok and then tonight got told it would be 45 mins - called 90 minutes after ordering to say it would be with us in 2 minutes which it was but instead of a 7in pepperoni pizza with doner meat, we got a 7in garlic bread with cheese, which would not have been too bad if it was actually warm but the whole order was cold!! I am very disappointed but will be taking our custom elsewhere for our weekly take out, the last thing busy working parents want to do is wait ages, get the wrong order and it’s cold - then having to make a fresh meal at home whilst also out of pocket!

We ordered a variety of take away kebabs which were tricky to eat as only seemed to have half a pitta bread, the chicken was very dry and tasteless, the kids loved their mixed kebab though, the staff were very friendly and accommodating.

AWFUL experience!!! Ordered as a family of 4 at 6:30, wrong order came at 8:00! Another hour later our order came at 9pm which was sent away by us as by then we had eaten and waited 2.5hrs for a simple order of a chicken kebab and pizza for tea!! Disgrace - avoid ordering from here unless you enjoy waiting 3 hours for an order

Not my usual haunt but fancied a change. Nothing to get excited about as the kofta was over cooked and dry. Will not be returning me thinks.......😔

Usually very good, but new fat C$%T on grill cooked my lamb kebab for 30mins so the lamb was tough and hard work to eat. Very disappointed and know they don't care...

I ordered a 12" pizza, chicken, green pepper, chili, onion and garlic mayo. Pizza delivery came without garlic mayo. Tried to phone to camplain and the call was terminated because they had apparently closed 10 mins before the official closing time. Sloppy service and very disappointed with the reaction I got!

There was a time when Caru served delicious food but over the last couple of years it has degraded immensely. Prior to tonight’s take-away, my last order with Caru was last year and my partner and I waited nearly an hour and a half for a couple of cold and burnt pizzas. We retuned them and refused to pay. Tonight we thought we’d give Caru one last chance to redeem themselves to which we regret as the standard has not improved. Cold, burnt pizza, sloppy, lukewarm doner kebab. Give this place a miss!

Just been here twice, it's ok, parcking is a bit of a problem, but would be ok if you lived locally 😑

Ordered delivery which was 2 pizzas doner meat and a chicken burger with lettuce mayo and tomatoes the doner meat look days old and chicken just tasted out of date

This place does not sell Halal food .. so don't be eating food from here mistakenly thinking they sell Halal food .. !!!

We ordered food from Cary kebabs for delivery and I phoned at 19:10 which means that the food should of been here my 19:30 at the latest time was ticking on anyway I phoned them up asking where our food is they said it will be with you in 5 at 20:00 at night it turned up , the way they treat you is appalling and they ask you to do jobs cause they can’t bothered to and they are sexist towards there staff ! I do not recommend going here otherwise you will be waiting ages for your delivery or your food will be cold ....

On the lookout for halal food while in Caernarfon we found caru kebabs. The food was nice and so we returned.

Ddim yn dda. It's not Bella Pizza. Kebabs, pizza and chips were not good. Our Cardiff guests thought it was lovely but we have higher standards here in Cofiland.

Best Kabab I ever had in a Kabab shop, I just want to say it was amazing and chicken burger was fantastic

I ordered doner kebab and chips. With sauce and spices, they were yummy. We enjoyed food a lot. Only thing they fall short is lack of variety in salads. I gave them five stars just because it was tasty.

First time ordering take away delivered to us. very poor quality burger. Bun and burger were burnt and absolutely nothing else in it.

Never had food poisoning and the food is well cooked. So all in all a cheeky little donner kebab with salad and garlic mayo after a night out will please frome here. Weeeyeeey

Decidí darle una segunda oportunidad caru pinchos después de mi última mala experiencia, y ser un cliente por la carretera durante un rato. Me pareció que el Kebab de pollo que había pedido estaba seco, el pan era todo pasada y la ensalada no aspecto fresco! La media en el mejor!

Por favor evita este lugar (un generoso descripción ya) si usted tiene el más bajo nivel de higiene básica. El personal es completamente grosero y poco profesional.

The food is good, good selection of kebabs. The pitta bread really lets them down. Uncooked , soggy and small pitta bread makes it impossible to make a sandwich with the kebab. It just fall aparts like wet paper. Sort it out folks

Visitar Compeled aquí otra vez. Tenía un pollo tikka kebab. La porción Wowswers fue muy generoso para la orden. No pude terminar la tenía fría para mi comida del día siguiente. Era tan encantador. Sus fichas eran encantadores y frescos, y de nuevo muy generoso. Mi compañero tenía una pizza barbacoa. Dijo que 10 de 10. La espera no fue demasiado larga. Ventaja.

Siempre voy aquí. Es el mejor. Me encantan las hamburguesas con queso. Y los pinchos y pizza es increíble. Simplemente delicioso. El personal es muy amable.

We have a caravan in the area and its our tradition to have pizzas and chips when we come down. After trying a few takeaways that didn't come up to scratch we discovered Caru Kebabs. Pizza and chips are excellent, prices are good and staff are friendly. Food is fresh and the premises very clean. Father in law tried a kebab and said it was "spot on"

This place seems to think that because you go there on a Saturday night and might of had a drink they can get away with serving you burnt food ! Caru kebabs I don't drink... had a burger here a few weeks ago the bun was that burnt on both sides I couldn't believe it when I got in I phoned them up to complain they soon delivered me a fresh burger. Second visit tonight exactly same thing has happened tonight what is wrong with these people.will not be visiting for the third time stay well clear.

Lovely food,generous portions could not finish it all,freshly made,great value.Large donner kebab,medium chicken tikka kebab,and portion of chips all for under £11.keep up the good work Caru Kebabs.The best kebab house in Caernarfon.Will be returning.

Really nice food, nicest kebab and pizza in town!! Friendly and welcoming staff. Would deffo recommend Caru Kebabs.

Ordered a pick up take away from here about a week ago for family and myself,got home and order was completely wrong! Had to take it all back, asked for a refund. The person who took the order over the phone was hopeless. We will not be going back here. Went to Caernarfon kebabs after which we HIGHLY recommend for better food and better customer service.

I oderd 2 can off coke just one that camedI had everyhing eles in the food just i wanted 2 cans coke.

Reasonably priced. My partner had a chicken kebab which was delicious as was my chesseburger. The chips are frenchvfries as any other takeaway. The location is good for parking . The kebab house itself is very modern in terms of decor. The staff are lovely and seem very genuine a lot to be said for kebab shop workers.

I know I know, an other takeaway review. But Finishing late at the restaurant I don't want to cook at home, so last time I ordered medium pizza to pick-up on my way home. I ordered a pizza with extra kebab meat as I couldn't decide what to get and it seems a good way to try both at the same time. Both were nice but don't do it unless you are very hungry, basically you get a pizza with a LOT of meat on top, enough to feed two. I've got a good appetite but it was to much and I couldn't finish it. The place looks clean, the pizzas are made to order but the man/boy who served me looks a bit lost I will order again, lot cheaper than dominoes and unless dominoes you don't feel hungry after eating your pizza, don't get me wrong it's not heavy just more substance. Don't forget to bring cash they don't accept cards

We have three kebab shops in town. Bella pizza is awful, and after being a customer at Caernarfon Kebabs for over ten years have changed to this place as the Caernarfon Kebabs has gone down in standard. The large kebab here is very good, everything is fresh. They slice the donner meat fresh and the salad is delicious. Not so keen on their pizza though but the donner meat is well worth trying.

Ordered ten onion rings, only received nine. It's a real mystery to what happened to the tenth one. Pizza was good though.

I have had several takeaways from here and the quality is always decent. The lamb kebabs and pizza's are great. Chips are not so good.

This place is the best! I love their Donna meat on chips and their hot and spicy pizza is awesome ! Free delivery in the caernarfon area and never a long wait

Tried this kebab house whilst visiting the town. I must say the pizza and kebabs we ordered were spot on and delicious. The kids thoroughly enjoyed them as did I. The staff were also friendly and completed the order quite quickly. I think I would use this kebab house on a regular basis if based in the town.

Always friendly service and reliably good food. Place clean and staff friendly. Our takeaway of choice in Caernarfon. Would recommend.

Poor customer service, awkward interpersonal skills and pure disregard to quality and food hygiene. Generally, ok tasting doner (although too salty). They always give 'stale' nan bread, which is pre-frozen and reheated before serving. We tried their pizzas but my kids prefer the pizza from Caernarfon kebab on bridge street. However, the biggest issue is they really don't care about the quality of food they dish out to customers. They're called Caru (love) Kebabs but food hygiene and quality are low on their priority list and here's why. I arrived at opening and ordered a doner kebab. They had a fresh doner rotisserie cooking and asked if I could wait. I was glad to as it looked nice and fresh and It was slowly cooking, which was no problem. They then hauled an old doner rotisserie that was discoloured in multiple-layers and put it on a second burner. However, one flame (one of four) would not ignite. Therefore only 3/4 of the kebab was cooking. I could see clearly (and so could they) that one quarter of the meat was not properly heating up at all. They kept trying to light the flame but failed and were clearly frustrated. After about 10 mins they began carving the cooked portion and about an inch or so into the uncooked portion. Then, looking extremely frustrated, started carving the uncooked portion onto the stale nan bread to serve to me!I explained that the meat was not cooked and that it was not right to serve it to me. The hired staff explained it was cooked previously (the night before) so should be fine. I explained that was not right. And I had been watching the portion of meat continue to be uncooked. The guy who was carving, who I presume to be an owner, rather than offer to cook the meat properly (which is what I wanted) just rudely ordered his staff member to give me a refund! I asked why I couldn't wait and have the fresh meat, but they said it was not possible. This bothered my a lot as I expect takeaway food to be cooked throughout, as would anyone. And moreover, they are called 'love' (caru) kebabs. The dreadful attitude towards providing clean cooked food was just awful. The lack of regard towards providing good customer service was also extremely disappointing. They have lost a customer, and I'm sure one of many unless they change their food standards and unprofessional attitude. PS: For the record, the guy serving me was nice but had no say in the matter.

Love it here amazing pizzas which im hooked on and amazing chicken keebab especially with the naan bread option prices fair and free delivery always is quick and hassle free well done

Best pizza in town! Lovely! Would most definitely recommend! I had a pizza with pepperoni and the pepperoni was moist and juicy! The cheese and the dough melted in my mouth together like butter! Fantastic! Fantastic! Fantastic! Fantastic!

I only visit Kebab places after going to the 'Pub' but my Mom has been poorly and I needed something to eat. no 'Pub' involved!! The Staff were lovely and my Mixed Kebab was really tasty. Congrats' Guys, you are here to stay.
