Simply the best pie and sandwich shop around. It's all about the quality and the quantity. Get there early as they always sell out.

I'm not sure if there's a new owner but the meat and potato pies have tasted sour the last couple of times I've been here. They used to be so delicious. Not sure what's happened. Edit: I'm not too sure if a change in staff has occurred but the pies have returned to being delicious. Hence the edit

Always fresh, tasty and plentyfull on their sandwiches

Cold sausage roll. Had lots in the hot draw so i dont understand why they would give me a cold one. Had a bacon and egg muffin, bacon sweaty from sitting in a bain-marie, egg totally over cooked. Thumbs down

Shuts at 1pm on a Friday not half 3 as stated, bummer

The staff need to wear hair nets for hygiene as hair being found in food is not nice and puts you off your food be nice if next time I go past I see this happen

Great for pies, sandwiches, cakes and breakfast 100%. Friendly staff and never had a cause for complaint. Yummy!

Ordered a large roast turkey sandwich on whole meal - and came on white ... i know it's not a big mistake but I'm gluten intolerant. And this is the second time ordering the same sandwich and each time the added salad is different ... like no egg today wtf. This is my only issue .. everything else is spot on ... I just think when paying nearly £4 for a sandwich it should be made correctly.

I regularly call in for two meat and potato pies, they are the best that you can buy and at £1.30 each a real bargain. Top quality ingredients, well seasoned with melt in the mouth pastry, can't be faulted!

This bakery on Ridge hill lane has been a feature since 1922. The produce is both high quality, pastry is egg washed and pastry is melt in the mouth, and priced reasonably. Pies are superb and the oven bottom muffins are so fresh. There is always a full shop which says it all.

My family’s favourite place to buy hot pies in Stalybridge. Friendly staff. Nice cream cakes too. Would recommend.

I have only purchased the \Steak Pies and Custards from Carrs and they are both delightful. Give them a try.
