Have visited here several times and have never felt disappointed, had a meal here again at the weekend and as always the food was superb! Steak cooked perfectly as I'd asked (medium) the staff are so lovely and attentive! Highly recommend anyone to dine here 😊

Had the sharing steak Phat plate - Fabulous, unfortunately couldn’t finishing the Parmesan fries, what a devastating shame. Great value for the price. All round a great meal, lovely staff.

I'm sure it's good value on the nights they have deals on, you get decent sized portions however I found it quite expensive. My food was generally luke warm but tasted good. On the whole staff are nice and attentive however when coming to pay the bill individually as a party of 7 the server became visibly irratated by us. I even attempted to leave a tip by card but was met by the response "no it's all finished now" I still left some cash but no real gratitude shown. Doubt very much I'll be returning

Just come home, after having a wonderful meal at the Carniboar. We are a family of three, and all had the steak night special. It was absolutely delicious, cooked beautifully, and very generous portions! We also had drinks and desserts, which were lovely. Our waitress, Ruth, was fantastic! Attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly….. perfect! Will definitely be returning-Thanks for a great evening!

Perfect food and excellent service. The steaks here are amazing and the menu gives lots of choice. My only complaint is that we were overcharged. The menu advertised was two burgers for £20. It was only a week later when I checked the bill that I found we were charged £36. My daughter hd paid the bill and they said the discount had been applied, but it hadn’t. We didn’t really notice as the bill was well over £200 and so it didn’t register. I messaged them via Facebook but they never replied. On the note of the burgers, they were amazing and worth the full price hence still giving a ‘very good’ review. This was just one visit of many and I will still go back, next time I’ll be checking the bill carefully before paying.

Recientemente me casé y tuve la celebración para mi HOG bricolaje noche. Wow es todo lo que puedo decir, la carne era sensacional, y después de 2 semanas de estar casado el hog es todavía el hablar de la boda. La carne se derretía en la boca y estaba lleno de sabor. El servicio de atención al cliente (John) no podía hacer lo suficiente para nosotros. Son un buffet muy bien de precio que sin duda no defraudará, por lo tanto, recomendaría a cualquiera.

Sontley Rd Coed-y-GlynI don't normally bother to write reviews but the service today was a repeat of negative experiences we've had here before. We arrived around 5pm and were promptly seated and our orders taken. Food arrived fairly quickly and was tasty as usual - all good so far. My issue however is that once you are served, the staff pretty much leave you to it. There was no follow up to order further drinks, nor an invitation to order desserts. I ended up walking round trying to find a server but no hope. In the end, frustated and annoyed, we gave up and just asked a lad who was clearing tables for the bill - although he then had to get a server to do this. Trying to pay was another faff, I asked for the automatic tip that they add on to be removed but the girl had to get a manager to do this. Such a shame that poor service is letting this place down. We were there for about 1.5 hours and just had one drink and our mains. Lack of attentive service left us feeling totally ignored and forgotten about. We would have ordered at least one more round of drinks (about £25) plus desserts, (probably another £25) and they would also have gotten their tip. Seeing as I'm having a moan, I'll add that the sparkler that the staff brought out for another table who were having a birthday left acrid smoke in the air for a good 5 minutes - really not pleasant when we were eating. I really don't think we'll be back, at least not during an evening service.

11 Henblas StreetDecided to come on a Thursday night when they have a special offer on of a Burger and a drink for £10. We were surprised when it came with chips too, which were hand cut and reminded me of home cooked chips from my childhood! The burger was amazing, juicy and full of flavour. Shawn (chef) made us feel welcome and made an effort to come and talk to us and make sure everything was okay. We would recommend a visit!
